Our family of grandparents, parents and small children enjoyed a holiday weekend at this beautiful, homey, perfectly located property. The home provided plenty of space to get away and space to join together in family fun. The kitchen has brand new applicances and is stocked with any pan or utensil desired. Thankfully the weather cooperated on this winter weekend.

If you're looking for a large, well-situated house with spectacular views of the ocean and Haystack Rock, an easy walk to the beach, this is it! The Cannon Beach Retreat is a five-bedroom, three bath house, with large living areas for socializing, but plenty of privacy for quiet times as well. It is wonderfully equipped, from firewood for the fireplace, to spices and condiments in the well-stocked kitchen, to rain gear for walking in the winter storms on the ocean. This is clearly a home that a family has loved; it has that good energy. Whether it's just you and your honey, or a group of 10, this is a perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the Oregon Coast has to offer.

Our family had a wonderful week staying at Cannon Beach Retreat. The location was perfect for our extended family of nine, which ranged in ages from 20 months to 65, and from locations from California to Minnesota to Seattle to Michigan. The ocean views, the sunsets and the walks were wonderful. The home is very comfortable and we were all able to have a relaxing time. The fact that it’s close to the beach, to Haystack Rock, and to town meant that we could walk our separate ways from time to time. Having the BBQ grill on the deck above overlooking the ocean made for many relaxing dinners outside. Five bedrooms helped us have a lot of privacy. Also, the town of Cannon Beach is perfect. It’s upscale, is centrally located on the coast and has a phenomenal beach with many activities in the area. We highly recommend Cannon Beach Retreat. Our grown children and their families felt this was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! Meg, you were great to work with and did everything you said you would in a timely fashion. We won’t hesitate to come back again.

The house was a perfect place to stay for my family trip! It was perfectly comfortable for 7 of us with more than enough room for at least 3 more. We had all the joys of home but with an amazing view of Haystack Rock and the beautiful sunsets every night. We were the perfect distance from downtown Cannon Beach that everything was only a minute away, but we had space from the hotels and tourists. The house had many extras that made it so easy to relax. The listing shows the house exactly how it is. It is very clean, well stocked, and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this to everyone going to Cannon Beach and I will be staying here whenever I come back! Thank you Meg and your family for an amazing trip my family will remember forever!

We had a wonderful time at your beach house. The house is marvelously comfortable. The weather was perfectly iconic. We have photos of our children on Cannon Beach from 30 years ago wearing hooded sweatshirts in August, and now have images of our grandson to match. What did you love about the house? . Very comfortable and quiet. . Location is great. Good beach access with a bit of morally invigorating climb back to the house (it is the Oregon coast, after all). . Close enough to "downtown" CB but beyond the motels. . The decks and bay window nook. . The game hoard (junior Monopoly and the fishing game were big hits). . All the appliances worked and the kitchen was well equipped particularly for beach life. Viz., there were about a dozen cork pullers and we bought crabs knowing there would be implements to crack them (yup, back of the tableware drawer). ` . The fireplace (and dumbwaiter for fire wood) is remarkable. Who knew that two sticks of firewood could produce that much heat? . The fact that you left out so many objects of obvious personal significance was very welcoming. What could use improvement? -We can't suggest any improvements. Keep it up.

Everything was much more than we expected----beautiful views from everywhere---Paul and I snatched the upstairs room and tho't it was wonderful!!! The kitchen had three times the equipment etc. of mine!!! The couple w/the 14 mo. old used the downstairs unit and that was perfect for them. The walk down to the beach was great, but the walk up was a bit of a challenge for some-----not me!!!!! We enjoyed watching the puffins etc. with our binoculars---and we were happy we could hear the ocean at night. The house must be very special for all of you. We noticed the pictures downstairs of the actual building of the home---that was special!

We are five high school friends who meet every year for a reunion and this year was one of our best. Your home was warm and comfortible but large enough for each of us to have our own space. It has a beautiful view of the ocean, and was within close enough walking distance that five age-challenged ladies could make it just fine.

My wife and I along with our two children and four grandchildren spent a wonderful 9 days at the Cannon Beach Retreat. The view of Haystack Rock and the beach is spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The house made us feel very much like we were at our own home. All of us enjoyed ourselves and intend to come back.

Our family gathered in your lovely and accomodating home for the wedding of our son. We come from the east coast and were unfamiliar with the area but quickly saw the beauty and rugged coast of your Oregon. WOW, it is breathtaking. Thankyou for the joys and comfort of your gracious home with views that are spectacular, easy walks to the beach and town for great shopping and restaurants!A memorable time in a beautiful place...Thankyou!! The Cannon Beach Retreat has become our home away from home. My husband and I have a toddler and hotel rooms just don't cut it. It's the perfect size for the three of us, giving our little guy plenty of room to play. However the home can comfortable accommodate many more friends or family if you have a larger party. The view... You can't beat it and you can walk to the beach or jump in the car and drive to the bottom of the hill. Its also close to SHOPPING :-) Dad stays home during nap-time and Mom goes to town. The owners have been really great too, making sure we had a good time and that accommodation's were comfortable. We've stayed here twice now and we will be staying there again.
