Perron's is located 1 1\2 mile from a boat lovers paradise, offering deep water boat access to freshwater and saltwater fishing. For the avid golfer, Lanark offers the St. James Bay golf course designed by Robert Walker. Nearby Carrabelle, is home to the Big Bend Saltwater Classic (fishing tournament), also the world's smallest police station, and the Crooked River Lighthouse. Other small nearby coastal cites such as St. George Island offer beautiful beaches as well as State Parks. A short drive to Historic Apalachicola offers gift shops, antiques and eclectic gifts.
