Our newly remodeled condo is a comfortable, and well equipped beach vacation home. The soothing, lush green color palette with mango color accents, remind you that you are in Hawaii. The new kitchen features maple cabinets and generous counter space, and has everything that a gourmet cook could need. This one level unit has a remodeled bathroom, new island style furniture, tiled floor throughout, fresh paint, and new linens and towels. The wall of louvered windows make the unit airy and light.
This townhouse-style condo is a desirable end unit opening onto a lush, private garden setting. The driveway leads to adjacent parking, steps from the front entrance. Our 850 square foot condo features 20 foot cathedral ceilings with four large fans, an open space layout, and decorator touches throughout. Dine on our 200 square foot lanai, while enjoying the ocean view, and the tropical, award-winning landscape of swaying palms, bougainvillea, plumeria, hibiscus, and mango trees. Meander down the garden path, to the two newly renovated swimming pools.
Included for your use are beach towels and mats, beach toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler for your refreshments. Our kitchen is extremely well equipped, should you decide to practice your culinary skills. Our lanai includes an electric barbecue, and a full patio set as an option to the indoor dining area.
The Keauhou Resort is well situated adjacent to the Kona Country Club, featuring two spectacular golf courses. From our condominium, you can walk a quarter mile to the Keauhou Shopping Center, where you can find groceries, restaurants, gift shops, a gas station, a movie theater, post office, and other amenities. On Fridays, the shopping center features many daytime activities such as lei making, ukulele lessons, and a Hawaiian show at 6:00 PM.
An eighth of a mile down the road is the beautiful Keauhou Bay, where you can find fishing charters, ocean, kayak, and snorkeling tours, volleyball, picnicking, and fishing. The very popular Fair Wind tour leaves from here. The Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort is on the opposite end of the bay, less than a mile away, where you can find restaurants, a bar, manta ray viewing, and a Kona coffee café for your morning enjoyment.
In the other direction, a mile towards Kailua Kona town, is the Outrigger Hotel. From its lovely lanai, there is nightly live entertainment, overlooking a tide pool area where you can see fish and turtles while enjoying drinks, dining, and the sunset. Next to this hotel is the popular "snorkel beach", Kaaluu.

Why the Owner Chose Keauhou Resort
Keauhou is located on the quiet, south side of Kailua-Kona. We love the proximity to the beautiful Keauhou Bay Harbor, with all of its marine activities. Even if we are not always sailing or kayaking ourselves, it's fun to walk down to the harbor, and watch the activity. When we do want to enjoy the downtown scene, we are a short drive away, down Alii Drive. Another advantage of our condo is that we can walk up to the Keauhou Shopping Center for a quick bite at one of its many restaurants, or to grocery shop, browse or enjoy a movie.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
What we love the most, is that Keauhou Resort is not a high density development; the grounds are lush and beautiful, the pool is a short walk away, and is never crowded. Another thing that our guests tell us they appreciate about the condo, is that it is one-level, parking is adjacent, and it's fully equipped for a longer stay. They also like that our condo is an end unit, quite private, and a short walk to the pool.
We find it so relaxing. We eat almost every meal outside on the lanai. We know you will love it too.

We are from San Jose, California, but we have been spending time in Kona since 2000, when our son moved to the island. Since Ansilla retired from teaching, we consider our condo to be our home away from home.

Arrived October 18th- The weather was perfect. This condo has everything you need and more. Very clean and organized. Grocery shopping and resturants were very close by. The on site manager there had told us great places to snokel. Kayaking was fun and spinner dolphins swam right by us. We would stay here again.

I spent 2 relaxing days at Ansilla and Roberto's condo. Just a long block from a tiny harbor with the Keahou Canoe Club and other water sport activities. Great for walking and close to restaurants and shopping!

The condo completely exceeded our expectations! It had everything you could ever need (dishes, coffeemaker, etc) and a bunch of extras (boogie boards and beach umbrella!). It was clean, cool and peaceful. The pool was great and the condo is very centrally located so it's easy to get around. We especially loved the patio and bbq, it was ideal for cooking meals at home. I would definitely recommend the condo to anyone who wants to stay in the Kona area.

My husband and I spent three weeks in March 2011 at this delightful Condo and thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. The house was extremely clean and ready for our arrival. Being out of our comfort zone for so many days was a concern for me but I was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of "gear" provided. Keauhou Condo could not be situated in a prettier location, ‘where the locals live’. Just up from Keauhou Bay. We walked down to the beach daily and often were the sole occupants. The pool area is easily accessible and very clean and hardly ever busy. We were not looking for glittering restaurants and nightlife; this would be the wrong place. Reading, watching the ocean and walking on the beaches were what we wanted. This was our time to unwind and relax. However, just a few miles down Alii Drive and you are right in the area of fine restaurants and boutiques and markets. Fresh, good food very important to us. So it was great with the farmers market so close and handy. Note: for anyone with a mobility issue, the Condo is on one level with only a few stairs to navigate; with vehicle parking right beside the entry door… how much easier can it get. We happily co-existed with the geckos and many tropical birds. We truly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended this house to friends. In fact, we loved it so much we are heading there again next year, for 6 weeks this time. We had the most wonderful time…thank you Ansilla and Roberto.,,

A wonderful spot for a mid-winter sunbreak! Close to everything - walking distance to grocery stores, shopping, beach, historic sites, and more. The complex was quiet, clean, and well-maintained, and the rental property was immaculate, furnished with every possible amenity. I really appreciated the 'welcome binder' which the hosts had filled with lots of information about local sites, suggestions on where to go, what to eat, and so on. The whole experience was everything I'd hoped for and so much more. I have already recommended this rental opportunity to family members, and I would look very much forward to making a return visit. Thanks again for helping me to have a terrific holiday!

Wonderful Condo, very quiet and Private. Well equipped, clean condo, and beautifully remodeled kitchen with all of the equipment needed to feel like home. The King bed was very comfortable, as was the pull out sofa sleeper, and we felt like we had two separate bedrooms! Four ceiling fans and huge screened windows made nights very comfortable. The Lanai was of course our favorite spot from daylight well past sunset, you feel like you are absolutely in a private paradise, and awakening to the sounds of hundreds of beautiful birds was surreal! Thank you!

We enjoy our stay at the Keauhou Resort. It was quiet, private, and very comfortable. The pool was lovely and seldon crowded. The condo was nicely furnished, well maintained, clean, and had all the comforts of home. We loved the launi. Shopping and restaurants were very near the site. The owner's handbook contained lots of wonderful suggestions for sight seeing, shops, and restaurants to visit. We look forward to our next visit to Kona and the Keauhou Resort and would highly recommend it to others.

This accomodation is exactly as advertised: comfortable, clean, quiet, and very private. The Keauhou area has become my favourite on the Kona Coast, with a variety of places to go on morning or evening walks, a very peaceful setting, yet plenty of services nearby. This particular condo is one of the few that doesn't have stairs, and isn't surrounded by other apartments. Dining on the lanai is unbelievably pleasant any time of the day. Ansilla likes to run a tight ship, as does the resident manager. Highly recommended.
