A beautiful, spacious, custom Hawaiian plantation style home has an open and airy floor plan with tropical wicker and island decor. This 4.6 acre private estate overlooks a lush emerald green valley, with private stream, and spectacular ocean views.
Share the experience of whale watching as you relax on the spacious deck with private hot tub. Magnificent panoramic ocean views from the gourmet kitchen, dining area, large sunken family area, and master bedroom with it's large whirlpool spa.
Main: Three bedrooms, sleeps six. One king, one queen, one full, optional rollaway beds, Double futon bed in living ares, optional crib/high chair. Two full baths with tubs and garden showers.
Studio: An attached 450 sq. ft. studio is available with house rental only. An open airy floor plan with living area, king bed, full shower bath, refrigerator, TV, and its own private entrance.
Ideally located between Kalihiwai and Secret beaches, it's a short 1/4 mile walk and/or drive to each.

Why the Owner Chose Kalihiwai
We chose this location because of the privacy, lush grounds, ocean views and the proximity to
Secret Beach (our favorite!)and Kalihiwai Bay beach. We also love the North shore and it's just minutes from all the North shore beaches. The towns of Kilauea, Princeville, and Hanalei have everything we need on a daily basis and the beauty is staggering.
The Unique Benefits at this Home with attached Studio
We mostly enjoy the stunning ocean views from the living, dining, and master bedroom areas.
Also the hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean is a key feature.
The home is very spacious; large kitchen and living areas.
The pool table is a plus.
Another nice feature is the attached studio with a king bed - if you have someone wanting a little more privacy.

My husband and I are from Ohio and are blessed to live on Kauai for half of the year (the winter half of course!) with our 9 year old daughter.
We fell in love with Kauai on our firt visit in 2000 and have adjusted our lives to be able to live there half-time.
