Can not say enough about how wonderful our stay was.The condo was so homey and relaxing. After a busy day out we couldn't wait to come back and sit on the deck and listen to the waves.Every room has a view of the ocean.Wayne was so easy to work with .We will return. The beds were so comfy. We hated having to leave after such a great week. Thanks again for opening your home to us.The Grant Family
Owner response:thank you for the great review. Just a little correction: The master bedroom and living/dining room do have ocean views. The second bedroom and baths do not. Very open and airy. Black out curtains in bedrooms when you want to take a daytime nap!

First, we have to thank the incredibly gracious owners of the property for their many kindnesses, and for making this darling condo so comfortable to stay in. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, clean and airy. We are so lucky to have found this place. Every single day we got up to watch the sunrise. Breathtaking. The ocean air is a natural tranquilizer; it's impossible not to relax. The best part may well be the porch and the rocking chairs ... we sat and watched dolphin pods crossing the ocean right in front of us all afternoon one day we were here. Dozens of great restaurants within a few miles (Frank's in Pawley's Island, Bliss in Murrells Inlet) and so much to do. Can't say enough. What a wonderful place ... just don't tell anybody else!!!

April proved to be an ideal time to visit Seawatch. The weather was temperate and the surf was calm most of the time this second week of April 2011. Garden City Beach is a short drive from Myrtle Beach but worlds away in atmosphere, much more laid back and quiet, at least at this time of year. We enjoyed the quiet mornings on the deck with just the sounds of the surf as accompaniment. The condo is attractive in a shabby-chic decor that is like a seaside cottage. It felt very homey.

After staying at Myrtle Beach hotels for years, we were so happy to discover this condo in Garden City. It's the perfect spot to enjoy the ocean. The casual beach house feel reminded us of simpler times, yet the condo had all the modern conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. The large covered porch, by far the best feature, gave us ringside seats to an amazing multi-colored sky each morning and impressive waves during an afternoon storm. In the evening we enjoyed several local restaurants and especially liked Salt Water Creek Cafe in Murrells Inlet, where we had dinner on the patio serenaded by a local musician. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing time at the ocean, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back next year.

We rented this condo twice this year, It is a bit beyond our budget, but as I was going to have knee surgery, we wanted to be close to the water (in case I could not make it to the beach). The shining highlight of this condo is its covered porch. I believe it measures at least 12 x 16 . It has plenty of shade early, as it is so deep. Several Rockers of which you will find at least one to fit you comfortably. You feel like you're on the beach without ever leaving the porch. A couple other highlights, very comfortable beds (memory foam -- Ahhhh) also the bedrooms are very dark once you close the curtains (very good for sleeping) If you're looking for uptown elegance , not here. Just good clean comfortable living. The floors are worn to the bare wood, and not flat, a rolling type floor from room to room. Reminded me of my wifes grandmothers house that was a barn converted to a house. A very charming condo. We have never stayed in a condo that the access to the beach was easier. from the porch or if you want, you can keep your beach stuff in your vehicle and pull it around to the side of the condo. now you're 15 steps from the sand. There is public access on the side of the condo, but it never presented a problem. If anything it was interesting to watch people pull up and eat their lunch while viewing the ocean. There were not a lot of nick-nacks to worry about here either. All in all, we enjoyed our times here. Location description was accurate Photos reflect the property Owner was very very helpful We would reccomend this condo to anyone Crabby Mikes is always good for crablegs. Chicago Pizza has a Calzone that is huge for only 6 bucks. Margerataville at broadway at the beach is a fun loud noisy place to eat.

We just returned from vacation and wish we never left?! The condo and owners are simply great! Pics are exactly what you get; comfortable and 'at home' feeling. Easy beach access, a few stairs to navigate but it was easy for our grandmother, cane and all. We spent our days on the beach and evenings in search of fabulous local eateries, which there was no short supply of... Murrells Inlet has wonderful restaurants, from seafood to steaks and wood-burning brick oven pizzas; something for everyone, even the picky child who only likes chicken fingers. Recommendations - Flo's, Bovine Steak House, Wahoo's, Hot Fish Club and Divine Fish House; all in a row on the same road! Short drive to the adventures of Mytle Beach and all the 'things to do' if you are inclined. Can't wait to go back

This is my favorite condo but I really hate to tell anyone how great it is because it is getting harder to get to stay in it. I wish I was rocking on the porch. I would describe the decor as shabby chic so comfortable and easy to maintain during your stay. cannot wait until I can go back!

We are in love with this beach condo !! It was great being on the ground floor with access to the beach so quick and easy. Our mornings were spent sunning, reading and drinking our coffee, while watching the ocean from the rocking chairs on the porch. The very definition of relaxation. The decor of the condo is perfect, cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there were extra pillows and quilts. There was plenty of room for 2 teenage boys and their "stuff" and mom and dad too. The boys enjoyed walking to the pier and the shops up the street from there. The sunrise on the ocean is always stunning and different every day. We hope to stay again and will tell our friends about this great condo. I had very pleasant dealings with the owner during the whole transaction, which made everything go very smoothly too.

Location, location, location. It couldn't have been any better. The sun rise and moon shining on the water were wonderful to see. The condo itself was great. It was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Our first time at Garden City. It was so much nicer than the hectic pace of Myrtle Beach. The time there was just what my sisters, my niece and I needed. We hope to make this a yearly event. Chris, Judy, Angie, and Patsy.

What a wonderful vacation we had listening to the sounds of the ocean, watching the sunrise and sitting on your nice big porch. Your condo is in a good location and fully equipped with everything you need. Looking forward to returning next year.

We stayed in this lovely oceanfront condo the first two weeks of October 2008. Such a nice home away from home. Very clean, and relaxing. The owner was very attentive and helpful with any inquiries we had before and and during our stay. We hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay in this delightful condo. So close to the beach. Perfect week in every way. Loved the ocean porch. Great location, plenty of room. Can't say enough things about how great our week at the beach was. Don't think another place at the beach has this great of access to the beach. Just steps out the door to the ocean. If you are looking for a great place to stay & close to the beach, this is it. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

What a wonderful vacation. The place was perfect for relaxing and not having to worry about some sand on the floor. It was very comfortable and couldn't be any easier to get to the beach. The weather was perfect every day. What a way to spend retirement. The places we ate and the distance to them was great. We went on the Sea Shell and Lighthouse tour at Georgetown and that was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for a great week. Loma Doerstler and Janice Kinert

What a wonderful place! We felt very much at home from the time we walked in the door. It was a perfect place for 4 sisters to relax and enjoy all the surrounding sites. In addition to enjoying the house and the beach we made several short journeys to Charleston, Georgetown, Murrells Inlet, and Pawleys Island. Wonderful food and a great sunset is just south at Gulf Stream Cafe. Just north is Conch Cafe where the porch is very comfortable and the Key Lime pie will have you going back. As you can tell we had a wonderful time and hope to be back.

It is difficult to describe the peace that happens at your condo in Garden City. The ocean was framed by our fantastic deck, every morning and every sunrise. We began to look for fisher persons and shell collectors and walkers as they started their days and as we enjoyed our coffee seated in our giant rockers. Your/our condo was perfectly located. There are many fine restaurants nearby; places of interest if you are so inclined; a beach that invites a stroll every hour; and a place that felt like home when we just felt like cooking and sipping and enjoying some quiet time with each other. We can't remember the last time we have been so relaxed. Our American hosts at restaurants, Food Lion, and in town always made us feel welcome; as did you with your call shortly after we arrived. Thanks for a fabulous retreat. We'll be back!

What a great place! Small and cozy, just right for a family that needs to get away. The beach is so close and the hose/shower at the bottom of the steps is so convenient to clean off before going inside. There were ample hooks inside for hanging towels and bathing suits. Also plenty of utensils and cookware in the kitchen. A very short walk to the pier, dining and entertainment was a plus for us with two small kids. We can't wait to go back for our next vacation!

Great condo. It really is only a few steps from the ocean as the pictures suggest. It is also very comfortable and in a nice location. It is an easy walk to the Garden City Pier. We loved staying there and will probably try to stay there again.

We have been going to Garden City Beach every year now for almost 10 years. This is one of the best condos that we have rented. It had everything we needed. I really enjoyed being on the first floor and the new washing machine and dryer. The big porch overlooking the ocean was the favorite of every family member. We ate many breakfasts and lunches out on the porch, and saw a fireworks show about every night while sitting in the big rocking chairs. We hope to be back again next year!

This beach condo is fabulous- we didn't want to leave. The master bedroom is great, the king size bed is super comfortable and the sounds of the sea are so relaxing. The second bedroom is also very comfy. There is ample storage, the hanging hooks in the hallway were handy. The kitchen and living room were perfect for entertaining, I had my family and friends over for dinner twice, we had plenty of space and more than enough dinnerware and cooking utensils. The sectional couch is a great addition. The front porch was awesome, plenty of chairs, a table, and oh so close to the sea. Couldn't ask for a better location-just a short walk to the pier, small grocery store, homemade ice cream and more. Loved the place!

Our extended stay at your vacation property was absolutely marvelous. The decorations, style, furniture, convenience were all far above average, and we felt as if we were special guests. The rocking chair porch, sunrise's, moonlight on the water are unforgettable. The only bad thing about this experience was having to pack and leave.

...both of us were really amazed to see the attention to detail that you had taken in decorating and equipping a rental place. I don't think we've ever seen any other house or condo where he guests were so welcomed and so trusted with "the silverware", so to speak. We especially enjoyed the decoration - all the soft, lovely colors with the aqua sea in the background. (not very far in the background, either. I've never stayed so close to the ocean before!) You have quite a flair for putting things together to reflect both beauty and comfort. While I love the impressionist art, my husband is still talking about the pig and the piece of bacon which had refused the sunscreen. We were delighted to stay in your charming place.
