Our place is nice. Private entrance into the Downstairs Portion of our two story house. Squeaky Clean, All New Appliances, New Tile Floor. Large Carpeted Bedrooms. TV with CD/DVD/stereo. Big Bamboo King Sized Beds plus one extra Single Bed. Teak-Wood Tables, Chairs, Dressers and Desks.
Unbeatable Location... one block to the "Backyard Beach" (surfing/windsurfing) and 2 blocks to the "Mother's Beach" (swimming or surfing, great for kids) are nearby (150 yards). Across the street to breakfast at Ted's Bakery. Bike Path starts here. Perfect for biking or jogging. Super Safe for Kids. Completely gated property. Park inside lockable gate. Small Lotus Bowl/Fishpond , Bali Style Gazebo...... 5 minutes drive toward north is Turtle Bay Hilton resort where you can play some golf and tennis. World famous Sunset Beach is 30 second drive away or within walking distance. Banzai Pipeline is about 2 minutes drive away. 5 minutes drive south is the Waimea Bay great for swimming, snorkeling and sometimes whale and dolphin watching. (Even sea turtles too.)
North Shore is the heaven for surfers. The locals also call it the "7 Mile Miracle". Usually surfs are big in the winter time and calm in the summer time. That's why if you visit us in the winter time you'll get to sit at the beach to watch some surfing contests. In summer time you still get good size surfs from time to time, depends on the weather, the wind and the currents. So the surfers usually get to "Check the Surf" first and decide where to catch the perfect surf that day and what kind of surfboards to ride.
To experience the true North Shore surfing spirit, Sunset Beach is the right destination.
