If you have not stayed at our condo yet, you have not taken advantage of the best value in Villamare. We strive to keep out unit up-dated and up-graded with new additions every year. In October 2009 we have added the most comfortable, wrap around you, microfiber sofa and love seat. If you are prone to falling asleep watching television, this will not help.
In addition, a top of the line king mattress set, (14" Thick), and box spring has been up-graded in the master bedroom.
No more keys!!! Can't get locked out, a new keyless entry lock has been installed October 2009.
We may not be the lowest price, but we are the best value.

General:
Two bedroom, two bath, Oceanside, continuously remodeled villa. King in the master, two queens in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Updating has included new living/dining room furniture, bar stools, chandelier, artwork, and accessories. All new tile flooring . New Washer/dryer in 1/07, new Kitchen 2008, new vanities in both baths- 2008
Bedroom updating includes all new bedding new bedspreads, valances, verticals, artwork and accessories. The unit has been recently repainted. New flat panel TV in Living room. Three TVs, DVD player, two VCRs. Guest bedroom has mini refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave.
The décor is primarily cottage style with a color scheme of blue, yellow and white. Balcony, with newly purchased deck furniture, overlooks attractive landscaping. The living area and master bedroom have access to the balcony in the "A" side. The guest "B" side has its own private balcony. Both the "A" and "B" sides are accessed off a central foyer. Master bedroom has a soaking tub, and a separate shower.
This is a wonderful, vacation villa, with a bright, "beachy" flare. In addition to the beautiful condominium, Villamare offers many free amenities, and you are just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean! Tennis at Palmetto Dunes Racquet Club. New Villamare health club with all new equipment and indoor pool.

Why the Owner Chose Villamare
We had never been to Hilton Head before our trip in 1994. I knew from the location that it was going to be a place that we would both fall in love with. Our interests are in golf, ocean sports, and tennis. The location at Villamare is within walking distance to three awesome golf courses, twenty five tennis courts and a stone through to the beach. In addition Shelter Cove , about 2 miles away offer boating possibilities. When we first arrived in Palmetto Dunes it looked like, "it doesn't get any better then this", let's start looking for a place. We bought before the end of our trip and have been going there ever since.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
What's unique about Villamare? Villamare has many great offerings:
1) Want to work out, go down to the state of the art exercise room, not just a couple of machines but an entire gym of the latest equipment.
2) Weather is bad, go to the indoor pool with the kids and let off some steam.
3) Like to walk the beach, I have never walked the whole beach, it is about 10 miles long and great sand to walk or ride a bike, yes you can ride a bike on the beach.
4) Want to sail, the hotels next to Villamare rent various ocean toys including Hobie cats.
5) Don't feel like going far for dinner but want a first class meal. Walk to Alexander's and have a gourmet dinner.
6) Looking for entertainment, the Marriot and Hilton both have music in the afternoon and or at night and are right next to Villamare..
7) Just want to chill out, sit on the deck and enjoy the view.
8) More restaurants and entertainment, go to Shelter Cove and enjoy, fish, Mexican, Italian, or one of the gourmet restaurants, you can't go wrong. The Hilton Head Arts center is also right at the entrance to Palmetto Dunes and offers plays all year long.
9) If you don't like any of the above, Hilton Head is not the place to go.
Being in Palmetto Dunes puts you in the middle of the island, nothing is very far away.

Hi, we are Joan and Joe Maher. We live in Wenham,MA, but travel frequently to both Hilton Head and Naples, FL. Joan is a retired teacher while I am retired engineer/ General Manager of an electronics firm.
Currently we have the pleasure of our own two children as well as twin grandaughters 4 years old and a 7 year old grandson.

We rented for a month in the fall of 2011. We go down each year with a group of friends to golf 9 holes daily and eat every other night at the fabulous HH early bird dinners and to walk on the beach. The unit was easy to maintain and the furnishings were comfortable. Each week we had a different set of friends stay with us and they loved their guest bedroom and we all liked the privacy it provided. The owners provided useful information and were helpful with any questions. We would recommend this unit to family and friends.The location is ideal for access to the beach and shopping and all activities and to all our friends located at other plantations.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in your condo. The location is perfect, especially when you have kids! You only need to walk a few steps to be in the beach or pool. Everything is within a short drive (Wendy's, restaurants, shopping and supermarkets). The Mariott is right next door and has great cocktails and family movies by the pool at night. I would definitely stay at your condo again.

Had a wonderful vacation! Your condo is perfect for our family. Very clean, spacious and decorated true to pictures. We were so comfortable the whole week. Property is very well maintained, a beautiful view to drink our coffee in the morning. Hope to come back to Villamare soon.

This is a nice condo for the price. We have rented this unit for the past two years. Love that this unit has the tile throughout. We are going back again in August.

Properly described, well maintained and owner very responsive. Loved the new bed, In the one instance needing attention, response was almost immediate and solution was perfect. If you are looking for a sun exposure, this unit because of the positioning of the unit gets very little sun on the exposed side. Scenery is excellent. You can trust everything you see in the photos. Second bedroom is a self contained unit with complete privacy and necessary amenities.
