  Hi, Our stay was absolutely awesome!! The house is so open and gives you a calm feeling the minute you walk in. Everything you could possibly need was there and then some. The view of the ocean is priceless, we felt like we were staying in a "million dollar house". During our stay we experienced turtles on the beach, snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming and 2 whales playing. This is a definite place to come and relax and get away from the busyness of life. My family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you very much for all of your help. This house will always be our Hawaiian vacation spot on Oahu! Ellisha

  Aloha! We just returned from our week at your beautiful beach house in Haleiwa. It was everything and MORE than we expected. The House was fresh and clean when we arrived and was equipped with all we needed (dishes, pots & pans, extra blankets, beach toys, towels etc. etc. etc). I have rented many house through VRBO and this was by far the best one. We were visited by Sea Turtles and Rainbows everyday. The Surf was 20+ FT at the nearby beaches but in front of the house was still safe for swimming & boogey boarding. We had so much meeting local families with children who enjoyed swimming with us daily. The location was ideal. Very easy to get to Haleiwa town for shopping and we also went on a few beautiful hikes furthur up the North Shore. Bitsy was so friendly and easy to work with for booking and questions. We will definately be back soon and will reccomend to family and friends. Mahalo!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Aloha! We had a FANTASTIC time on our vacation. All our dreams came true there on Oahu, and we LOVED staying in our adorable Hale'iwa hale! Everything was clean, comfortable, and that beach! Holy cow! I think it was the best one we saw the whole time! Beautiful! We will definitely recommend and we would love to stay there again! Thank you for your help!! Mahalo!

  We loved the house. It was great, perfect location, beautiful beach and only a walk up to the Haleiwa surf break. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I can see why it books up so fast and far in advance. We'd really like to consider coming back again next year at around the same time. Thanks very much, Tim

Also wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had at the house celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with our daughter and son in law.   We stayed here for a week. 4 females, 2 in their mid twenties and the other in their mid 50's. The location was perfect for all of us. The goods: beach right in your own backyard. the water is so calm during the summer and it is like having your own huge swimming pool. perfect for all ages. their are two small reefs on both sides but the beach right in front is all sand. because of the two reefs we got to swim with turtles passing by every day. it was amazing! if you walk on the beach towards town turtles beach themselves there at night so you have your own turtle bay about a 5 minute walk away. walking into town took about 20 minutes. we had shave ice every day and also ate in town a couple times. we cooked breakfast and dinner most of the time. the location is perfect if you want a relaxing getaway as it is about an hour from waikiki. we just drove into waikiki and enjoyed the hustle bustle of the city and when we got home we just relaxed and enjoyed the privacy of our own beach little beach house. washer, dryer, kitchen, table to eat dinner outside, turtles, shave ice, location. also, there is a moped rental place right in town. the bads: no a/c but once you open up the windows and turn on the fans there is a breeze that is constantly flowing it did not matter to us. the second bathroom is located in the garage, this was not a problem for us but i could see it being a hang up for some. laying on furniture that you know has been sat on by tons of people in the past, just a little hesitant but again its all about your style. i just put a sheet on it and i was good to go, bitsy has tons of sheets and towels for you there. these are not really so bad depending on your what your needs and wants are. honestly nothing was bad for us we loved it all. Bitsy is great to work with and very helpful with any questions we had. we hope to return next year and would not stay anywhere else.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

  If you are looking for private, deluxe accommodations, this is not the place for you. The house is in a residential neighborhood and is bordered on one side by neighbors (about 15 feet away) and the public beach access pathway on the other side so it is kind of like staying in a fishbowl. The neighbors wake up early, close doors, move cars around and do what people do who live in a place year-round. The access path is used day AND night so there is always someone walking by and looking at you through the windows. The linens in the house are old and bleach-stained and although the caption under the photo of the bathroom indicates it has been remodeled, we are pretty sure the toilet and shower are original to the house, at least 25 years old. There was also a stench of urine in the bathroom from the moment we walked in but if we opened the window to try to air it out, we got to hear the neighbors. That was the bathroom in the house. The second bathroom is in the garage which is a little strange. The couches in the lower living area were quite worn and lived-in and kind of icky to sit on. If you are with a group or family these things may not bother you but it was just two of us and not really the private space we were looking for. Having said all that, the yard and the beach are FANTASTIC and great for swimming and people-watching.

Betsy " I do my best to be sure guests expectations are met, and take customer satisfaction seriously. I go over details of the house with every renter. The bathroom was clean when they checked in, so not sure about the smell? Perhaps after use with the window closed.....

  I was born and raised on Oahu. After living on the mainland for 20 years, I looked forward to returning home. This beach house was the perfect spot for my homecoming! My husband and children (ages 3 to 11) loved it as well. Great location on the North Shore. Alii's beach is a local favorite (remember Bay Watch?). We went crab hunting at night, swam with turtles and schools of fish during the day, fished off the pier, and enjoyed watching the surfers and paddle boarders. Next time we might be brave enough to book a Shark Tour at nearby Haleiwa Harbor. Close to famous Matsumotos shave ice, award-winning restaurants, & awesome shopping. Easy driving to all other tourist spots around the island. The home is immaculate. Especially loved the open layout. Master bedroom faces the ocean, so I was lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves every night. We combined the twin beds in the second bedroom so our three kids could sleep together on a king-sized bed. We loved lounging on the huge couches in the living room which could easily sleep two more adults. Both bathrooms were clean with ample towels. The outdoor shower was convenient for rinsing off after a swim, and the yard is well kept. The kitchen is well stocked, including a rice cooker. The neighbors were also friendly, they even remembered my kids' hawaiian names. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this beach house. And who can beat the price? I will recommend this property to all of my family and friends. Missed Hawaii before we even left. Until next time. A hui hou!
