Every room has been professionally decorated in fresh cheerful beach themes, and there is absolutely no secondhand furniture you find in many beach rentals. Bring your friends and family to the beach and you'll never want to leave this beachhouse, walking right out from the house to the sand. Enjoy water views from numerous decks, or from the living room or master bedroom. A screened-in porch with table and chairs is perfect for dining outside, and you can walk out of the house and relax by the calm bay - the perfect place for your kids to swim. This home is located in the community of Cape Shores hosting a community pool and tennis courts, available to all renters. Cape Henlopen State Park, right next dooor to Cape Shores but along the Atlantic Ocean has own beach with a section popular with surfers (Herring Point). The state park also has a concession stand, bath house, fishing pier, outdoor basketball court, frisbee golf course, circuit bike trail, a WWI watchtower you can climb up the stairs to enjoy the views (if you have the stamina), and is known for its birdwatching, nature trails, and interactive Nature Center. You can also ride your bike to historic Lewes - less than 2 miles away and full of charming old Victorian houses, quaint shops and galleries, and excellent restaurants. Your visit would not be complete without a trip to King's Ice Cream on Second Street.
