Come and relax at a beautiful lake in the mountains of Northern Georgia. Our four bedroom, two and a half bath home offers the perfect retreat for a family vacation. We are located in a quiet cove, just a short boat ride from the main lake.
Enjoy the spacious open floor plan, all with water views, including the kitchen, dining, living room, and recreation room (pool/ping pong table). A patio, a covered eating porch, two covered rocking chair porches, a swing and a hammock await you outside all facing the lake. The house has all new flooring- wood in living spaces and carpet in all bedrooms. Ceiling fans are located throughout with an air conditioning unit in the master bedroom. (At a high altitude, the weather here is great...warm days and cool nights). We do not have air conditioning throughout the house.
Come down to the double boathouse to tan on the upper sun-deck or play on the swim-deck. Paddle our canoe and explore the lake until your arms are tired! This is an inviting cove for swimming, fishing, canoeing, and relaxing. Bring your own boat or jetski to tie to the back side of the dock or rent one.

Four stressed our working women needed a getaway and we stumbled up it in every sense of the word. This is it. We did not have any cell service whatsoever, and that was a great thing! We each had our own room and space to get away from each other if we needed it. What a great, relaxing weekend: breakfast in the screened in house, lunch on the lower dock floating in the water, dinner at the family table and cocktails on the upper boat house deck. Bring sustenance for the entire time you are enjoying the lake breezes. The first road in on Vickers is not for the faint of heart. It is tight, gravel, and ruddy but worth the trip. We had the most relaxing time at this wonderful getaway.
