The BEYOGLU APARTMENT in Istanbul, 80 square meters/ 860 square feet (first floor) located in the very centre of the city in the Beyoglu quarter (Turnacibasy sokak , a quiet street just off Istiklal, the main shopping street) and 1 MINUTE WALK from TAKSIM SQUARE and less than 5 minute walk from GALATA TOWER, consists of:
* One BEDROOM with double bed (king size 180x200 cm), walking closet, desk and tv.
* Large LIVING ROOM with sofa bed ( 2 single beds), dining table for six, covered verandah with seats, satellite TV ( also with American channels), hi-fi / CD player, bookcase.
* KITCHEN ( off living room) fully equipped also with dish washer.
* BATHROOM with shower, handbasin, wc and bidet.
You will enjoy an AMAZING VIEW OF THE BOSPHORUS, THE BLUE MOSQUE and AYA SOFYA from the covered verandah.
The apartment is very comfortable, charmingly decorated ( parquet floor, painted frieze ), and fully equipped : AIR CON , central heating, INTERNET ( dsl and wireless), SATELLITE TV with American – European channels , dishwasher, hairdryer, microwave, Italian coffe maker, hi-fi / CD player, cooking utensils.
The apartment is very quiet and safe during night and day: enjoy the peace when you are at the apartment and feel the lively Istanbul behind the corner!
** DISTANCES & PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from important tourist sites such as The GALATA TOWER, The ISTANBUL MODERN ART MUSEUM , PERA MARKET ( where they sell fish, vegetables, and caviar...) and TAKSIM Square.
It is also within easy reach of AYA SOFYA, the BLUE MOSQUE, TOPKAPI PALACE, and The GRAND BAZAAR.
TRANSPORT:
* Metro station ( couple of minute walk ) : « Taksim » and " Tunel".
* Tram stop ( within a stone's throw of the apartment): the very picturesque tram that goes all the way up the Istiklal from Tunel to Taksim Square and viceversa .
to Tunel and Takism
* Bus stop ( several lines) is located less than 1 minute from the apartment.
* Tramway to Sultanhamet : down the hill ( 5-10 minute walk) you will find a stop for the very efficient, air conditioned tramway which provides fast and frequent service across the Golden Horn via Galata Bridge to Sultanhamet and to the port, where ferries can be taken to cross and go down the Bosphorus. To come back up the hill there is first the « Tunel » funicular railway from Galata Bridge, then from the « Tunel » stop a small , very picturesque tram that goes all the way up the Istiklal to Taksim Square.
* taxi and garage parking: you will find a taxi rank in front of Galatasaray Licesy 150 metres from the apartment ( although taxis can be stopped anywhere) and garage parking facilities within 20 metres.
** NEARBY : many restaurants, internet cafes, antique dealers and food shops ( a supermarket is located 20 metres from apartment) and PERA MARKET where they sell fish, vegetables, and caviar.
Turnacibasy sokak itself, in the CUKURCUMA QUARTER, is famous for its antique shops .
Finally there is a historic Turkish Bath just a yard from the front door.

* Price per night up 2 persons: €75.
* Top season (Christmas, New Year,Easter ) up 2 persons .. €540/week .. €90/night.
* For each additional person: €20/night (year round).
* Final cleaning fee: €70 .
* For reservation required €150 account or more (wire transfer or paypal).
* Security deposit €200 cash required on arrival and returned on departure.
Further discount for stay longer than 3 weeks. Monthly from 1500 euro.
