Within a few feet of the house are lush green lawns, the swimming pool, tennis court, & the bike/hiking path. Just beyond the head waters of Paulina Creek & the boardwalk through aspen groves to the Big Meadow. Handy is the Big Meadow Golf Course Club House and Lodge area. From the house there are cherished views of Black Butte, aspen and fir groves, expansive lawns & Big Meadow Golf Course fairways. Take evening walks in aspen groves & on the course. Our home is popular with our regular families who love the house, want amenities convenient. Also couples who like a quieter location,in this private special neighborhood. We are fortunate to have the same families back each year who appreciate & love the home as we do. Our Red Clover Cabin is book a year to months in advance.

The bedrooms are on 2 upper levels, nicely separated from each other. A king bedroom, queen bedroom, & twin bedroom. Each attractively decorated. The great room is on the main level, off a spacious deck. Pine antiques and special things that have been in the family for some time, comfy attractive upholstered furniture, new beds, high quality linen. A total kitchen remodel, a joy to work in, the best in appliances, attractive antique honed granite counters surround the Jen-Aire gas range, well supplied with quality cookware. Black Butte is right out the windows, cook and dine.
Cable TV, DVD, stereo, internet, WiFi, long distance phone. The deck off the main great room area is furnished with comfortable quality outdoor furniture, a gas barbecue. The house has wonderful light, open to walls of windows & skylights, outside decks and the spectacular natural surroundings. Amenities, so handy, swimming pool, tennis courts, bike and hiking trails, a year round creek, aspen groves, and the big meadow, all within feet of the house. The neighborhood is considered prime! Same families return over and over each year. Homes in this area rarely change hands.

Our family of 4 has just spend a delightful week in the Red Clover Cabin on Black Butte Ranch. We are sad to depart. This week has been heaven. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated with quality furnishings, lovely, top quality linens, a kitchen that is a delight to be in and use! It's a home that is a treat for the eyes, and is comfort filled for the soul! Out every window are views to behold. Spent quiet hours on the deck reading, with good music, while my children were in a golf clinic. Late afternoon's we enjoyed discount rounds of golf as a family! 10 feet away is a large spacious lawn, and on the knoll sits a private neighborhood swimming pool on the edge of the Golf Course. Early morning we walked a short way to the Big Meadow filled with cows, horses and the sunrise. In the evening we sipped our wine by the year round Paulina Creek! All there within feet away, this is a very special Ranch neighborhood. The owner's are attentive, oversee the house to make sure things are in 1st class welcoming order. They are handy for any needs that may come up. They guided us to Camp Sherman for a most delightful afternoon and evening dinner, AND they gave us Bend shopping and dining tips. They lovingly care-take this home, and it shows! It is booked for the coming summer months early, we have request 2 weeks for next summer already!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We have been Ranch homeowner's since close to the beginning of the Ranch development. We spent our adult lives in Marin County/ San Francisco. Our dream was to flip our lives, ample quality time here, and less time in our urban setting. We are living our dream with a full wonderful life on Black Butte Ranch. Our home is a large lodge style home, year round filled with friends, and family when they can break away. We are both active in the Sisters community. We hike, bike, kayak, and piddle around @ golf. We love caring for our Red Clover Cabin/Home, using an interior decorating eye, always on the lookout for English pine antiques, Northwest art, attractive decorator items, Northwest travel books, etc. We cherish the Red Clover Cabin, and love sharing with family and friends.

Our family has spent most every summer of our lives here on BBRanch. We live full time near our Red Clover cabin, close enough to oversee and take loving care of this wonderful home/cabin. It is perfect for our family visiting, and some rental use for our favorite families who come year after year. What joy to have them enjoy the Ranch as our family has had the great privilege. A history of wonderful memories are made here! We are lucky enough to be in one of the most sought after locations on the Ranch, where there are private amenities for this special little neighborhood. Homes here are rarely for sale. We maintain the Red Clover Cabin beautifully, as one would want their own home. Quality first! Movies, games, a full library of leisure reading, as well as books on the Northwest, Central Oregon, an American Indian Book Collection, all for your enjoyment.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our lovely home is managed entirely by the owner's, it is not offered by a 'Rental Agency' which charges more and is not as 'hands on' in total overseeing! We have most of the same families returning each year. They are developing a rich family BB Ranch history here, as our family has. Young children learning to ride a bike, or a horse, hiking, and exploring, hours in the pool, on the tennis court, all within feet of the house. 1st rate golf, instruction for all ages. The golf clinics are renown. Winter downhill skiing within minutes and X Country skiing out the door. Or quiet time on the deck, or by the fire inside. Memorable meals together. And so much more. Exploring the offerings of greater Central Oregon. What joy to see our families joying and savoring the unique wonder's of BB Ranch, as we do.
