As a couple, we rented this unit for Daytona Bike Week 2013. It is a very nice, first floor unit with easy access to the pool and beach. We saw several beautiful sunrises without getting out of bed except to open the shutters. The unit was clean and comfortable. It was very nice to have the full size refrigerator and freezer with ice cube trays. There were plenty of paper products for the week. Plenty of good quality linens/towels to last the week. We have rented the one of the owner's other properties in Gatlinburg, TN and he is a pleasure to work with. The Harbour Beach Resort is a nice place and a very good location; onsite staff i.e. security and management are very nice also. I'm sure it is quiet when the spring breakers leave! Recommended restaurants: Mike's Galley (best breakfast), Ker's Winghouse (Sportsbar, good wings), Bubba Gumps, Joes Crab Shack.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had another great stay at this excellent condo in a super location. The condo was very clean and as described. Being on the first floor, the large pool, hot tub, and beach are only steps away. The resort is clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The owner is a pleasure to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the second time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time. The room was very clean and nice. The staff was very pleasant and there for anything we needed. Steve was great to work with. We will definitely stay again.Recommended for: Families with young children

Totally an awesome studio.....Great communication with owner and accommodations were EXCELLENT. Excellent location, pool, beach and accommodations. Dealing with Steve (& his Dad) was a wonderful experience. The Race got rained out so we called Steve and he arranged another night stay, free of charge. He also waived the check-in time so we were settled in by 10am, almost felt like we got an extra day out of the deal. The listing description and pictures are very accurate. I would recommend this rental and plan on being a regular customer.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Excellent condo and great location. Plenty of things to do for everyone. We found the condo clean, comfortable and exactly as described. All the condo staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The owner was very accommodating and helpful and overall a pleasure to deal with. Wow, we found this great place called Harbour Beach Resort. It is just down the street from Ocean Walk. It is a completely renovated 8 story resort. Our room was on the first floor and we could walk directly out to the pool. The pool area is huge and we could walk right down to the beach. It is also walking distance to the pier and the bandshell. The room was very clean and had a great tropical theme complete wit plantation shutters. The room was very accurately described by the owner. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We'll be back !!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We stayed at this unit last summer and enjoyed it immensely! The location is perfect (right on the pool deck) and so much to do. Parasailing, Planetarium, Lighthouse, Deep Sea fishing and the beach! Owner was a pleasure to deal with. Blinds are great for those of us who like to sleep in! Great "stay-cation" while gas prices are so high!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

A week in Daytona Beach. Wonderful! Our accomodations were very, very clean, decorated with tropical decor and attractive plantation shutters. Linens looked new as well as the sturdy dining set. Bedspreads were warm and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom supplied with plenty of thick good quality towels. The unit was on the ground floor, step out on to a small patio, walk ten feet and jump into a large, gorgeous pool. Dealing with the coureous and helpful owner was a pleasure. The room was exactly as described on the website. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This property was everything advertised and then some. Exactly as the description and photos depicted. The room was very clean, linens and towels were all clean and looked new. The room had a great Florida feel and the way it opened up to a patio and the pool area made it very easy for us to relax and get down to the beach. The owner was very professional and courteous. The pool area was huge and there were plenty of tables and chairs. We loved it here !Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I first want to say that the owner was great to work with and very helpful with all our questions and concerns. We found the condo to be accurately described and very clean. The staff at the complex were also very helpful. We loved this place. The room is on the first level and is great, especially if you have kids. We had access to the pool or beach without having to go through the building. We didn't have to take our beach stuff through the building at all--we just left it all outside. The beach is a little crowded in this area, but that is to be excepted at this part of Daytona. The beach is kept very clean here and the waves were great. There is only one key to the pool/lobby, which is a little inconvenient, but not a huge problem. There is a grocery store close by and several gift shops close by as well. Would I recommend this place to someone else? Absolutely!! In fact, I would stay there again! Great room at a great price!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stay at many condos since we are retired. This was the worst place we ever rented. Floors were all filthy, very noisy air conditioner (window type), bedding was very old and tattered, beds had springs sticking in our backs, no top sheets on beds (only tattered comforter), dining chairs were broken and too rickety to sit on and the toilet was blocked up and not working properly the whole 8 days we were there.....that's just part of what I can remember!! We will never rent this DUMP again.Owner response: We are very disappointed that this guest reported a poor experience. The gues notified us in their last day that they were displaeased. That provided no opoortunity to address their concerns. Based on other reviews for this unit, it is obvious no other guests have had the issues reported by this guest. In fact other guests have specifically cited the excellent cleanliness of this unit. We will strive to make every stay an enjoyable one.

The pictures do no justice to the amount of space you have in the room.Being on the ground level gives easy access to the pool. There were plenty of chair if you dont sleep past 11am which is understandable for any resort/hotel. Clean and well kept. will definalty be staying there again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I did not think the place was a good as stated in the write-up. The maintenance of the condo and cleanliness could have been much better. I would not recommend the property to a friend or family member. There was not enough pool chairs and those that were available were taken by other individuals placing their towels on them first thing in the morning and then not using them. This left other travelers with no place to layout. It was difficult having only one key to enter the pool deck especially with more than myself staying at the condo.Did you find this review helpful?
