Our Quiet Water cottage is located in a peaceful riparian setting on the Yachats River among Oregon's beautiful forests.
The cabin features a King sized bed in the upstairs bedroom, a new pull-out double bed sofa with a premium plush mattress in the private sun-room, and alcove window seat beds: one double, two singles. We have a wood burning fireplace & thoughtfully chosen decor, including lots of art, warm colors and comfy sitting areas.
Our deck overlooks the Yachats River where you may use our canoes or simply enjoy the view of tall Douglas Firs & hardwoods that grow to the river's edge. At the river, you’ll find a well-groomed gravel path that meanders three-tenths mile to the Pacific Ocean. The city of Yachats is one-half mile, all well for walking and conversation with friends and family. Quiet Water means peaceful and friendly.
Quiet Water boasts a heated pool and hot tub open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and usually weekends in September. Tennis court for singles or doubles available here with half court basketball. Canoeing on the Yachats River travels east inland and west to the sea.

- Upstairs bedroom #1 has a king-sized bed with private bathroom,skylight over the bed,and a view of the Yachats River. Downstairs bedroom/sunroom is nearest the river and has very comfortable queen size pull-out sofa (new) with premium plush mattress and mattress pad. Additional sleeping in three alcove window beds (seats) with decorative cushions for sleeping: One double and two singles. All sleep adults or children. Lots of dry firewood is provided. Hot tub and pool, in season, shared with Quiet Water guests.Covered Parking currently with stored firewood. We even offer two canoes with lifejackets for your use!

We had a wonderful time. The weather was great and the house was very comfortable. The amenities were very helpful. We had two good meals in town and enjoyed the swimming pool. Thank you for a great opportunity to spend time together and have lots of fun!

This cabin built with love, full of suprises and hidden treasures has left us an everlasting feeling of serenity. It has been a pleasure to have our 7th wedding anniversay here. We've been to the coast several times and have found some pretty cool places. As far as peaceful and tranquility goes, this cabin takes the cake. We will be returning guests in the future. Thanks for opening up your little secret slice on heaven.

Thanks for a wonderful place to stay. We loved the warmth of the cabin and the beautiful back deck with the trees, flowers and bird family. We had a ball canoeing up the river. Yachats is such a wonderful town with the beach, rocks, tide pools and beautiful forests. The cabin felt like home.

I stayed with i number of friends at the cabin for a weekend. There were 8 of us and everyone found a comfortable place to sleep. We enjoyed the deck area and the beautiful trail walk along the river. The town was within walking distance as was the ocean beach. I would recommend a visit to the Drift Inn for a meal. The cabin contained a wonderful selection of art, reading material , games, etc...to keep us all entertained. I would recommend this cabin to friends who visit the Oregon Coast.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.
The (provided) canoe was a wonderful bonus!

This property is clean and appears inside just as in the photos. It is one of 52 cabins quite closely situated to each other and has a back deck facing the river. I would recommend it to a small group or family who don't mind a neighborhood of cabins in a community of similar cabins. I would not recommend it to someone in hopes of a quiet secluded river paradise as I had wanted. There is a short but beautiful walk along the river to the ocean and much wildlife in and around the water.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.
