Fabulous place, fabulous area !

Family of 4 staying in March 2012. The condo was super, it was clean, well maintained, furnished nicely, and the deck overlooking the ocean consumed many hours of my day as it was a fabulous place for a cold drink. The unit has A/C, but I don't know why it would be needed as there is a perfect breeze at all times even when its 85. Sleeping at night was fabulous as you hear the ocean crashing all night, just wonderful ! Isabela is a super nice small town. A few blocks away is a plaza with some bars and restaurants (go to El Anzuelo) that are a hoot on Sunday eve, the locals are so nice, very friendly, and like to have a good time. You never hear noise though in the condo, the ocean is the sound. One thing, we got a door knock at 10:30pm the first night we we were there, it was the resort security letting us know we had left the dome light on in our rental car, and he stayed as we went out to shut it off as he didn't want us to have a dead battery in the morning !! That was awesome to me, many places we have stayed would have ignored it. Go do Batey Zipline (it was fantastic), eat at Pizzeria El Indio towards Utuado afterwards. Crash Boat beach is very fun, great food vendors and good snorkeling, Shacks Beach was great, the beach in front of the unit is great, go find the blowhole. No worries here, the owners were great to deal with, and the trip went off without any issues.

My husband and I travel all over the world and the last thing we want is to have a poor or below standard place to rest on our vacation. Great unit, a bit hard to find but once you are there it is great. Beach across the street with lots of local places to eat. Owner very helpful in giving additional eating suggestions and activity suggestions. Love the beach chairs and used them daily. Very clean and comfy. Love the weather.

Directly on front of the beach

I needed a condo where I and my family could have a peaceful time but at the same time near to places to have fun. My parents are old people. The balcony directly on front of the beach and the swimming pool, was perfect for my mother that has some difficulty to walk and the bars and fish market less than a block away was perfect for my father that love to explore and to party. The process to rent was a lot easier than I thought it could be and Myra was in communication with us all the time. Also gave us very clear instruction so we knew where everything was and never felt lost. The condo is spacious and confortable. There is beautiful view and more towels than you can need. The kitchen was very clean and with all the appliances and utensils you may need. And even has things you may not think you are going to need too. In case something still missing, less than five minutes away, there are supermarkets and store that for sure you will find what you need. The master bedroom has a bed that is a dream. The other beds are okay. Also, the complex has tennis court and gym so I could maintain my physical fitness during my staying there. Right on front there is a walking trail along the beach and between bushes that is so long that you may need to rent a bike if you want to see it all. We are looking for dates to go back because four days did not felt like enough.

Myra's apartment in Isabela is the perfect antidote to a stressfull life. The apartment is spacious and well appointed adding to overall comfort. Wake up in the morning to the sound of the ocean. Leave the day watching the sky turn brilliant colors as the sun sets over the ocean. Not far away is a fishing market to enjoy the fresh catch of the day. Feel like a local and witness the Puerto Rico of old while still enjoying the comforts of a great condo. The town's square is what Pueto Rico use to be with great activities for all. This is no doubt the best place to have a wonderful peacefull vacation.

Everytime we go we fall in love with it all over again.The small plaza near us just opened two new wonderful restaurants.We sat on the beach having our cocktails enjoying the sunset every night.This is such a little paradise and we truly enjoy sharing with our guests.

Wonderful Isabela!

We came to Puerto Rico because one of our daughters was finished a medical rotation at the Coast Guard Base. The complex was well-maintained; the guards friendly and helpful. The views from the condo were heavenly. Imagine having your morning coffee listening to and watching the crashing waves. What a treat to have those same lovely sounds lull you to sleep at night. We took advantage of the walking path in front of the complex almost daily and took walks on the beach. The beaches were not too crowded and we loved having our privacy. Did not see a single t-shirt shop or souvenier shop in Isabella or the surrounding communities. Yeah!!! The local people were kind and helpful. The condo was spacious and very homey. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with all the tools, gadgets, and dishes. We spent many hours in the pool just enjoying ourselves. The Coast Guard Base was not far away so we were able to meet our daughter after work each day and see some of the other sights of the area. Myra and Jerry were wonderful to work with and I have not hesitated in recommending a Puerto rico vacation to our friends.

Relaxation at it's Finest!

This rental was just perfect for our family of 5! The unit was exactly as I expected from the pictures, and the beach is truly beautiful (and very private in August). There were never more than five other people within site of us while we relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the warm, gentle surf of the atlantic. The complex is secure and very clean and well maintained. Myra is a pleasure to deal with, and very prompt with her communications. Book it, you will not be sorry!

My husband, 18-year-old son, 24-year-old daughter and her boyfriend and I stayed in this condo for a week and had a wonderful time! The condo is very spacious, clean and well-equipped. The only thing we had to shop for was food we prepared in the kitchen, which was very clean and well-maintained. The view from the balcony is spectacular! When we stayed in June, we practically had the pool and beach to ourselves. We did have some rain, but it never really spoiled our plans. We ate at a lot of the restaurants close to the condo, and never had a bad experience. We loved eating out on the open air patios. My daughter and her boyfriend and son enjoyed the local music and dancing on Sunday evening. We would suggest that anyone visiting Puerto Rico plan on visiting Old San Juan. It is very interesting and beautiful.

Wonderful Property and People

Rented this property for the month of May 2010, as a place to base our search for property in the area. It was simply wonderful. The people were the best part of the entire trip, they are so friendly and helpful. You will need a car to see the area and the shops and tourist sites, but loved it and would go back again. Definitely take in the Arecibo Observatory; Crashboat Beach; and the Bacardi factory in San Juan. The drivers are a real challange, but got used to it as the days progressed. Go to the convenience store on Friday for the entertainment and the singing.

It really was a paradise!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked out. We have stayed at a variety of hotels and paradores on the island in the past. It was great to have a kitchen for breakfasts and snacks, plus privacy for my sister who joined us for the trip. The complex is well maintained, clean and secure. The location of the complex was great for being in a central location for day trips around the island and the unit was in a prime location for watching and listening to the ocean, since it is on the second floor and faces the ocean. The north coast has great surf. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed and there were plenty of towels. The washer and dryer were handy. We drove 1000 miles during the week because of all the places we wanted to see. The parking lot was well lit and felt safe, even at night. We enjoyed eating at a variety of of local restaurants and really enjoyed the Pollo Tropical chain where we found a great variety of Puerto Rican food at resonable prices. Sabroso! We also ate lots of Rex ice cream, which is a local chain with stores in Isabela, Aguadilla, and Mayaguez, among other places. Back to the diets..... Myra was a pleasure to work with. We would not hestiate to rent thru her agian. This worked out better than renting homes thru realtors. Thanks Home Away and Myra!

Puerto Rico Paradise

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for 2 weeks. The view and the sound of the surf can not be beat by any place that we have stayed in anywhere else. The beaches in this part of Puerto Rico are beautiful and this place is located so that you can easily take day trips to San Juan, El Yucan, Ponce, and other parts of the country yet still be away from the large cities and feel a sense of serenity. The place was very clean and well furnished with comfortable dining room, living room, and patio furniture. We found the kitchen had everything one needed to cook at home and there were some very good resturants close by. We especially enjoyed the blender which we used to make our daily Pina Colada's with the rum we purchased from the Bacardi Rum Factory. You can't ask for anything more than to drink Pina Coladas and watch the great surf or sit pool side basking in the sun.

This is truly paradise. The weather was spectacular and the beaches are white, sandy and peaceful. We enjoyed staying at this condo because it is conveniently located, clean and equipped with everything you need. The restaurants that Myra suggested were wonderful and we also enjoyed eat in. The place is neat and very secure. We felt safe at all times. Everyone is friendly and willing to answer any of your questions. We will definetly try to make a return visit soon. What we like the most about Puerto Rico is the warm weather. Usually the weather can be sporatic in January or February but we had the best weather of all of our vacations. We highly recommend this condo to everyone. It will surpass of all of your wants and needs.

This condo was just perfect! We enjoyed watching the surfers at Jobos Beach and eating at the local restaurants. At the apartment you wil find anything you usually have at your own place and even more (like extra towels everywhere). The place is very clean and we found all kind of brochures and travel books for the area. There was enough room for a family of 6. Myra, the owner, was very helpful and accomodating to our needs. We strongly recommend this place to anyone!

I want to say that this was my first time renting via Internet, i have to say i was very skeptical. Myra the owner provided all necessary info that i need to make me feel comfortable about my decision. The place is everything that you see on the website and more. You will not be cheated. I will definitely come back. It was just like home, except for the pool and beach...ha-ha

Great access to the beach, outstanding view, the condo is setup beautifully, kitchen was well equipped. Everything was setup for a family or a romantic getaway. Pool and exercise room were fantastic. Condo security was great. Overall I rated it as excellent.

Gorgeous Views

The view from the balcony was spectacular. We rented the condo at the end of February and the weather was wonderful. The property was clean and well equipped. The owner provided excellent service and provided information for activities and restaurants. We would highly recommend the property.

Isabela is beautiful

We had a great time at Myra’s home in Isabela. I repeat earlier comments about the cleanliness of the entire complex [pool, etc] as well as the apartment. The balcony is even better that the pictures because it is the entire width of the apartment, including the front bedroom, not just the living room [this is great if you have several people]. The particular reason we chose this apartment over others is that, as the pictures well indicate, there is excellent light next to each chair, sofa, and bed for reading, especially, of course at night. This is not something that is often provided, surprisingly, which has in the past caused me to pack *headlamps* [yes!] for reading in poorly lit places. Happily, Myra’s was great in this respect. I f this is important to you, this is a great plus. Also, all of the living room furniture was *extremely* comfortable - again, not always the case. The sound of the pounding surf is amazing, and still plays in my head. Beautiful views and beautiful beaches. We cooked in a lot – very well equipped kitchen. We toured Aricebo Radio Observatory and Rio Camuy Cave Park, as well as other beach communities. Myra is very reliable and conscientious. Enjoy!

A True Paradise

This is the second visit my husband and I made to this PuertoRican paradise. We were not disappointed. The view, the condo, its cleanliness and ameneties and its wonderful location, made this second visit as special as our first. The location is perfect. It is close to the airport and yet right on the beach and close to restaurants and many attractions. It was very easy to deal with Myra, the condo owner.

Yes, it is paradise!

We visited Isabela for our son's wedding (which was absolutely wonderful!) This condo was everything we were told it would be and more! Exceptionally clean and well-equipped and the staff for the complex were very friendly and accommodating. Our favorite place was the balcony, very relaxing with genuinely beautiful views. We didn't get a chance to do much exploring since the entire week was taken up with beach, pool and pre-wedding parties, but we are looking forward to going back to see what we didn't see. We had wonderful meals at Luna and Ocean Front restaurants. El Pescador by the kiosks across the way was very good (the sangria was delicious). We definitely would go back to stay at this condo - Myra was very easy to deal with and everything went very smoothly. We recommend that you discover the 'other side of Puerto Rico.' You will be amazed at how beautiful it is - clean, clear water, serene atmosphere. We did survive driving through the town of Isabela, narrow roads, few stop signs and no street signs, but it was an experience and we got quite good at it especially since it was the only way to Wal-Mart! We already miss our view of the ocean and look forward to returning.

In the condo we have a book which contains menus and brochures of places of interest in the area. The town of Isabela is a quaint small Spanish style town. This is not a large metro area like San Juan. It is clean, quiet and filled with small shops with a local flavor. If you love the Ocean , beach and beach activities this is for you and your family.

isabella vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in Isabella, Surfed and snorkeled everyday and enjoyed the many different beaches . The restaurants close to the condo I can't say I would recomend , but the roadside vendors had deliscous "pincho's"(meat or fish on a stick) and the local music played on the weekends was fun. The staff at the condo were very friendly and kept the grounds very nice! We hope to visit again........ NC family

Isabela Puerto Rico-Paradise Found!

We recently returned from a great stay at this very safe and secure condo. We had 4 in our group with room for 2 more. The condo was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked as we made many meals at home. All of the appliances worked great, and we made use of the blender many times! Myra and Jerry had directions and many important facts documented at the house for all visitors. Our husbands surf, and the condo was centrally located to all area breaks. If I had to find something negative, I would say the mattresses weren't the best, but certainly acceptable for a week's stay. The view and sea breeze were magnificent! Don't hesitate-plan your trip today! You won't be disappointed!

just simply excellent

We brought my parents (nearly 80) and our son (2.5 yrears old) here for a week. It's very safe (gated/security guards), clean, and quiet. But a perfect beach (even a protected shallow area perfect for toddlers) is just 5-10min walk away, and the pool is 1 floor below. A cute little bar/convenience store has local musicians several nights a week, just within earshot (500m away). Myra is efficient, friendly and honest. I recommend this this condo to anybody! cheers...
