Just back from a 8 day stay in the lovely Captain's Suite. ALL THESE COMMENTS ARE CORRECT. Best location on and view of the beach, beautifully equipped condo, and an owner who doesn't miss a trick! Champagne on arrival, fresh coffee, a refrigerator stocked with spices and condiments, a super Weber grill on the gorgeous patio, the best bed and linens I've ever encountered in a rental unit. Wiil patiently and promptly answered every question, and followed up to make sure all was as promised.

Comments: Will, We have returned safely from your fantastic Captains Suite! Thank You again for allowing your paradise to be enjoyed by our family! Although it was off season for guests and many top food destinations were closed we still greatly enjoyed the following (in order) and ate lobster 5 out of 7 nights (in season for lobster)! Your place is so comfortable and easy to call home the minute we walked in the door and witnessed the ocean and beach view, very comfy. My wife and I enjoyed wine on the beach, on the balcony and around the pools, so calming and such a stress reducer! As many before us have stated, the RWI's green grounds are the best on Grace Bay. Thank you for suggesting to rent a car,it made our trip complete. We had a blast snorkeling at Smith's and Coral Gardens Reefs - easily accessible and fun for the kids. But our most enjoyable escape by far was finding Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay - WOW - I never thought such secluded, calm and the most turquoise water truly existed until we landed at these two spots. Taylor Bay has to be one of, if not THE most beautiful place in the World! Deck at Seven Stars - Top team of staff, best view and night time setting with live music, along with the best food - what a great resort as well Coco Bistro - what a setting and top tier food! Bay Bistro - our sand table was rained out but we still enjoyed fabulous plates and Juniors excellent drinks at the bar Da Conch Shack - the fun atmosphere along with great conch, lobster and the islands best rum punch is worth the find Tiki Hut - Ribs, Grouper sliders and Coconut Lobster are tops Mango Reef - great view and live music - slightly above average dinner Fresh - Breakfast sandwiches are very enjoyable brought back to your balcony Flamingo Cafe/Ricki's on the Beach - beach walk right past Club Med offered good apps and cold drinks in a great beach setting Hemmingway's - lunch fish tacos were excellent Pelican - great breakfast but dinner was just OK Salt Mills Diner - breakfast was not good The kids loved Giggles ice cream a couple nights THANK YOU WILL!

I am almost afraid to give my review because "the word will be out!" This condo is wonderful (only 78 steps to the sandy beach) and the resort is beautiful. Will (the owner) was so helpful answering all our island questions. The balcony view is like a postcard, especially at sunset. Everything you need for a memorable vacation is in this condo. It was spotless, plenty of towels, great water pressure, comfortable bed, coolers for the beach, fully equipped kitchen, and a wonderful resort staff. We are already saving our $$ to return !

Will was such a pleasure to work with to rent this beautiful unit. He was responsive, professional in every way (email contact, keys, instructions, amenities provided), and honest in his representation. We stayed in The Captain's Suite on Grace Bay for two straight weeks (week of Christmas and NY, 2010/11). The location of the Royal West Indies resort on Grace Bay is spectacular (one of the early resorts to be built here, so they got one of the best parcels of land). While the resort is very well maintained and clean with lush foliage (almost too much!), building 1 (which is where this unit is) is the best and only beach front unit with a 180 degree view of the ocean. The top floor (3rd floor) location allows an open air balcony where were ate most of our meals. This was by far one of the best units and locations on the island (we walked the beach up and down to compare other beach front properties). Resort staff was friendly; towels, beach chairs, pool, hot tub all complementary. Mango Reef restaurant moved from Royal West Indies (this resort) to The Alexandra (45 min walk down the beach). Didn't eat at the replacement restaurant (Pelican Bay) so no comment. The unit itself is very well appointed. TV and DVD players in the living room and bedroom. Local phone (complementary) to make reservations for dinner or snorkeling or golf or taxi service, complementary long distance phone (vonage) to wish family and relatives (wish you were here!), in unit washer/dryer, well appointed kitchen with all amenities, including small things like ketchup, sauces, spices left by others or provided by Will. The cleaning lady Hazlin was very nice and efficient. Enjoyed dinner at Coyaba (but very expensive, like $100 per head all in). Others such as Mango Reef, Lemon were good($60-80 per head), but not great. Pizza Pizza was pretty good (Junkadoo festival that evening, so very lively just outside). Golf at Provo Golf Club was walking distance (and a very well maintained course for an island destination, played 5 rounds with my two boys and had a blast!), played tennis also at Provo Golf Club, snorkeled outside Coral Gardens resort (not great, suggest taking a special purpose snorkeling trip). Super market is walking distance but bicycles with carry baskets (complementary) provided by the resort made it easy to bring stuff back. Overall, a very satisfying experience & one we would love to repeat. Will was great to deal with, & the unit lived up to all the pictures!!

We stayed at the Captain's Suite for a week on our honeymoon and had an excellent experience. The room was excellent and had lots of great amenities that you don't get at a normal hotel room. The view of the beach / sunset from the patio was amazing! The location is great, within in walking distance to many great restaurants and a grocery store. The resort property was well kept. The gardens around the pool area were beautiful. The restaurant on-site was also great and was reasonably priced. We had a great time and would definitely return. Thanks again Will!James and Kerry

My wife and I just love Turks and Caicos and the Royal West Indies. This one bedroom condo was also just great and was a perfect spot to spend 5 nights. The condo is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Having a full sized kitchen area is really a plus as well should you care to take advantage of it. We recommend RWI and this property. Ann was just great to deal with as well.

We recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in The Captain's Suite and we could not have asked for a more perfect place. The unit was beautifully appointed and the view of Grace Bay from the balcony was amazing. This was our first visit to Turks and Caicos and we would certainly recommend the islands and The Captain's Suite to everyone.

Feb 28-March 7 2009 Will, Thank you so much for allowing us to borrow your wonderful piece of paradise. It was everything that we expected and more. The view-spectacular, the condo-could not ask for more. But all the added touches--as they say-priceless!!! You made our week so memorable that I really can't add anymore than your other guests have written before me. All true if not understated!!! Thanks again Will! Hope to see you again in future years. Thanks for sharing your absolutely stunning view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the most beautiful condo at the Royal West Indies. All of the little extras - the luxurious bedding and very comfortable bed, the cooking supplies really made our stay. We think you have the very nicest location on Grace Bay - we looked forward to our morning shell hunting and found the breeze kept it a perfect temperature. We certainly recommend The Captain's Suite to anyone wanting a little extra luxury in paradise. Hoping to return soon!

Will, Thank you so much for everything. The welcome champagne was a wonderful surprise. We drank it on our 1 week anniversary. :) We had a fabulous honeymoon in the Captain's suite. What a view from the balcony! We ate dinner out there a few times during our stay. We are already talking about when we can make it back to Provo and we hope to stay in the Captain's suite again. Thanks! Katy and Michael Lewis PS - We are telling all our friends about the Captain's Suite. I am sure you don't mind. :)

I had meant to enter this earlier but time got away from me. My husband and I stayed at the Captain's Suite for 2 weeks on April/08, and absolutely loved it. Thanks, Will, for the wine, and all your assistance. We never missed a sunset from the balcony, nor did we miss our morning coffee looking out onto the most beautiful beach we've ever been to. The condo was so tastefully decorated, and so comfortable that it felt like home! We plan to return to Provo for many years, and hope to always stay at the Captain's Suite!

Will, Your suite is amazing. Our honeymoon was absolutely fantastic and the accommodations that you provided added a huge piece. We were both so pleasantly surprised when we walked in...the details gave it the WOW factor: the personal note with the bottle of wine, the champagne with chilled glasses, the extras, the feeling that your place was ours and that we were truly welcome. Will: Your place is so nice and comfortable and so wonderful being on the beach. We spent a lot of time on the deck. The Royal West Indies is beautifully landscaped. The soft, sandy beach and turquoise water are perfect. We took long walks on the beach every day. We kayaked and snorkeled. We went game fishing one day. We rode the Gecko Shuttle for 3 days (got lots of local information from the drivers) and then rented a 4-wheel for 3 days. We went everywhere and saw everything. The local people are so nice and the food was good and so was the Rum! It was the most memorable vacation we've ever had and we're already thinking about next year! We are so jealous that you live there!! (Madeleine, Louisville)

My wife and I stayed in The Captain's Suite from July 25 - 31. This was our second stay, and it was better than the first. Much of the suite has been upgraded since last year, making it more comfortable than it already was. The unit is exceptionaly clean, well appointed, and provides one of the best values on the island. The view of the beach from the balcony is the best in the resort. If you are thinking about visiting Provo, then you should seriously consider staying at The Captain's Suite.
