One of our best choices ever for staying in the Destin area. This place is about as secluded as it can get with a winding road from the main highway as you enter. The highway is totally out of sight due to the plants that surround both sides of the drive up to the house. My wife and I never wanted to leave and have already booked a return visit to Antigua in just a couple of months-too long away for us. The closest people to us on the beach were at least 100 yards away and every once in a while someone would walk by on the beach. I could go on and on, but like one writer above, I am afraid so many people would be booking the place we would not be able to get back in ourselves. Plenty of room for a couple of perpetual honeymooners like my wife and myself--probably would only accommodate one family comfortablly, which made it just right for us. The owners answer any questions and concerns almost immediatley and really made us feel welcome--that's why we are heading back in a couple of months.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.

This is the best beach house in Santa Rosa Beach! Great secluded area yet still close to everything. Kitchen is complete with everything you need to cook a great meal. House is very well decorated and offers a comfortable stay. We hope to visit again and would recommend Antigua for a memorable beach vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antiqua. It was magical having the sound of the waves as a constant backdrop. The upstairs and downstairs decks are amazing and give you the best beach view in the world ... both sunrise and sunset! The cottage is clean, comfortable and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again. Even tho it's right on 30A the feeling of privacy is incredible, as it's set way back from the road with much vegetation inbetween. The Gulf of Mexico is literally your backyard and the stars at night are phenomenal. Loved it!
