Enjoy a glass of wine in the outdoor hot tub or the year-round mountain views from three levels of decks. The light-colored wood walls, rustic wood floors and glass-front wood stove lend a casual atmosphere to the newly built cottage. With air conditioning and central heat, you are always comfortable no matter the season.

The adventurous can hike down to the rushing creek and read a book under the forest canopy. The less-adventurous can spend their time enjoying the flora and fauna that envelope the cottage. The even-less-adventurous can sit on the couch and watch TV on one of the two surround-sound equipped, home theatre systems or hook their laptops to the high-speed wired/wireless Internet access. For those with no sense of adventure at all, Cedarwood South features quiet, comfortable bedrooms with only the rustling of trees to interrupt your slumber.

Ellijay, Georgia is located approximately 90 miles from Downtown Atlanta. The Ellijay town square features many interesting shops and restaurants. Further north, the city of Blue Ridge entertains guests with many more galleries, shops and restaurants. Outdoor sports, including hiking and mountain biking, are popular in the area.
