Come discover Rock Hall, only a two to two and a half hour drive from DC, one and a half hours from Baltimore and Philadelphia and four hours from New York City. Skip the crowds, traffic jams, and breaking the bank - and enjoy our stress-free jewel on the Eastern Shore.
Enjoy watching boats go by and gorgeous sunsets over the Chesapeake Bay sitting on the full-length front porch or from nearly every room (except 2!). Our spacious Victorian home was formerly a boarding house built over 100 years ago for vacation goers coming over by ferry. Beautifully decorated, the house has all of today's modern conveniences, but preserves the turn of the century feel.
Rock Hall is a true sailor and waterman's town surrounded by the bucolic farmland of the Eastern Shore. Just getting here is theraputic! For people looking for something to do - the town boasts many resturants from gourmet fine dining to sitting on the dock cracking crabs and listening to a live band. Rock Hall will use any excuse to throw a party and the town sponsors events throughout the year from the annual hat parade to kick off the New Year to the Boat Parade on the Bay with Santa's arrival. Take the trolley to see the whole town and learn about its history. Rock Hall has a beautifully preserved turn-of-the-century Main Street complete with a coffee house, cafe, 2 large antique stores, art galleries, shops, resturants, kayak rentals, and an original 1920 ice cream parlor complete with red vinyl covered stools and wooden booths. If it is the outdoors you seek; Eastern Neck, a national wildlife refuge for birds, boasts Bald Eagles to Herons, on 2,285 acres of diversified habitat. The beach is only a short 5 - 8 minute walk down the street and a great gathering place for small children. Finally, if you want to get on the water you can rent a captain and his boat for a one hour sailing cruise to a 1 day fishing charter. There are 12 marinas in town and 3 public landings.

- Pet Friendly : Pets allowed for a non-refundable pet fee of $150 a week.
- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations) : There is only a small 7 inch step to get onto the first floor from the back door. Can sleep on sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a powder room on the 1st floor however there is no shower or bath.
- Kid Friendly : I have 2 children and have a toy chest in the sun room! Will need to watch some of the cleaning products under the kitchen sink.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : 25 years old unless accompanied by a relative
- Smoking Not Allowed : Can smoke on the front porch or rear patio.
