This just-renovated Paki Maui deluxe unit features Verde Fire granite throughout, unique burled teak furniture from Bali, onyx dining table from Indonesia, a plasma TV and home entertainment system and elegant, yet compact, kitchen. The mirrored living room of our Paki Maui condo reflects incomparable Pacific views, includes a comfortable queen sleep sofa. A spacious one bedroom in the Paki Maui, this moderately priced Paki Maui unit is a substantial discount from comparable one-bedrooms and a real find. As you sit on your spacious Paki Maui lanai, gazing out over the gorgeous Pacific to the romantic islands of Lanai and Molokai you will know you are in Paradise. Framed by coconut palm trees, you could sit in your Paki Maui unit or on your Paki Maui lanai all day long, watching the antics of the whales in season, the changing of the cloud patterns over the islands of Lanai and Molokai, and of course the incomparable Maui sunsets.
But your Paki Maui unit also provides the luxury of a spacious bedroom with a king-size burled teak bed with new pillow-topped mattress and a TV/DVD in the bedroom. A full tub/shower bath is separated from the vanity, upon which sits a unique stone vessel sink. The elegant living area has a queen-size fold out sofa bed providing two adults or two children a wonderful sleeping option. The onyx dining table is a rare piece of art and the Bali living room furniture in our Paki Maui condo is unique.
Looking out on the spectacular ocean view from your fully appointed kitchen will make mealtime preparation a joy. Your Paki Maui kitchen has everything you would need for cooking including a microwave/convection oven, cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice maker and ample cabinet space. A gorgeous onyx sink in the kitchen is a touch of elegance against the granite. Mirrored walls that bring the ocean indoors, a plasma TV, a state of the art home entertainment system, and unique furnishings will make your hours in this Paki Maui unit sheer pleasure.
The lush Paki Maui garden, waterfall, and pond behind your Paki Maui unit make even your elevator ride to the fourth floor a vacation experience. Conveniently located with a full grocery store, shopping area, and shops available to you across the street, and restaurants a short walk away, you will agree that Paki Maui is a phenomenal blend of a direct oceanfront tropical resort, an island vacation shopping village, and the incomparable island beauty that is found only in Maui. The Paki Maui Vacation Rental is close the Lahaina Civic Center where the Maui Invitational NCAA Collegiate Basketball Tournament takes place and short scenic 10 minute drive to Kapalua, site of the famous Kapalua Plantation golf course and annual host to the openning of the PGA season tournament, the Mercedes Championship Golf tournament.
Ever since Mr. Paki sold his waterfront paradise acreage to the developer and Paki Maui was born, the beautiful Paki Maui property continued to be his personal home throughout his life. He continued to love the waving coconut palms and the surf breaking against the beach as he had when this property was a single family estate. His desire to provide fabulous vacations for people endures as you will relish in the exquisitely manicured tropical gardens, newly renovated Paki Maui pool and barbeque area, and expansive lawn for sunbathing and relaxing, absolute oceanfront, yet all within easy walking distance to a tremendous choice of local shops.
After enjoying a leisurely breakfast on your Paki Maui lanai as you watch the humpback whales play in season right in front of you, you may want to sit in Paki Maui's own tropical garden, four stories of lush palms and vegetation of every variety. From a stone bench on the Paki Maui grounds, you can sit for hours and let the multi-colored koi entertain you as they literally jump out of the water and chase each other around the pond. My husband is a koi affectionado and he says he has never seen koi act like they are at Sea World! Then you may want to take a barefoot stroll to the left of Paki Maui, up Kaanapali Beach. You can walk all the way to Black Rock, admiring the interesting properties on the left and enjoying the surfers and windsailers in the ocean. If you slip your credit card in your pocket, you can stop at any number of oceanfront cafes for a leisurely meal. Our favorite is Castaways - their Kula Cinnamon Raisin French Toast is amazing.
A short drive away from the Paki Maui, you will find all of the entertainment you can imagine - from tennis and world class golf rersorts to souvenir shopping in the historic whaling town of Lahaina. For upscale shopping, you will want to go to the Whaler’s Village at the center of Kaanapali Beach.
As the afternoon shadows lengthen, be sure to return to your Paki Maui home to take a dip in the pool just steps away from the breaking waves on the beach, and then join your Paki Maui neighbors on the oceanfront lawn for the shared enjoyment of the incredible Maui sunset. If you don't feel like cooking, walk across the street to the Okazuya Deli for a wonderful variety of meals from fish to steak to Italian to stir-fry. Eat it on your own secluded Paki Maui lanai for a romantic moment together. As you end your day either in front of the evening news, checking your email, or sitting on your lanai watching the moonlight play on the unending waves, you will know why the readers of Conde Nast voted Maui the number one travel destination in the world! For more pictures and info, please go to our personal website where you will also find a virtual tour of our one bedroom Paki Maui condo rental unit.

A Great Home Away from Home

Thanks for sharing you beautiful condo. Our experience with Sue and the condo staff was super. The views, breezes, sunsets were great as promised, and the condo was first class and very comfy. We want some of that Bali furniture for our new house; it was beautiful and usable. The kitchen was very user friendly & the granite pieces and counters were gorgeous. And we brought our i-pods and used the cd/dock for island music. We saw spinner dolphins and some whales in the distance from the lanai one morning, a real treat! The Ozaw. Deli across the street served great take-out for a few nites in, and don't miss the food at MALA restaurant on Front St. in Lahaina. Our close by fave beaches were Napili and Old Airport Beach, Kaanapali. And please, don't limit yourself to just ONE shaved ice in Lahaina. The Feast at Lele was a memorable show, well worth experiencing for the great dancing. And we saw some whales during a trip with the Pacific Whale Fdn. Very cool. And for your fish enthusiasts, we saw a large black frogfish (!!!!) at Airport beach, right next to a small spotted moray, in about 10 ft of water, snorkeling. It made my trip. We loved staying here, and would certainly stay again if we get back to Maui. Thank you Sue, Mahalo, and Happy Holidays!

We have been here for two weeks and are sad to leave. This was perfect ! We could not have spent our 30th anniversary any better. This was also our first trip to Maui and this condo presents all the beauty of the island as well or better than any other place we could have chosen. It is quiet and peaceful and the views from the lanai are beyond description. The Paki Maui complex is clean, quiet, and ideally located away from all the hustle bustle, but close enough for convenience. The condo itself is more than comfortable and accommodated all of aour wants and needs. It truly exceeded our expectations. Maholo.

We stayed at Paki Maui for two weeks in January and absolutely loved it! We were looking for a place with a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every night, and Paki Maui fit the bill. Although the kitchen is definitely smaller than our home kitchen, it was fully equipped and perfect for a vacation kitchen. Our favorite thing about the condo, however, was the lanai - we ate breakfast out there every morning and watched the whales go by. We thought the condo was beautifully upkept, and the owner was very helpful - she even called us on the morning of our departure to let us know that overnight storms might impact our route to the airport. Overall, I loved our time at Paki Maui and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in this unit and had an amazing time. We spent hours on the lanai (balcony) taking in the picture perfect ocean scenery. It was wonderful having a king bed and we found it very comfortable. We mostly went out our first week, but we cooked lunch and dinner about every day the second week and found the kitchen very well equipped and functional. The little details in the unit are amazing - from the granite counters to the incredibly beautiful, solid marble dinning table. The unit also has an incredible home entertainment system, with an HD television and professional-grade surround sound. We loved being able to just stay in and watch a movie rather than track down a theater in Lahaina. We were initially concerned about staying in a unit that did not have AC and we went in the heat of July/August. However, our fears proved unfounded. It was wonderfully cool in the mornings and evenings, and the temperature would stay in the low 70s even during the heat of the day as long as we kept the blinds closed from about 12-2. While the grounds are not ostentatious, the pool and hot tub were always clean and functioning, and the front desk people were incredibly accommodating. One of them let me borrow her boy friend’s golf clubs for an afternoon! Also, the lady who rents the place, Sue, is SO incredibly nice and helpful – all in all it was a wonderful experience and we would love to return!

This unit is beautiful to look at, but not very functional. The kitchen is well-appointed, but is so small two people can't be in it at once. The sink is impossible to seriously wash dishes in or wash vegies in. If you enjoy cooking, this is not the place for you, s the kitchen gets unbearably hot quickly. The advertised "king" bed is really a queen frame with a king mattress, so the excess hangs over the sides, making for an uncomfortable sleep. The linens smelled so old and musty, like they had been put away damp, so we spent one full day laundering and drying the sheets and towels. The west-facing view is beautiful, but if the shades aren't closed by 2 PM, the unit will be unbearable by evening. The pool was very dirty and full of leaves every time we tried to use it. The BBQ area is very nice, and a good alternative to cooking in the unit. We were sadly very disappointed with this unit and would not visit it again nor would we recommend it to others.
Owner response:I was saddened to receive this review, as I have never received one complaint about the temperature of the unit, the size of the kitchen or sink, the comfort of the bed or the bedding, and received no complaint from these guests at the time (I even sleep with my cell phone so I am always available for any issues). There is an amazing breeze that blows through the unit unless it is shut up tight. We have actually replaced all the bedding since this couple was in the unit, not because of this complaint which I didn't know about, but because we do that on a regular basis. The pool has been very appreciated and popular with our guests and since the concern about the leaves was now four months ago, I have no way to check on what the issue was that week. We have added a video to the VRBO site so potential guests can see the unit in even more details than the sixteen pictures. I have guest books filled with grateful and positive remarks, but haven't thought to ask guests to register their compliments on VRBO, which I will begin to do. I have them typed up, undoctored, which I can send to anyone interested.

The description of the condo location and layout was as described, unit was clean and well maintained. Our favorite part of the condo was the view from the lanai, it was breathtaking, enjoyed sitting there in the morning with our coffee in hand and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening and watching the sunset. We were satisifed with the customer service that we received from the owner and would recommend this property to our friends, it was a fair price and good location. Our only complaint was although the temperature was 80 degrees outside the pool was too cold to swim in, we obviously were not the only ones that felt this way because we never saw anyone in the pool the entire time we were there. We prefer swimming in a pool rather then at the beach so this was a disappointment to us, we were told by the front desk that the Association decides on the temperature of the pool. We did however enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Haleakala with Ekahi Tours, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The Warren and Annabelle magic show in downtown Lehaina was one of the most entertaining shows we have ever seen, not one of your typical cheesy tourist traps. When we called we were advised that the dinner portion of the show was sold out but they would try to accomodate us for the magic show. As promised they called us right back and offered to bring in extra chairs for us in the back row. We agreed and were not disappointed, all seats in this intimate auditorium provided a good view of the stage where the magician/comedian was performing. The venue where it is held was beautifully decorated for Christmas, we thoroughly enjoyed this evening, felt it was money well spent. We also enjoyed our scenic view of the beach while we ate wonderful Macadamia pancakes at the Gazebo restaurant, what a treat. Also had a delicious pizza and salad at BJ's Chicago Pizza also in downtown Lahaina and enjoyed the variety of shops in this quaint town. Also took a snorkeling trip that was a lot of fun. Overall a good experience in Maui and at our unit in Paki Maui.

The furnishings of the unit were beautiful. It was very centrally located in the heart of great dining and shopping. It was also very close to numerous great places to snorkle. And we loved the pool and outdoor grill. Would stay here again.

This property is a magnificently renovated condo, in a fabulous location with one of the most spectacular lanai views I have ever seen. The unit features luxurious 5-star-feeling decor (including granite countertops, lush hardwood and marble furniture, a wonderfully comfortable pillow-top king sized bed, and an uniterrupted view from the patio). It was spotlessly clean and impeccably maintained, and despite being in an condo-complex, was surprisingly quiet. The condo is located in the "less-touristy" part of Maui, just north of Kaanapali, but there are still lots of activites, beautiful beaches and great restaurants nearby. The lovely town of Lahaina is just a few minutes away by car, and a short drive north up the coasline provides access to some great, secluded snorkle beaches! All in all, this vacation property is a great option for any couple looking for a romantic condo in a great location with a magnificent view!
