This 200 year old colonial home overlooking the Damariscotta river is within walking distance to downtown Damariscotta Maine, shopping, restaurants, art galleries, kayaking, boating and many other attractions. It is within 30 minutes drive to Boothbay Harbor, Pemaquid or Bristol which offer the opportunities for sailing on Muscongus Bay, day trips to Monhegan Island, whale, seal and puffin tours and fishing excursions.
The house was build in 1810 by a local ship builder and has views of the harbor and Damariscotta river. The side yard and deck are ideal for relaxing, bar-b-ques and reunions. The interior of the house retains many of the period details. Among these details are six working fireplaces, wide planked pine floors and original molding.
