This property is very comfortable and relaxing with a bright and cheery Hawaiian atmosphere. The furnishings and color scheme let you know you are at a tropical getaway. The 2 story townhouse has a large feel with a brilliant 20 foot ceiling with fan in the living room and nine foot ceilings throughout the rest of the villa. Master suite is on the second floor and affords nice privacy. High speed wireless internet in the villa. We are now more kid friendly, we have added a foldaway crib/playpen, blankets and a highchair to accomodate those with small children.
The kitchen is fully furnished for the casual to formal dinner including service for ten. State of the art appliances and granite countertops including a breakfast bar with stools and a formal dining area.
There are two private lanais with comfortable furniture; great for morning breakfast or quiet reading. There is one bedroom/bathroom downstairs and the master bedroom and bath is upstairs which affords maximum separation for quests. A pull-out queen in the living room allows for more sleeping.
Five minutes away from quiet and beautiful Anaeho'omalu or A-Bay beach area where there is white beach sand, snorkeling, surfing, scuba and just beaching. The Kings Shops with our favorite restaurant, Roy's; and Louis Vuiton, Starbucks, the country market and Dairy Queen.
This is a golfers' paradise with 2-18 hole championship golf courses; our renters can get a discounted rate by mentioning the unit number. The villa is on the 15th fairway and looks out to the Beach Course. There is an ocean view and a mountain view.
For the adventurous there is downhill skiing or snowboarding in the winter months; you will need to bring your own gear. There is great snorkeling with many turtles and hundreds of varieties of fish. Surfing is good with 3 - 10 foot waves most of the time. Snorkeling with the Manta Rays is an unusual and incredible event held nightly near Kona about 20 minutes away.
If you would like to try a different adventure there are donkey rides at sunset and one of the most powerful telescopes in the world on the top of Mauna Kea which is open to the public.
We are happy to share our piece of paradise with you and we will try to make your stay enjoyable. |
