Enjoy a cup of morning coffee on the covered porch and prepare for a day at the lake. There are only seven homes between you and city beach (about a 3 minute walk.This lifeguard-staffed beach is located within minutes of the world-class Coeur d'Alene Resort as well as the family-friendly city park.
The "City Beach Brownstone" is located in the prestigious "Fort Grounds" neighborhood. This 1905 stone home was completely "re-invented" in 2006 taking care to maintain the homes heart and soul. Hardwood floors are gleaming throughout the home on both levels. This well-appointed home includes luxury linens, jetted soaking tub, granite counters, original clawfoot tub, uncluttered contemporary art, comfortable furniture, and two stories to spread out your family.
If you are considering a family vacation this home puts you steps away from the beachfront excitement yet surrounded by a tranquil neighborhood. North Idaho College summer plays are an easy walk away as well as the Castle Play Structure in the city park.
The famous Coeur d'Alene golf course with it's island green is nearby as well as Tubbs Hill, Parasailing, great restaurants, art galleries, and shopping.
The main floor bedroom has a queen luxury bed, the two bedrooms upstairs have one luxury king bed and a luxury queen bed. All beds are dressed in similar bedding to create a upscale hotel feel for the guests.

We stayed at the Brownstone for a few nights on short notice. Dan was excellent and fit us in for 3 nights. Very close to the water and park. Our 20.5' boat and trailer fit right onto the driveway with no problem. We will be back next year Dan with a little more notice this time!!
Recommended for:Families with young children.
