  If you choose this apartment be aware: I can happen, that you spend more time on the balcony than on sightseeing... There are fantastic views at all day times, you see the tides coming and going, and your are sitting nearly over the river. The only sounds you hear at night are the waves of the Thames caused by the boats splashing on the river banks.Everything was just perfect. We have never had such a relaxing city-apartment, perfectly equipped, everything is new and fresh and on a very high technical standard, including a huge TV and PS3 (perfect for Teenagers !), a first class Kitchen and a luxurious bathroom. It's only a 5 minutes walk (along the Thames; and through the old Docks, really lovely) to the Tower Bridge, the next Tube and Bus Station and also to supermarkets and restaurants. Living here is very easy and we can fully rcommend this location. The owners, gave us a very warm welcome and if we return to London, this little oasis is our first choice. Just excellent !!!!

  Stayed here with my wife for 5 nights and loved it. Right from the initial contact Stuart provided a very accurate and detailed description of the apartment and rental process. The payment process was very simple using paypal for the deposit and then again for full payment a month before our visit. Once full payment was completed we received a handbook via email with explicit instructions on everything in the apartment including all appliances, TV & cable box, heat.....etc...It also included locations for local grocery stores and restaurants as well medical needs(doctors & hospitals). We arrived at the apartment from the airport via the Bermondsey tube stop and then the short walk through a residential neighborhood which takes between 5 and 10 minutes depending on your pace. Upon entering you can't help but notice the spectacular view of the tower bridge and later on when nightfall came it got even better. The place was exceptionally clean with a nice comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom with a rain shower and huge separate tub that my wife soaked in on our first night. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook though we never utilized it. The big flat screen tv had tons of channels to watch and no problems connecting to the wifi and making local and long distance skype calls. There really isn't anything negative I can say about our stay some others have commented on the neighborhood we had no problems walking to and from the apartment any time of the day or night. And that Bermondsey stop on the Jubilee line is great. It's only 3 or 4 stops and your at waterloo or Westminster in the middle of it all. And we never waited more than 5 minutes for a train yes that's right the London tube provides very efficient service. We visited one of the recommended restaurants close to the apartment an Italian place called La Laterna which was very good and definitely concur on the recommendation. Would love to stay here again on a return visit to London.

  Probably our 5th stay - an indication that time spent in this London apartment is icing on the cake for a London vacation. It is central, in other words if you are walking, it is in easy reach of Tower Bridge, The Globe Theatre and The Tate Modern to mention just a few attractions. It is private, innovatively well appointed and with great unimpeded river views. After a day sightseeing or shopping, it is just lovely to relax, sip on a cool drink and while-away life on the Thames - the night-time lights are spectacular. The owner has thought of everything - as detailed in the apartment manual. We love it.

  Never before could enjoy a stay in London like this time. The Tower Bridge appartement is located ideally on one site to visit sightseeings on the over site to relax after a long day . our personell rating ****** . !! Don´t be afraid if you enter the house, its total different from when you enter the appartement !!

  This has got to be the perfect apartment in London. As for it's location- It's a 5-8 minute walk (down a tree line residential street) to the Bermondsey tube station along with multiple stores to pick up grocery essentials along the way. Another 5-8 minute walk (toward Tower Bridge) brings you to Butler's Wharf where you'll find every kind of outdoor cafe' table you could desire...Steak, Italian and Mexican food. And, there's lot of shopping opportunities. The apartment has charm, comfort and the WOW factor. All you have to do it look out the many windows or step out onto the balcony to see why. The views only get better at night. The owner has provided everything a person could need. It does pay off to read the "apartment handbook" or the appliance manuels provided. We were lucky enough to catch the firework display over the Tower Bridge on the last night of the paraIympics...it was unbelievable. I LOVED, loved, loved this apartment!

  We planned our Olympic trip well over a year in advance and so our choice of where to stay was extremely important. On paper (or rather online) this apartment met all our exacting criteria and so it was with great excitement and a little trepidation that we arrived in London the morning after the opening ceremony. Knowing that the Bermondsey area is not exactly Knightsbridge, we weren't really surprised to be greeted by wheelie bins outside the front door but please don't let that put you off. The apartment itself is beautiful, modern and has everything that you could possibly want and more. The view is as stunning as everyone says and the tidal reach is fascinating. You can spend the whole day (and night) just watching the water, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf. Particular highlights are the shower, toaster (don't ask, just try it) and the extensive wardrobe and drawer space. Well done Stuart for ensuring sufficient coat hangers - hotels never have enough! The location is so conventient within an easy walk of Butler's Wharf, Shad Thames and Tower Bridge. Bermondsey underground is on the Jubilee Line which is one of the most useful tube lines in existence and made the whole Olympic experience so easy getting to events at the Olympic Park in Stratford, Grenwich Park, Lord's Cricket Ground, Horseguards & Eton Dorney an absolute breeze. We are already planning our next visit to London which will be based around the availability of this apartment!!

  The apartment was just perfect! It was very nice, clean and modern. We enjoyed the great views from all windows and balcony. The apartment is really not far away from the underground Bermondsey and bus stop. It is also an excellent location. The owners are very responsive and accomodating! We can fully recommend this location. Many thanks to Stuart.... we come back!

  Dear Stuart, we spent a wonderful holiday in your well equiped, top designed, comfortable and calm apartment. Enjoyed great views from all windows and balcony! Saw the lifting of the Tower Bridge from the apartment. Nice footpath along the river thames and really not far to the Bridge or to Bermondsey underground and bus stop. The pup (Old Justice) across the street provided us with some evening drinks and Korean BBQ on the table. The Internet access was helpful and especially our both teenagers were very fond of it! If coming again we will choose your apartment for sure and we will recommend it to all our friends, cause it is much better than staying in a hotel. Thank you and kind regards!

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation Policy: If a booking is canceled up to 28 days before the arrival date the rental amount received will be fully refunded. If a booking is cancelled up to 14 days before the arrival date 50% of the rental amount received will be retained as a cancellation fee. If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date 100% of the rental will be retained as a cancellation fee. If we re-let the apartment for the cancelled period any retained cancellation fees will be refunded to you. We reserve the right to deduct any fees and charges incurred as a result of a cancellation after occupancy has commenced. We have a minimum 3 night stay policy. A cleaning charge will be levied for stays less than 3 nights. We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to events beyond our control and will refund all monies received from you via your original payment method. Check-In & Check-Out Times: Check-in is from 14:00pm, early check-in can be arranged with prior agreement. Check-out is by 10:00am. Arrangements will be made with you prior to your arrival on directions and how to gain entry to the apartment. Other: Bookings are only confirmed once the booking deposit is received. For registration and insurance purposes the person making the booking and/or payment must be one of the guests staying at the apartment for the full period of the booking unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement.
