Just a half of tank of gas away from the Front Range, we are located on Columbine Lake two miles from historic Grand Lake, Colorado, with views of Never Summer Range. We are nestled outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park so you might wake up to a moose browsing nearby.
We are proud of our octagon home and hope you will enjoy the décor, the breathtaking views of the lake, and the fabulous patio for outdoor entertaining and panoramic decks. We are pleased to offer a non-smoking experience. If smoking is detected horrible things can happen.
We are in the middle of White River National Forest and the fire hazard can be extremely dangerous. Please comply with fire restrictions and regulations.
Parking is limited. No more than three vehicles maximum No on-road parking allowed.
No smoking and no pets please.
Summer days can be filled with hiking, biking, golf, and exploring the park. OR read a book on the dock and enjoy lunch on the patio under the pines. Recreational opportunities abound!
Autumn highlights include elk rutting season in Rocky Mountain National Park and scenic drives with spectacular photo opportunities on the 34 mile trip over historic Trail Ridge Road.
In the winter, 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and sledding are also available! Or relax fireside with hot cocoa and a board game.
Nearby Grand Lake has a full slate of seasonal activities: special events, shopping (do not miss Humphrey;s Cabin Fever), dining, fishing, boating, theatre productions, mini golf.
