The house is really comfy, it has everything you need for a great vacation weekend or even a month. We were 5 families, and everybody had their own space, the rooms are big enough to spend the night as a family in just one bedroom. We will definitely come back soon!!!! What an amazing house and the owners were wonderful to work with. Our friends decided to get together to celebrate four of us turning 40 and we couldn't have had a more perfect location. The layout of the house is perfect and it has space for everyone. From sitting on the dock, lounging on the porch overlooking the lake, or eating in the kitchen (It was outstanding)! I recommend taking a boat ride to Laprades Marina (The Chop House) for dinner... To sum it up: Amazing location and house! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your piece of paradise!

Perfect place for a family reunion

This was a perfect place for a family reunion. Our 16 person family had a great time staying at this home. It was beautiful, clean, and felt like home. Everyone ages 4 - 75 had a good time. It was nice to be on a quiet cove so the kids could swim without worrying about boat traffic. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We will definitely rent this, again.

Had a grant time the first week of August, 2009. We chose this beautiful summer house because it accommodated a large number of family members (7 adults and 2 kids). We loved the secluded cove part of the lake, where we swam and canoed with no worry about fast boat traffic. We definitely recommend renting this house because of the well appointed decorations on the inside, large comfortable kitchen area, driveway capacity(we had up to six cars at one time with no parking problems). The house is soundproof which is nice when you have kids and many adults living under one roof for a week. Highly recommend Water's Edge restaurant at LaPrades Marina for a nice dinner out. If you're into fishing be sure to bring plenty of flys as the fish love them. We didn't have much luck catching fish out front of the house. Cruising around Lake Burton is a fest for the eyes. The summer homes are astonishingly beautiful. Thanks to Julie who was always responsive to any questions. Enjoy.

What an absolute treasure! This is one of the loveliest homes I have ever seen---it's not just a house, it's a home. This home is perfect for family gatherings and reunions and able to accomodate 15 people easily. Views of Lake Burton are absolutely beautiful and we loved spending time down at the dock during the day and in front of the fire on the porch in the evening. Everything about this place is so well-appointed that as soon as you walk through the doors you feel right at home! If you want to enjoy all that the North Georgia Mountains and Lake Burton have to offer--then there is no better way to go than right here!

Absolutely wonderful house, the best in which we have stayed. This is not a house owned to rent, it is a house owned to live in, which the owners just happen to rent. It has many nice touches which make you feel comfortable and at home. Great views and water access. I hate to post this because we will be coming back and I would prefer fewer people to know just how nice this place is!

What an incredible find!! Our family had the best time staying at this home and I would highly recommend this home to anyone. There were so many things for everyone to do. Our family's favorite time was just sitting on the porch talking and laughing about the events/adventures of the day. I think several of us could have stayed up all night talking. 5 BR Home located on Lake Burton with a fabulous cove view!!! This immaculate new home is ideal for two families or 10-12 guests. The two living areas and three full master suites make this the perfect home for two families. The screened porch and outside fireplace are favorites of guests. This home is located on a private lot, offering extra privacy and parking which guests are looking for on a vacation, with the convenience of a short stroll to dock. The kids bunk room is sure to please with three bunks. In addition to a game room for kids and adults. The living room and dining room are perfect for entertaining with a dining area to accommodate ten. The living room also features a cozy fireplace. The spacious gourmet kitchen features granite countertops and lends itself for entertaining and family dinners. Sit back and relax on the screened porch or take a short walk and enjoy the lake. There is also a grill for those special summer meals. This is truly a home to be enjoyed and remembered. Our family will definitely rent this home again soon.

A fantastic "get away" house...will accomodate a large group well...on a scale of 1-10 a definite "10"...first class all the way....sitting on the dock in the fall air was just great and the porch/outdoor living room with the fireplace got rave reviews from all...would do again in a flash...just stay longer...

Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us! Your home is absolutely beautiful and so well appointed - much more than one would expect for a rental home. The porch area off the back of the house was our group's favorite gathering place in the morning and the evening. Everyone went home saying that they would like to have such a porch at their own place. The lake is very quaint and offers beautiful views and cool and clear water. Your location just inside the no wake zone makes for easy boat docking and minimal boat traffic. The dock area offers great relation and such easy swimming access. The canoe was an added bonus ... several of the adults couldn't wait to get in and paddle around and a few of the children were able to experience their first canoe trip. Thanks Julie and Mike for a wonderful few days. We look forward to our next visit.

We rented this beautiful home for a company retreat and everyone absolutely loved it. From warm fires on the porch to cooking in the well equipped kitchen... we plan to rent this home again. The local restaurants were a hit too!!!

This house is incredible! The serenity and views were awesome. We rented it for a fall get together with four other couples and everyone could not believe what a nice house we had rented. Having the restaurants close by was also nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there.

This is the best luxery vacation home our family has ever stayed in! The house was beautifully decorated and well appointed and met all our needs. We shared with another family and had plenty of room for the 2 couples and a total of 6 kids. We enjoyed not only the swimming in the clean lake water, but also that we could take walks in the woods. Also, we could walk to 2 great restaurants-Pazzo and Joni's. IT is such a relaxing place that it has inspired us to want a place of our own some day.

We have stayed in this gorgeous lake home many times. It is by far one of our family's favorite places to vacation. The best place in the world to make family memories.It is spacious enough for your family or several families. I cannot believe a home like this is on the rental market. It is decorated beautifully and has a rustic, cozy touch. It is right on the lake and has incredible views from almost every room. It has space for several families and is very kid friendly. It is one of the prettiest lake homes we have ever seen.

We have stayed at many properties over the years through VRBO. This is by far one of the most fabulous houses you could stay in.
