There is a detached unit located at the rear of the property but they are separate and private from each other. They can be rented together or separately. Across the street is a huge organic veggie garden, which adds to the open, tranquil, private and uncrowded surroundings, yet within blocks of the ocean.
Walking path is approx two blocks (five minutes) to Swammi's Beach and the Self-Realization Center. Close proximity to Scripps Encinitas, Del Mar Fairgrounds, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solona Beach, Del Mar and La Jolla. Easy day trips to Balboa Park, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Legoland and 30 minutes to the San Diego Airport.

We loved our September week so much we want to do it again this September. Dog Maggie loved it, too. The casualness of the cottage was pefect for us. Your personal suggestions were helpful and made our stay even more rewarding. We may try the Guest cottage next time, if it is good for the two of us.
