The Haven is a 100 year-old home on a very quiet street several blocks from Whitman College and Main Street in Walla Walla. This beautifully maintained and updated home has distinct architectural features including Victorian fish-scale shingle siding, spacious front veranda, and second story sleeping porch.
The Haven is designed to provide the ideal Walla Walla experience for families and friends. Don't miss your weekend morning walk to Main Street for the Farmer's Market. For an outing to town to shop, wine taste, or have dinner - take our two-seater pedal surrey. Or take the surrey to one of the local parks and use our picnic supplies for a relaxing Saturday afternoon.
For a quiet evening at The Haven, utilize our Bose home theater system with 32-inch flat screen TV. Select a CD from our library or just plug in your iPod to fill The Haven with music. A vintage piano is also available for your enjoyment. Be sure to check out our collection of family favorite board games.
Invite friends over to enjoy our various entertaining spaces which can accommodate gatherings such as cocktail parties, wine tastings, barbeques, and family feasts. Shake up a martini at our free-standing bar or utilize our distinctive serviceware and place settings and sit down for an elegant dinner. Have a casual meal on the front veranda or in the backyard. Use the gas barbeque; roast marshmellows in the firepit; and play croquet. Help yourself to what is in the pantry and fresh ingredients from our seasonal culinary garden.
At the end of the day, sleep comfortably on our Sealy pillow-top beds with quality linens - King, Queen, Full, and twins.
The Haven is an ideal opportunity for wine enthusiasts wanting to learn more about the Walla Walla appellation! Customized tours and unique events available for Haven guests.
Proximity to Whitman College makes The Haven ideal for inviting your student's roommates and fellow Whitties over for a home-cooked meal.
The Haven can also be used for the day or evening as a corporate retreat. We can assist you with meetings and seminars held at this unique location. Additionally, catering services are available when entertaining clients at The Haven.
