Number One Porters Court is a Barbados rental with a touch of luxury, its high ceilings of traditional 'pickled pine' offers two en-suite bedrooms that can be made up into either twin or double beds with crisp white Egyptian cotton sheets.
It is part of an exclusive development of eight Chattel style villas nestled around a swimming pool in secure tropical gardens. The exotic planting is representative of the Caribbean and Barbados.
Our Bajan villa is tucked away in a quiet corner surrounded by a tropical garden with the swimming pool conveniently near in the centre of the development. Although it's a holiday rental, it's a home away from home, comfortable and relaxing.
We take great care to consider all your needs and prefer to have children over the age of seven. It is an ideal place for more than one family to take over several villas and if there is a special occassion such as Wedding, Birthday, Anniversay, we can organise for other villa owners to join in sharing with you, their villas. We can also organise Meet and Greet at airport, Taxi from/to airport, Welcome Food Pack, Hire Car. We keep a manual at the villa with all the restaurant phone numbers, and advice from Doctors to Shopping to where to find what in the Villa and how to contact anyone if you are in need of anything. For our first time in Barbados, #1 Porters Court was an excellent choice. The reservation process was easy, the villa was easy to find and the location was perfect for us. The villa is spacious and is very well kept. The bus stop is very close and provides easy transportation options. The beach is nice and close and is arguably one of the better beaches on the west side.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.
Superbly equipped and comfortable accommodation a short bus ride from the centre of Holetown.

This is our first visit to Barbados (it won't be our last!!). The House is about 30 minutes walk north of Holetown. There is a good bus service, but I would recommend hiring a car if you don’t just want a lazy beach holiday in a quiet location. We have had some disappointments in the past when we have booked private properties, but everything here was superb. Well maintained, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is ideal for exploring the island. The Lonestar restaurant is well worth a visit, but It does come at a price being one of the best around. I am reluctant to recommend Porters Court too highly, as I want to go back and would be absolutely distraught if it was unavailable.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

Enjoyed 2 beautiful weeks in August '08 at Porters Court. The villa was perfect for a family or a couple, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal, quiet and yet close to the beach, restaurants and Holetown. We'll never forget sunsets at JuJu's Beach Bar. We'll be back !

We truly enjoyed staying at your villa last week. It was perfect for the two of us. The extra touches, with the flowers and food starter pack, were much appreciated. The next time we come to Barbados we'll definitely contact you again. It was very quiet and private, and we enjoyed the swimming pool every day. Driving on the left side of those narrow roads took a little getting used to. One minor disappointment: no broadband internet was available, but we made arrangements for local dial-up service for the week. Thank you so much for helping make our honeymoon an enjoyable and memorable trip.
