We have recommended it to a couple of our friends here, so you may get some inquiries from persons dropping our names. Now if we could just figure out how to live there for 6 mths every year!   Well, guess what, we loved it, and inevitably we'll be back. We're already considering the possibilities of returning with our family, which would make us a group of 6 adults and 3 small children. We enjoyed Shakers alot, and the food everywhere actually, we smiled everytime we used public transport, we always had a laugh with Patrick selling his whatevers, (although he was at his best in the mornings!), the Sunday barbeque on Sandy was great fun. And now after all the expectation we're unfortunately back, oh well. So thanks Barbara, it's a great apartment.

  This apartment is beautiful. It is excellently furnished, brilliantly located and has anything you could possibly want in an apartment. The views are sensational and it is spacious enough for 4 adults to confortable spend 2 weeks there. Its a short walk from a range of good bars and restaurants too so has everything possible in its favour. A great place to stay ! Book it !

  We were lucky enough to stay in Apartment 6 for 3 weeks on our honeymoon between June and July this year. From the moment we booked with Barbara I couldnt have asked for more. The communication from Barbara was great and she also included many suggestions for things to do whilst in Barbados which was great. We arrived and was quickly greeted by Monica who showed us to our apartment and gave us all the information we would need. The apartment really was wonderful everything you could want and need was there and the location couldnt have been better. I would without a doubt recommend these apartments and hopefully will revisit at some point. Many thanks Barbara x

  Dear Barbara I have been meaning to write to you since we returned from Barbados to say what a wonderful time we had, and how lovely your apartment is. The photos looked great online, but this can often be deceiving. However I can honestly say our mouths dropped open when we saw the apartment in person. The view from the living room and bedroom was just paradise.

  My husband and I spent 10 fabulous nights in Suite 6 Seascape owned by Barbara Hobson-Trotman and we couldn't have been more delighted. Working with Barbara was easy and she was always prompt to reply to our questions. The unit was very good value and exactly as portrayed - it was very comfortable and had all the conveniences of home plus an outstanding view of the turquoise waters of the Carribean. We appreciated the location not only for its beach location, but also for its proximity to restaurants. The one concern we expressed to the staff was immediately resolved to our complete satisfaction. If you'd like to explore the island renting a car is necessary and Barbara provides lots of valuable information to make your visit to paradise just that - a visit to paradise. We highly recommend Barbara's Unit 6 Seascape for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday.

  Hi Barbara Just got the deposit back thanks very much. Must say that we had a great time at the apartment and unit 2 was first class. Our son has been travelling for some time in South America and he met up with us at St Lawrence and the quality of the apartment as well as St Lawrence itself was perfect. We have a rule that we never go back to the same place but I think we may break our rule soon as we will be going back to St Lawrence Gap!! It was good being there over Easter and we went to Oistins twice. Thanks again Kind regards John

  We stayed at #6 Seascape condo on the 6th November 2010 for 2 weeks. We all really enjoyed this holiday,even more so as it was my 3rd time back to my fav Island, for others it was their first time and they can't wait to return already. Previousley i had stayed all inclusive and wanted to try something different. Doing the self catering was really good and you got a real feel for the Bajan coulture, although eating out can be very expensive but what do you expect its BARBADOS!. Barbara was very helpful and always assisted in whatever she could. The condo was clean and tidy and had views like paradise. My mother in-law and Niece stayed in the front bedroom where a few people have complained about the noise from the clubs oppersite but honestley you can hear the music but not as loud as i thought you would, even a 7 month old baby slept like a log. St Lawrence Gap is the place to be has everything you need. I will return again at some point in the future with out a doubt. x

  Hi Barbara, We had a wonderful trip in the Windies. As you know we were travelling to Trinidad, Guyana and ending up in Barbados on the final leg of our son’s cricket tour. We enjoyed all the countries – but all for very different reasons. The first two were rather challenging for some of our party in terms of adapting to heat, security issues, some d&v problems. Coming to Barbados and entering your apartment was just what we needed at the end of 10 busy days. The apartment was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The view from the patio and bedroom window was wonderful. The ability to close the door and relax was fantastic. But also the ease of being right in the action for choosing where to eat out in the evenings made our stay so easy. The boys were staying at the Rostrevor – so location was excellent for us to jump on the team bus and get to matches in the north of the island. Despite being in the heart of the nightlife I honestly did not have a moments broken sleep during our stay. Monica was excellent and on hand to help with any queries. The apartment was spotlessly clean. All too soon our stay was over! Barbados is a beautiful island and warrants more visits to fully appreciate all aspects of island life. Unfortunately we arrived home on the very morning that all the air space was closed down! Thank you so much for sharing your apartment with us. We had a truly wonderful stay and hope to be back in contact with you for a repeat visit soon!

  Absolutely gorgeous property! We stayed there for a week and didn't want to leave. It's located in the heart of St Lawrence Gap, so we were surrounded by lots of restaurants, nightlife, and nice beaches! I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else the next time i'm in Barbados. Simply amazing.

  We booked this apartment as 2 young (ish) couples as a base as our 1st trip to Barbados, and it did not disappoint. A first floor apartment looking directly out onto the sea and pool, with its own small beach. All the rooms were of great size and the kitchen was of high specification too. The area itself 'The Gap' was lively a across the road were 3 good bars and there was about 8-9 good restaurants within a 2 minute walk. It was a good location for getting into Bridgetown as there was a bus stop on the main road where you could get a Government bus or ZR taxi for 55p into Bridgetown at regular intervals only a 2 minute walk away. There was also another 2 really top beaches just a 5-10 minute walk away. All in all it was a great place to stay and I would recommend to anyone!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  The description was accurate. The unit was clean and well mantained. Service was good. It was located on the GAP. Very easy access for all activities. The only issue was the clubs across the street. The music starts at 11:00pm and stops at 3:00am. You can hear the the music clearly. For younger visitors it would great but not for older visitors.

  As a hard to please hotelier i can not fault the apartment and service offered by Barbara. It over exceeded our expectations of cleanliness, decor, location and comfort. You can not ask for a closer holiday apartment to the Gap! The security was reassuring without being frightening and all the staff were so welcoming and truly friendly. We particularly enjoyed Cafe Sol & Pisces. Take the local 'Reggae' buses for transportation they are great fun! Hire a car/jeep to explore the East Coast for its rugged coastline. I would recommend this to friends/couples and families alike.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
