“Ocean Magic” is a perfect description for this large, open condominium apartment on the ground floor of the gated community of Isabela Court. The front patio overlooking the ocean is our favorite spot for dining, reading, whale-watching, and just relaxing and hanging out. The three bedrooms and two full baths can easily handle 5 or 6 people at a time. The ocean shore of Isabela has become our favorite spot in all of Puerto Rico. We’ve been coming back every winter for six years now since first discovering it. The surging Atlantic surfing-capable waves are balanced by two rock-protected tidal pools that are ideal for snorkeling and for children of all ages to cavort in the warm, shallow water.Did you find this review helpful? I have been here multiple times and hope to go back soon. To me, this is paradise. You can walk or drive to a little protected cove and lose all track of time snorkeling. You can rent horses and canter on the beach and ride through almond groves. You can meet up with the fishing boats as they come to the beach and take home a delicious fresh fish to cook up for dinner. Every day we would blend up a tropical fruit smoothie and drink it on the patio, and look at the beautiful ocean. Sometimes the whales or the dolphins will give you a show. Or you can go hiking in the rain forest. Or the dry forest. Meanwhile, the beds and furniture are all very comfortable, and there is wireless so you can check your email, and the kitchen has what you need. Plus the owners are incredibly nice people.
