After a long day of skiing or hiking, you can unwind by the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy the warmth that a true log cabin offers.

The cabin is decorated with antiques unique to mountain culture and is accented with log and rustic furnishings throughout. Two downstairs bedrooms come with new queen-size beds and spacious closets.

The upstairs loft has two twin beds and a queen and overlooks the spacious living room. Our second bathroom is located in the loft. Our covered front deck overlooks the yard and has amazing views of Peak 1, and 2, and partial views of the ski area. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset, or unwind after a day of adventure. There is a private hot tub to enjoy as well.

The cabin comes equipped with one full bathroom downstairs which includes a bathtub/shower, sink, toilet and plenty of storage space. This bathroom was just updated with new fixtures, tile, lighting, shower doors etc. The upstairs loft bathroom and shower is now complete.

The cabin is walking distance to hiking, cross country skiing, and mountain biking in the National Forest. Shopping, downhill skiing, and restaurants in downtown Breckenridge are only three miles away.

Why the Owner Chose Breckenridge Park Estates

We love the secluded feel, yet we are really close to downtown, and the slopes. We have always dreamed of having a log cabin, and this place fits our family perfectly. We are avid skiiers, and spend a lot of time hiking, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and hanging with friends here in Breckenridge.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin

We love the trails nearby, the views of the mountains across the Valley, and the slopes just a few minutes away. The hot tub is a family favorite, and in the summer our girls love playing in the little creek on our property behind the cabin.

My wife and I spent our 1 year anniversary in the cabin. We also brought our new baby and our two year old. It is a very nice, and clean cabin, and close to the Breckenridge shops. The cabin has everything that you may want or need, including wi-fi

Wish I was still there!

My wife and I stayed at the cabin for our honeymoon and we had an awesome time. We were a little concerned with price, but did not want to settle on just anything. We looked all over VRBO and even got prices from other websites and travel agencies. When I saw this place I thought for the price it's to good to be true.... well let me tell you.. it's TRUE! We've stayed all around Breckenridge in the winter months close to the lifts and wanted some privacy this time, but did not want to be far from town. This place took care of both. The hot tub is a great feature as it usually gets a little chilly at night, even in the summer. We spent every night in it and topped it off with a nice fire inside, how perfect. The wrap around deck is great with a nice view of the snow capped resort. The creek in the back is very peaceful and a nice place to just sit and relax. Yea the place was way to big for just the two of us, but we couldn't pass it up at $150/night. With the loft upstairs, the two bedrooms, and the couches you can easily sleep 8 people. I'm already trying to get some friends to join us for next year. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, plus plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, you don't have to bring anything. Their are plenty of hiking trails close by, check out the packet in the living room it will tell you everything you need to know. We have stayed all over Breck and we have liked everywhere we stayed, but this place stands out by far. This is the first review I have written because I feel this place deserves it. I highly recommend staying here, but I'm coming again next year so just don't pick my week!

Fantastic Vacation Cabin

Guest: Ryan (Aurora)

We had an absolutely fantastic vacation in Breckenridge. The cabin was more than we could have hoped for and loved the location. It looked exactly like the pictures on the website and very clean. The cabin was very convenient to the town of Breckenridge for restaurants and shopping. Walking out of the cabin you could be on trails to do some great hiking within minutes. Having the two bedrooms downstairs is great for couples and the loft is great for children. We enjoyed this cabin so much we are going back with another family in September and there will be plenty of room for all 4 adults plus the 3 children. I would highly recommend this cabin. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions quickly. They are terrific hosts.

Rocky Mountain high

Guest: Silly Syd (Sydney, NSW, Australia)
Date of Stay: 01/18/09 Review Submitted: 05/24/10

We stayed in the log cabin in January 2009. With plenty of fresh snow, a 4WD vehicle was definitely needed. When deciding to stay in the Rocky Mountains, we decided we wanted to find a really truly log cabin. We weren't disappointed. The cabin was rustic, private, and really large. The huge stone fireplace was well used by us and we were never cold. The private hot tub also well used as we are not fans of common hot tubs in a large complex. There is no dishwasher, and not huge amounts of cupboard space, given the kitchen cupboards were so well stocked with all the utensils you could need. The short 5 minute drive back down into town to ski, shop and dine out was never a problem. We even had a ball tobogganing on the county road out the front of the cabin and our son built a terrain park in the front yard which you can't do if you stay in a condo. Don't expect 5 star. Expect a wonderful log cabin in the woods with all the goodies and you won't be disappointed.
