Enjoying golf course and lake views from lanai

Shawn and Andrea’s vacation home in the Waikoloa Beach Villas was a great choice for our Big Island Hawaiian vacation! Near the Hilton and Marriott Resorts, we loved the advantage of staying on the Waikolola Resort grounds. We discovered the white, sandy beach close to the resort. We walked to shopping and restaurants, which offered lots of choices in fine dining, take away meals and fast food. Plus, there was a Starbucks nearby where we stopped for our morning coffee.
This penthouse condo had great views of the golf course, lake and mountains. When entering the unit, we were impressed with the beautifully decorated, upscale furnishings.
The master bedroom’s king sized bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while on vacation! The air conditioning made the unit very comfortable on the warmer Hawaiian days, but we kept cool most of the time by keeping the windows open to enjoy the refreshing cross breeze. The wireless Internet kept us connected throughout the unit and also, on the large, private lanai. When ‘eating in’, we loved the full gourmet kitchen with all the necessities, especially the lanai and outdoor grill/cooking area.
We enjoyed the inviting pool and hot tub in the middle of the garden-like setting. When venturing out to the beaches, we were glad that the owners provided beach towels, snorkeling gear, and beach chairs (the stuff that’s a necessity on any beach outing). Hotels wouldn’t have provided these items and we liked having the conveniences of beach gear at our fingertips.
VRBO Property Owners Andrea and Shawn were great to work with and had a staff of managers available to us on-site if there was anything we needed. This is truly a wonderful vacation spot!

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
With A'Bay so close, we start every morning off with a snorkel or swim in the bay before the rest of the day's activities. Later in the day, the pool is only steps away to cool off! With the Queen's Marketplace across the street, it's easy to stop by for Starbucks in the morning, or a meal in the evening - either ready to prepare meals or at the restaurants there!

The perfect Condo in the perfect location. The amenities are exactly as advertised and the location is great. Walking distance to shopping, beach, Starbucks and for the two weeks we spent, there was full sunshine every day. The lanai is great for barbeque and when we wanted to eat at home. The pool is clean and the water cool. We had our in-laws stay with us, and were able to have comfortable privacy. There was digital cable in the living room and both bedrooms. The bathrooms were with the bedrooms which enhanced the privacy aspect. Kitchen applicances are new and everything you need is there. What a great place, cannot wait to go back. Carl and Jen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waikaloa Beach Villas Penthouse. The condo was immaculate, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The location was perfect. We were so impressed with the fact that people really seemed to take pride in keeping this lovely home clean. The only glitch we had was some loud neighbors over the weekend. I think they were locals there for a concert. We look forward to returning. Everything about this vacation was made easy and we felt very welcomed! Mahalo.

We selected to come to the Big Island at that time of year since we knew the number of children would be at a minimal level, which proved to be correct. We wanted a top floor, and a condo that was quiet. We are very quiet and require the same when we rent a place when we travel. (Incidentally, I was an apartment owner for a number of years so we understand the rental business.) We also had been going to Kauai for many years, but our last trip was somewhat disappointing due to the huge number of condos being built. We loved the Big Island and plan to be back next year only for a longer stay. Our condo was very neat and completely supplied. We cook all of dinner meals at the condo. Great Place.

Our stay at F32 was great! We thought the location was superb. The accomodations excede expectations however it would have been nice if a few things were provided in kitchen (as is done in Canada)ex..coffee filters, ketchup, sugaretc. These are usually there and we simply top them up before leaving. We also had a few issues with the A/C. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again but address the A/C immediately upon arrival.
Owner response:Thanks to the notification, we were able to find a defective part in our A/C! A/C is functioning like new!

The rental unit exceeded our expectations, so much so, that we are hoping to return to Waikoloa Beach Resort in 2010. The description of this unit was accurate in all aspects. We rarely went out to eat as the kitchen in this unit had everything you required. The barbeque on the lanai was great, top quality. I would highly recommend this property but unfortunately it is up for sale. Hopefully the new owners will rent it out? If you enjoy golfing Wiakoloa is the place to be! The golf courses were well manicured and quite challenging at times. The beach is near by so you can head off for a dip after a hard day of golfing.

We had an awesome stay in Hawaii. It was nice to get away from the snow in Canada. Snorkeling is a must! The resort was beautiful... Hope to be back soon.
