We rented this cottage along with the 'main house' for an extended family reunion. The pictures, while beautiful, do not exactly capture the tranquility and beauty of the property. The cottage was impeccable, with every possible amenity available: beach towels, bath towels, welcome basket, videos, board games, beach gear, kitchen necessities, bbq grill.....everything you would need for a relaxing Maui vacation. The owners were extremely welcoming and made you feel as if you've been friends forever. A short drive from the airport, and conveniently located with nearby stores, shopping and groceries were a simple task. And with the beach directly across the street from you, what more could you ask for? Our visit was magical and we'd easily recommend it to anyone and everyone who would love to get away and be in a 'home away from home'. Because it is a private home rental, you are not in a sterile hotel environment - we all wished we could stay forever!

Harry and Linda, I know we've communicated with you multiple times on what a fantastic time we had during our stay at your property in Kihei but we want to let everyone else know also. The 2 bedroom cottage was amazing, the perfect size for a family or in our case another couple, and perfectly updated and decorated. The cottage ammenities including the full service kitchen, BBQ on the deck, flat screen T.V. with cable access and a great library of DVD's, great sized bedrooms, large walk-in shower, beautifully maintained yard and beach across the street made it great for just hanging out at the property if we wanted to. The central location was awesome and gave us the opportunity to experience so much of what Maui has to offer in just a short drive in any direction, from shops in Paia, to golf, shows and resteraunts in Lahaina and Ka'anapoli to the beautiful beaches and sites in Wailea and Makena and too many more experiences to list. We really appreciated your graciousness and availability for questions and willingness to give great suggestions. We can't wait to come back and have already recommended this property to friends back home. Thank you so much for such a great Hawaii experienc and we wish nothing but the best for you.

My wife and I joined another couple and found this cottage to be the perfect Hawaiian vacation home. It has been recently remodeled and was the perfect size for the four of us. The furnishings are excellent, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The huge walk-in shower was a plus, and the gas grill on the deck was like new. The grounds were like a park, and we were just across the street from a great beach we could walk on for miles. We especially liked this central location -- we were no more than 25 minutes from any location on the island -- Wailea beaches, Lahaina entertainment and dining, north shore surfing and Paia shops. We will definately stay here again! The owners were extremely gracioius hosts and made sure our stay was top notch. You will not be dissapointed in this place, and the price is terrific for everything you get with this cottage. Everything was in great shape, like new!

Harry and Linda, Thank you for being such gracious and wonderful hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay at your cottage. It was beautifully decorated and was a great home away from home. We've been to Kihei many times and we've never found a vacation rental as well-stocked as yours. You thought of everything, and then some. One of the best things was close proximity of the cottage to the beach. We were able to get up in the morning, cross the street, and take a relaxing walk on the beach. The huge front yard was perfect for sunning and playing games. All in all, we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. We've yet to return to a Kihei vacation rental twice, but we certainly intend to return to your cottage in the future. What a wonderful, relaxing place to come home to after a day at the beach.

We just returned from our 2nd trip to Maui. We're glad we chose this central cottage location in Kihei. It was close to everything - Lahaina, Wailea, airport and Paia. There is a beautiful 5 mile beach across the street great for walking and swimming. It was never crowded and the water is very clear. The cottage had every amenity needed and then some. The welcome basket with fresh fruit and flowers was another nice touch. Nicely decorated with a touch of 'home'. Did I also mention LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION!!

Linda & Harry: We loved your house -- you thought of everything!!! Our college-age children were thrilled with the flat screen TVs/DVDs in all of the bedrooms, playing poker with the playing cards, and especially the huge park-like yard for playing frisbee. They spent a lot of time sunning in the fabulous lounge chairs out front. We loved the fully functional and handy kitchen, the beautifully appointed bathrooms (we used the jacuzzi bath several times - awesome!), the amazing amount of hot water as no one ever complained of running out and five of us were using the showers nearly simultaneously! The quiet setting close to all amenities, the amazing view of the beach and ocean, the crashing waves at night -- we loved it here. We thank you for your gracious hospitality, your personal attention every detail and your interest in our welfare and the success of our holiday. We appreciate knowing locals for suggestions on restaurants and activities -- you two were great! In all, your property and your hospitality exceeded our expectations and we are delighted. Linda and Harry, We had such a wonderful stay at Hale Ma Ke Kai...the house by the sea. The cottage was everything we wanted and much more than expected! Very clean, comfortable and bright with all the comforts of home. I highly recommend either the two bedroom cottage or three bedroom home as they are both very nice places (thanks for the tour of the "big house"). Thank you again for letting us stay at the wonderful cottage. I'll never look for another place to stay again in Maui as your place was "tops". I've already recommended it to friends and family.
