Enter this wonderful home through the beautiful alder door and take in the stunning, 17 foot entry to the home’s living room. There you can sit before the ledgestone fireplace and rest after a day at the Lake or on the slopes. Enjoy a quiet moment under skylights or watch a movie on a 32 inch screen away from the crowd. A large family room offers a separate space for music, television with game ports, DVD/CD player, puzzles, and games. The electronic dart board can provide a vacation long contest.
The maple cabineted kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Have a quick bite at the granite counter in the kitchen or relax and enjoy family and friends around a rustic dining table which seats up to twelve. A cozy window seat offers another spot to relax and take in the beauty of the area. If eating outside is more to your liking, the back deck or upper terrace offer the perfect spot. Use the gas barbecue or charcoal Weber grill. A horseshoe pit offers some outdoor fun. A half bath with tumbled travertine is conveniently located on the first floor.
Three bedrooms on the second floor are accessible by the maple and copper staircase. At the top of the stairs two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and comfortable seating area, open onto a shared deck for a peek at the lake. A full bath with new maple cabinets and tumbled travertine with shower over tub is nearby. Across the hall is the master suite. A king bed, spa tub, a comfortable sitting area and reading alcove fill out the space. A private deck off the master suite puts you among the trees and offers another peek at the lake and a restful retreat. A cozy bunkroom off the family room gives the smaller folks a place of their own when not camped out in the secret spot upstairs.
If you cannot completely unplug, a wireless connection and DSL modem are waiting for you along with a built in desk with ample work space. For the practical, the mudroom with full-size washer and dryer and sink can be a big help as you regroup after a day of fun. The garage has space for two full-size SUVs and plenty of room for your summer or winter gear. (No snow gear in the house please.) There is parking on the driveway for two additional cars.
The home is located approximately 40 minutes from Reno airport and 30 minutes from all major ski resorts. The lake is just a short drive down the hill. Incline Village is centrally located to allow you to enjoy virtually every seasonal sporting activity imaginable. Water-sports (including use of private beaches), golf, tennis, biking, hiking, and skiing and snowmobiling can fill your days. Gaming and cultural events are also nearby.
