The pictures do not give this place justice. Being there for the first week of January I was prepared for cold, one day to be 50 degrees! This is an absolutely gorgeous and secluded cabin. It was just me and my dog and we enjoyed not only the area, but the cabin/house itself. The owner is friendly and a pleasure to deal with, available for questions, and almost seems like a friend helping out a friend type of relationship. It is his family's cabin that they use, but rents it out as well. You cannot help but feel relaxed and "at home". Everything you need to live is there. All you need is groceries and a few books; although they have pretty good selections of books for you to read up there. If you bring a book and do not want it, leave it there for someone else to read. The trails for walking, all the equipment for canoeing, snowshoeing, ice fishing is all there. My dog and I just went on walks around the property and on the lake since it was so warm. I am looking forward to my next trip, maybe this time I'll share the place with my brothers, sisters and nieces!

We just spent a four day weekend in the Echo Trail Cabin and enjoyed it so much we are going back with the family in July for a week long stay! Lots of living space with - the open kitchen dining area was ideal for hanging out and visiting while cooking and playing games. Thanks!!!

We had the best time!! The snow was great. We fished (caught some northern, skiied the North Arm, Hidden Valley and into the Boundry Waters to see the pictographs(twice). We went on a midnight walk (actually maybe 10:00)along the snowmobile trail to Fenske to look at stars and deposit snow angels. We played games, ate very well and caught up with friends and family. I fell asleep with a big smile on my face every night. Can't wait for next year.

Great location near Ely and trails. Bass Lake trail is a must. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance and pot&pan you could need. The entire cabin is very spacious and suited our needs very well. Thanks for such a great get-a-away.

All one would want and much more, set in a beautiful cabin/home in the woods. Step out of the sliding glass doors onto the balcony deck and breath the fresh, pine scents, hear the calls of the wild things, have a "Whisky Jack" fly in and take a piece of bread from your fingers, but most of all and perhaps best of all, just listen to the solitude. Then as a bonus, be up around midnight, step out once more onto the deck and see what "night" is SUPPOSED to look like. Dark, still, stars, more stars and the "Milky Way". So peaceful and serene, it gives one a sense of the enormity of God's creation.

We had a great time at this spacious cabin. The location is secluded and has a BWCA feel; yet less than 15 minutes from Ely. The cabin was large and had everything anyone needs (HD TV was great for winding down the night). The lake was quiet and great for cannoning. There is a nice hiking trail near by (Bass Lake Trail). The owner was very responsive to emails. Overall, the location, cabin, amenities were perfect. Thanks Sean!!

We had a fantastic stay at your beautiful cabin last March. It's been a while since we stayed but we have been busy planning our wedding after getting engaged during our stay!! Your cabin was vey comfortable and the setting was breathtaking. We'd love to come back sometime with a bunch more people maybe in the summertime so we can take full advantage of the beautiful lake and all the space in the cabin! We had a very memorable time - Thank you!!

Our family would like to thank you for such a wonderful break from reality! The cabin is beautiful and comfortable! The scenery was outstanding, we actually saw the Northern Lights from our bedroom window! AWESOME to say the least! We had such a wonderful time, and made warm family memories, that our family all agreed to get together once a year and stay at your cabin! Thank you again...

Many thanks to Sean and his family for a wonderful time snowmobiling at their Echo Trail hidaway. The cabin was great, and just as advertised. It is a perfect secluded getaway for a couple, and up to several couples. Sean is very pleasant to deal with, I would recommend this listing to any one

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Echo Trail Cabin. A light snowfall covered the beautiful setting of pine trees looking out to the lake. The fireplaces kept us warm and cozy, as we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this special place!

The owner was extremely kind and helpful. He kept his distance but was always accessible when needed. The house is very spacious, rustic yet modern, and very near wilderness areas, Everett Lake and many recreational opportunities. It's a 15 minute drive from Ely, far enough to feel like you're isolated from civilization yet close to Ely to be convenient. The starry, quiet nights are awesome. The still of the night is nearly deafening. Extremely well equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. We would not hesitate to return. It's a very beatiful home in a very beautiful area. Thanks Sean for everything!!
