Walk, don't drive to the beach! We feel we have the best location in Oceanside Village, the beach access is just steps from our door. Our house is located on the cul de sac of Lark, the closest street to the ocean at the corner of Melody Lane and Ocean Blvd. Lark also offers a rear exit from the Village making access quick and easy. Why pay ocean front prices when you will be steps away from the high price tag and still able to enjoy the many amenities of Oceanside Village.
We own two homes, side by side, each has four bedrooms. They may be rented together for large family gatherings. You may email us to see additional photos of this home, as well as our house next door.
Rates listed include all bed linens and bath towels. Avoid the hassle of packing sheets and towels, no need to take the time to deal with laundry and cleaning before you depart for home!
We are confident you will find our smoke-free home comfortable and inviting. The house is equipped with key less entry that is convenient for everyone in your party. Sit on the large front porch with a cold drink and watch the kids play or ride their bikes on the cul de sac.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, the dining room seats six comfortably and the kitchen table seats four. The living room is furnished with sofa, love seat and chair, cable TV, DVD and a stereo. Views of the ocean, just 50 feet from the house, can be seen from the living room, master bedroom and adjoining enclosed sun room. The sun room also has table and chairs for playing cards or board games.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a private bath and television. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed. The remaining two bedrooms each have a double bed, the fourth bedroom does contain the half bath for complete privacy. The laundry room offers a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
Outdoor shower is a great way to wash the sand off before entering the house.
Just steps from the beach, you will find our home a great place to relax and enjoy the many amenities Myrtle Beach offers including: championship golf courses, water parks, Murrell's Inlet with many seafood restaurants, Broadway on the Beach and Market Commons shopping and entertainment and the Garden City Pier is just a mile away!

Why the Owner Chose Oceanside Village
2158 Lark is steps across Ocean Blvd to the beach access. This beach is used by fewer families than the Oceanside Village public beach. We use the amenities of Oceanside Village and also find the Surfside area to be more family-oriented than Myrtle Beach itself, while still being convenient to many attractions.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The proximity of the house to the beach makes it perfect for taking lunch, bathroom and shade breaks during the day. The key less entry on the house also facilitates this. In addition, our family has a few tennis players, so we love that we can always get a court right in the Village. We've had some pretty serious bocce tournaments, too! We enjoy the closeness to the Conch Cafe for lunch or dinner.
Take a break from the sun and walk the beach for a relaxing lunch on the deck overlooking the Ocean.
One mile south of the Beach house is the Garden City Pier, with many fun attractions especially popular with kids and teens.
One mile north of the Beach House is the Surfside Pier and Nibil's Restaurant
Swimming pool (one of two), tennis courts, basketball, bocce courts and a playground
One of the several lakes in the Village great for fishing. The kids always enjoy feeding the ducks too.

The Beach Houses have been in our family for a long time. Our parents bought 2158 Lark and then 2144 Lark (right next door) years ago so their five children could have a family beach home to visit. Our families have grown to include thirteen grandchildren; most of them still spend our week in August with the aunts, uncles and of course Gram and Pap! The younger cousins look forward to getting together to build "sand cities", play mini golf, ride bikes, swim and play board games. The older girls love to walk the beach or go to the Garden City Pier area for ice cream and boys. The "grown ups" love to golf, play tennis, ride bikes and go out to dinner. The ladies have found some fabulous new shopping areas nearby in the Common Market District and the Coastal Mall. And of course there is the yearly "back to school" trip to the outlets! We now rent the houses in the summer months and hope you find them well equipped and comfortable. We like to spend some of our time doing little projects around the house--it's not like work when it's for a house at the beach!
As we mentioned, we love dining out. Murrell's Inlet is only a few miles south of our home so it's very convenient to great restaurants without the traffic of North Myrtle Beach. The photo shows some of the grandchildren in front of Divine Fish House. We hope you enjoy our Beach Houses as much as we do!

Thank you for a great time that we had at your place at the beach. All of our family had a great time and are looking forward to next year. It was so convenient to the beach, we could walk over which was great! I love the amenities that Oceanside Village has to offer.. Thanks again for a great family vacation.

We have rented both houses for our family vacation for several years and love the location, amenaties and houses. The children love the option of the indoor and outdoor pool plus the beach. The playground/water features and tennis and bocci courts are a bonus! We love the extra outdoor shower to squirt away the sand from the beach. Just a few steps from the beach to grab a snack and give the children a bathroom break (which can be an inconvenient "to do" when beaching). We have made some wonderful memories at the Lark Houses and will continue to make that our family vacation/reunion spot.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
