  Dear Lily & Mark, Thanks so much for the use of your cottage.It was so bright and immaculate.We seldom ate out because everything was there to cook a full meal.The location was excellent,just steps from the beautiful beach.We walked each morning along the shaded pathway along Gulf Drive.On Sunday morning much to our surprise there was a great outdoor market set up along this walkway.We were able to pick up some beautiful fresh fruit and vegetables. Not that we had any problems,but was nice to know that the owners were living on site if you did. Once again Mark and Lily,thanks so much for your hospitality. Bernadette & Michael

  My wife and I were looking for a beach property with easy beach accessibility. This is definitely the place. We spent 18 days here and our days were spent sun bathing and then we had easy walks to the many nearby food and drink establishments. The unit was well maintained and provided a flat screen TV and internet access. We also used the private courtyard for outdoor relaxation. The unit also has a grill and bikes for the renters. Owners are pleasant and always just a minute away for any questions. Anna Maria island has all the charm of the old school Florida beach scene.

  Great place to walk to beach and many food and drink establishments. We spent our days sun bathing nights walking to all the above. Unit is clean and updated. Included is also: - Internet - Flat screen TV - Private Courtyard - Bikes - Grill - and a free trolley which runs the island on a regular basis. You can park you car and walk almost everywhere. Publix is a short drive and Anna Marie island has all the charm of old school Florida.

  Dear Mark, Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your little piece of paradise. It’s been over six years since we have been to Anna Marie Island and it is still as beautiful as we remember it to be. Your place has the perfect location. The street is only one block wide and it takes less than a minute to walk to the beach or walk to the dock on the bay. It’s a very quiet street even though it’s only a few blocks to walk to Bridge Street to enjoy a good meal at one of the many restaurants. The cottage was very clean and cozy. It was very comfortable for Sandy and me and there was plenty of room for the kids if they had come with us. We enjoyed walks on the beach, collecting sea shells and watching sunsets each evening. There is something magical about Bradenton Beach that makes you not want to leave and will keep you coming back. We will be back! Thanks Mark.

  From the first moment I saw the picture of this property, I fell for it. Lucky for me, it was available the dates I requested. Mark was so easy to stay in touch with, and really was so serviceminded. He kindly answered any questions I had before my stay and after we had arrived. The property was exactly as described and very well maintained. We absolutly loved the nearby beach (it is really a wonderful beach), sunset, the restaurants and shops all within walking distance. We also drove off the island now and then for some sightseeing. But we fell in love with the relaxing island style on this island. We had such a great stay, that we wanted to stay another week. Mark was kind enough to offer us a stay in another cottage that he own just a few steps away. I had two amazing weeks with my girls in a true paradise! We will for sure come back to AMI and Bradenton beach and would love another stay in any of Marks properties. We made memories for a lifetime!

  The stand alone Cottage (unit 9) is a 2 bedroom cottage that sits between the beach and the bay. Great Location! Close to everything. Walk, ride the trolley, ride a bike. If you are a member of the Moose lodge; it's 3 blocks away! (Inexpensive food and drinks, and it's ocean front) The cottage is recently updated, and is beautifully decorated. When you walk out of your cottage there is a wonderful common area with a grill, umbrella tables, plenty of space to sit back and relax, share a homemade meal, or play a game. No need to drive to the beach, the walk is about 1 minute. Several restaurants within walking distance, ice cream parlors, souvenier stores, etc. You won't be disappointed!

  This little cottage was perfect for my family vacation. Me, my wife and our two girls ages 10 and 12 spent a week here. Even though there was quite a bit of rain that week, we had a great time. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was there - including two flat screen TVs with more than adequate cable for those rainy evenings. It is obvious that the property has been recently updated. The tile, paint and furnishings are all like new. It's only a short stroll to the beach and historic Bridge Street is only a few blocks away - a very easy walk. There's a Circle K close by and several decent places to eat all within easy walking distance. The cottage has two small bedrooms - but there was more than enough room for us. Linens were clean and in great shape. There is one bathroom that was also very clean. The main room is made up of a combination kitchen and living room - both of which were also clean and in great shape. There's also a cute little lanai with a small table and chairs. A courtyard with other units arranged around it is outside. It was really nice. There are tables with umbrellas and even a gas grill. The tropical landscaping is well-maintained and beautiful. At the back of the property there is a very handy washer and dryer so that you can save a trip to the laundromat when you need to clean your clothes. Finally - the business end of the trip could not have been easier. Everything was communicated perfectly and payment via PayPal was super convenient. All in all, this was a terrific choice for us. It was far better than any hotel or motel we could have stayed in and was priced fairly. I would stay there again for sure.

  Just wanted to drop a line of appreciation to Mark and his wonderful wife and child. This bungalow was everything and more that you described in your listing. These owners have gone far and above the normal vacation rental and have paid attention to the every need one who is away from home would need. The location of the home is unbelievable and perfect. When at this home you are away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. You step into ISLAND TIME. It becomes a slower pace and if you want to step it up a bit...there are so many places nearby to do that. The beach is gorgeous and the bay is so scenic. If you are looking for serenity, this is it! The courtyard is tropical and peaceful. We just loved the whole vacation and were made to feel like their property was our home away from home. I can not wait to do it again. I have stayed many places on this island and never have I stayed at a place that felt so right. I will return! You can rest assured, you will not be disappointed in renting this unit.   Cute, little bungalow just steps from both the beautiful white sands of the Gulf of Mexico and the Bay of Sarasota. The house was recently remodeled and was very usable and clean. The owners were quite accommodating and helpful when we had questions. The common court yard was beautifully landscaped and well appointed with tables and chairs which we used to have picnics and relax. We loved going to the farmers market on Main Street to get fresh fruits and vegetables on Saturday mornings. The bungalow is also within walking distance to Coquina Beach, one of the best public beaches/ parks in the area.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

It was so nice meeting you, your husband, his brother and wife, and your In-laws, all staying at the cottage. It was nice to hear your husband say he used to build sand castles as a boy at Coquina beach a short walk away. My wife and I were talking about how our son will have the same fond memories of building sand castles at our white sand beach, just 30 steps away, too! We look forward to having you back soon!
