Great place for a family vacation. Spacious and comfortable and fully stocked. Pool was great and beach was wonderful. Great for swimming and kids. We saw whales and swam with turtles right in front of this condo, amazing! Only drawbacks is there were ants (although they just did their own thing and didn't bug us, we just needed to be careful about securing all food in the fridge all the time). And this condo backed onto a fairly busy road so we could hear traffic sometimes, especially from the back bedrooms. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did my 18 month old daughter and 80 year old grandmother.

This was our second fantastic experience here. This condo has it all! There was plenty of space for all of us. Because the condo already had a pack-n-play, stroller, high-chair, and booster seat, we didn’t have to worry about packing or renting any of these items for our kids. The kids (and grown-ups) had a blast! Our most important decisions hinged on whether or not we would go to the beach or the pool, both of which are just steps away ... we usually wound up doing both! Eating meals out on the lanai was fabulous. We were able to enjoy good food and good company overlooking the pool, the Pacific, and the island of Molokai. As she was with our first stay, Sherri was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made everything from booking the place to checking-in really easy, and had plenty of good suggestions and tips to make our stay even more enjoyable. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Mahalo!

We just came back from Maui and our stay in this condo and very much enjoyed it! We stayed with 4 adults and 4 children and there is a lot of space for everyone! Loved the location, so nice and close to all the attractions or just relax on the wonderful private beach and soak in all that beautiful warm sunshine! It was very well equipped for all our needs in the kitchen and water/beach supplies for our children. The beds were very comfortable and it is well maintained! Sherri was very good to deal with and would recommend this condo to others! Thank You Sherri!

We had a wonderful time at this Kahana condo. With four adults and four kids, we were skeptical but this condo far exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do justice to the space this condo offers. Rooms are big and well equipped. We had everything we needed for the kids and an infant. Property was quiet, relaxing and a much more enjoyable experience as opposed to a bigger hotel. Location is perfect, close to grocery stores and shops and within 5-10 minutes of some of the most beautiful beaches in West Maui. A wonderful condo we'd definitely come back to!

From the moment we walked in with twin 9-month old babies, we were perfectly comfortable. The condo was clean as possible, very well stocked with the paper supplies we often have to buy, spacious enough for 4 adults and the 2 babies, and so close to the pool! For once our kitchen was roomy and adequate with all we needed to stay in and have great meals. There was never a time we wished for something that wasn't provided. If we were to return to Maui, this would be the unit I would want!

I guess best to start is from the beginning - the owners were incredible, helpful, accurate and friendly. They have loads of experience with all types of groups/renters from adults to small children - and it shows in the info they provide and how well equipped the condo is ... On to the condo ... yes the pictures are accurate, yes the description is accurate ... but very modest. The view is sooo amazing that photos do not do it justice. The condo is sooo spacious that the photos again just can't give you the full feeling of how large it is. There really are two master suites plus a third bedroom. We had two adult couples in each 'suite' and the kids in the third bedroom and it was fantastic. Everyone had their own bathrooms, privacy and space. Loads of closet space, dressers, and room to move around. The condo is so well equipped with everything you'd ever need in the kitchen and the bathrooms (hairdryers in each, curling iron) and you only need to pack a couple of things in your suitcase because if it does get dirty you can wash it (washer/dryer). There are strollers there, beach toys, boogie boards ... dvd's, board games, loads of music ... too much to cover but trust me you will not be disappointed and will be blown away :) The beach directly in front of the condo is the flattest and calmest that we found on the island which equals very toddler/child friendly. Two minute drive down the road are two other great beaches with a bit more snorkelling and surf and a wider beach front - so the location of the condo can't be beat. Already planning our next trip back to Kahana. Thank you to the owners for offering such a fantastic rental at such a competitive rate. The intimacy of your unit is unmatched on the island and such a nice change from 30 floor high rises or 100 unit townhouse properties. What a great find :) As you can tell I highly recommend this rental ... I've only been home 2 days and have probably sent the link to 50 people so far!!! Go, pack lightly, and enjoy every second.

Yes, our stay could not have been more perfect for our family. We loved the location, the spacious nicely arranged condo, the view, the pool, the BBQ'S, and the nearby beaches. We were a family of 8. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were great. We had two babies so all the extra's provided in the condo for children was so helpful. Highlights of our time there were our hikes, snorkeling at Napili and Kapalua. A special highlight was a slack key guitar concert at the Napili Beach Resort. The intimate friendly concert was a wonderful experience in learning more about the traditional Hawaiian culture. Grammy award winner George Kahumoku Jr. was an amazing storyteller through music. Jeff Peterson was an extremely talented musician. Then on top of that add another gifted musician who masterfully played the ukulele. This beautiful quiet region of Maui beckons us back!

My husband & I took our family to Maui for our 40th anniversary. We were so amazingly happy with this condo. It is everything the website says, and shows, and more. The rooms are large, the kitchen well stocked, and the location is perfect. We were close to all the different activities the kids wanted to do and for the little ones we had the pool and beach right outside our door. Sherri was so helpful and patient with all my phone calls and questions. She referred me to a travel agent who helped me with the airfare and booking the cars. She also helped me book a Luau. The condo was so child friendly with sand and pool toys, highchairs and booster seats, a pack and play and a stroller. If we ever return to Maui (and we all hope we will) we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!!!!

the location was excellent, easy to find and great accomadations. The photos in the listing don't really do justice to the size and serenity of the condo. The property was immaculate, both the condo & the grounds. We found the owners to be more than helpful in response to any and all questions we had. I would defintely recommend this property to my relatives and friends. Close enough to a multitude of restaurants, beaches and activities, yet remote enough to enjoy peace and quiet when desired. The nearby town of Lahaina is a must visit. Only a short ten minute drive away, you can find a multitude of actvities and restaurants for all tastes. Hwy 30 also is right there to access most other parts of the island. Taking a scenic drive in either direction is simply breath taking. The sunsets are spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

This condo is very spacious and the grounds are beautiful. It is located close to shopping and some very nice beaches. All of our children enjoyed the pool and the sandy beach and we used the barbeques almost every night. The owner was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We would recommend this property for large families - there were four adults and three children in our group and we had plenty of room.

The condo exceeded our expectations. The property was spacious and there was more than enough room for our three children. The desription on VRBO was accurate and there were no surprises. It was a great set up with the pool off the lanai and the beach just steps away. The condo was well furnished and supplied with all the amenities to make for a trouble-free vacation. We appreciated the extra touches like the information books and the CD and book library. Sherri was wonderful to deal with and we look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed the condo, and location of the property. We had 5 adults and 2 children in our group, and we had plenty of room to spread out, and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The condo was very clean and well kept. The description on the vrbo site was acurate, but the condo was more attractive than represented in the pictures. The pool and grounds were beautiful and very nicely kept up. We all loved the Feast of Lele as a luau, and enjoyed the shopping at the Whaler's Village. Will return!

The condo was a lot larger than we expected. We went with our two teenage sons and another couple and there was plenty of room. The furnishings were very nice--I could tell a lot of thought went into making everyone feel at home. The best supplied kitchen I've seen. It was wonderful to have our own beach and to see the turtles swimming each morning. Very helpful to have books prepared with ideas on where to eat, things to do, etc. Sherri is a pleasure! We had a little mishap and she was very understanding. I would highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful family vacation that I can remember! Sherri and Steve's home felt like home away from home, even better as we were on Maui. I must say that the pictures really do not do justice to how lovely and spacious the condo is, how beautiful the hibiscus and plumeria are, how spotless and clean the entire unit is. Sigh, we miss it already. Anyone with questions feel free to ask us as we had nothing but a terrific experience.

One of the best vacations that the 10 of us ever had. Loved the view. The paddle out to the surf was worth it. The location was great. The view from Haleakala was spectacular, Makawao and Paia were interesting. Snorkeling at Napoli, Slaughterhouse and Molokini were the best. The road to Hana was a journey in itself. Roy's, Mama's Fish House and Pacific O served us the best fish, most of them we had never heard of before this trip.

This is a fantastic condo for a group of people. We were 3 couples and everyone had their own bathroom which was a real pleasure. The condo is very clean and well kept with everything you need. There was a bit of traffic noise but nothing unbearable. It was all worthwhile when you could sit on the lanai and watch the whales. Also, I spoke with Sherri a couple of times and found her very accommodating. Would recommend this beautiful condo for anyone.

We stayed in this condo as a retirement gift for my mother-in-law. It was two brothers and their wives, one with an infant and mother. This condo was the perfect set up to be all in one place but also have separate spaces and privacy for ourselves. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom (with one room having the "public bathroom" that is accessible from the hallway). The location was also great, within close proximity to many different beaches. I went running every morning from straight outside the door, though there is some traffic on the road, it isn't too bad and sidewalks for part of the run. The beach is just past the pool -which is to say very nearby -and there is a great view of it from the condo where we enjoyed the sunset almost nightly. The condo is fully stocked with dishes, towels, bathroom suplies and even a pack and play for babies. All in all this was an ideal place for our first visit to Maui and if we were to go back, I definitely would rent it out again. Also, the owners were great and extremely responsive and flexible with our needs with a baby in tow!

We stayed at this condo in September 2008 for 10 days, to celebrate our 5th anniversary. Our son/fiancée and daughter/boyfriend joined us at the end of our stay, and the layout gave everyone their private space. The living area is clean and well appointed. The lanai was perfect for evening drinks & games before an evening swim. Bill keeps the grounds, grill, and pool area immaculate. The beach is in the backyard, relaxing and quiet. The fishermen next door invited us for a lunch of fresh fish. Sherri's island recommendations were handy, as were her suggestions for the airport and rental cars. I would love nothing more that to be able to go back to this condo.FYI: there was a missing cable for the TV so Sherri had me call the property managers who brought one over quickly. Also, bring your own hairdryer, since they disappeared before we arrived...in spite of Sherri's attempts to keep one there.

This wonderful condo in Kahana was everything it promised! We had an amazing vacation because of the comfort and amenities that the condo provided. The size of the condo was perfect for our party of 6 (including 2 kids) and having 3 ensuite bathrooms was a luxury! The grounds are beautifully maintained and everything was clean. The location is perfect and is an easy drive to all the great beaches and attractions. Some of our favourite things were surf lessons in Lahaina, dinner & dessert at Roy's (must have the molten chocolate cake!), snorkelling at Napili, the "blowhole", relaxing by the pool, body surfing at Kanapali beach and a beautiful dinner at the Lahaina Grill (well worth it!). We visited the aquarium which was a good half-day trip with our kids (ages 5 &7), and we drove up the volcano. Even though it was a long drive - it was worth it and the kids really thought it was "cool". We would recommend this condo to almost anyone and we hope to visit again some day!

We stayed at this condo in February of 2008 for a wonderful week with four adult children. It was an incredibly comfortable for the 6 of us, and a beautiful place to stay. Highlights were watching the whales from the lanai and sunsets from the beach. It's a small complex and so much more relaxing than the usual timeshares we do, but it still had all the amenities, including a great grill and pool area. The furnishings had a very rich island feel to them, and the decor was quite nice, especially several of the bronze sculptures. An additional bonus was how well equipped the unit was - if any of us had had small children there was all the requisite equipment provided. The beach was a few steps from the unit, and very sandy and quiet, with surf that was great for boogie boarding. Sherri, the owner is like having your own guide there on Maui, and her travel tips made our stay quite fun and entertaining. If I were going to Maui again, this is without question where I would stay. We all loved it!

Our family was fortunate enough to be able to stay at this condo from December 8,2007 thru the 20th. It was on the beach and so convinient to all the activities that we wanted to participate in-surfing, snorkling, swimming and laying on the beach! The accomadations made us feel as though we were in our own home! We grilled out several times which saved us some money. There were several items already there so we didn't have to rent them, like beach chairs, boogie boards, sand matts, coolers, etc. We really felt like this was our home away from home! Believe me, we didn't want to leave this condo because it was wonderful! We'll be back!

Well, what can I say. My husband and I brought along 4 teenagers and we could not have gotten a better place to stay. The condo was emmaculate, it was roomy, it was comfortable, the kitchen was wonderful, the washer/dryer was a definite plus. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and we loved our own "private" little beach and spent most of our time there. We instantly felt at home. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone !!!! We didn't want to leave !!!!! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. It was a wonderful vacation !!!
