Great beach getaway

Really enjoyed our visit to the Sunshine Beach House. The property is conveniently located to transportation with a bus stop steps away to go downtown (the Pike, Shoreline Village) or the shopping/restaurants at Belmont Shore. The property is a gated, court-yard building with a common deck at the end overlooking the beach (wonderful and relaxing!) There was plenty of room for our stay with 4 adults (me, 2 aunts & my mother). Other things we loved: reliable wireless internet, kitchen stocked with basics, and did I mention the beach-view deck!? My aunt specifically asked me to mention how impressed she was with how clean the property was. Would recommend this property to others and would rent again when returning to Long Beach. Thank you!

Our stay at Laura's townhome was wonderful! It is everything described and more. The shared deck was a great place to sit and relax with fantastic views. We rarely saw any of the other residents on the deck or at the property. Laura and her husband were there to greet us with flowers and cookies and had also saved us a parking spot on the busy street out front. Parking on the street is a challenge. We utilized their parking garage for the majority of our stay even though we were in a minivan rental that was too wide for us to open the driver's side door once parked inside the garage. My husband easily crawled out the back though! The townhome is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants at Shoreline Village. Inside the townhome was a good directory of shopping/dining and a map of the area that is very helpful. Great people to rent from, we would definitely rent this unit again!

This is the second time our family has stayed at this property and it was just as good the second time around. Laura is great to deal with and adds a personal touch to the stay, nothing is too much trouble. The property is welcoming and well-stocked with everything we needed including some staple foods which is a godsend when travelling. The shared deck space is one of the best features with a fantastic view of the beach for miles either way! The kids love the beach and with it so close you can go any time of the day. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone and hope to return again on our next USA visit.

We stayed here during the memorial day week-end. My family with children were pleased with the hospitality and an awesome experience. We highly recommend to any one who is looking for a safe, peaceful fantastic place and a trustworthy owner. The owner is kind and tried to meet all our travel needs. Planning to go back again when an opportunity arises.

The townhouse is phantastic. We still cannot grasp the fact that we were so lucky ending up in such a great apartment and surrounding. Thanks for the info and your help! We had a wonderful stay in your house and we will definitely recommend it to friends. It's been a real home for us.

We had a fabulous one-week stay at this wonderful property. Laura worked very hard to make everything perfect, and really added a personal touch both to the condo and to our experience. She met us on arrival (even provided cookies and flowers) and oriented us to the area and the property. It is well-stocked with everything we needed including kitchen items, some foods, comfy beds, DVD's, WiFi and much more. The decor is delightful including a whimsical painting we admired that we later learned Laura had done herself! The property itself is located in the middle of two wonderful walking destinations: Belmont Shore and the downtown area. We walked every day, enjoying both the beach path as well as the bluff path overlooking the beach, ocean and many parks as well. The shared deck space is one of the nicest features of the property. This is a large area with a huge table and many chairs. The view is unsurpassed! We spent many hours enjoying this area, frequently eating meals here while watching walkers, bikers, roller bladers etc. Added bonus: talking to and getting to know nice neighbors. The listing was accurate and the photos realistic. Everything was perfectly clean and well-maintained. We would definitely recommend this to anyone and hope to get back again ourselves!

Incredible place to stay. I can't say enough about how relaxed we were on our vacation here. The house is very bright, spacious and clean. It's a great place to decompress. There are two mountain bikes available for use as well as body boards, towels, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with snacks and fruits -which was awesome. We are already thinking about planning our next trip here.

We stayed here for a week during the summer of 2006 and really enjoyed ourselves. The place was very clean and bright - perfectly accentuated for a beach house. Our family had plenty of space in the house, which has a full kitchen. The outside has a large deck overlooking a beautiful hillside garden and a nice view of the beach and ocean beyond.

Sunny charming apt. Nicely decorated, very cute, roomy and well equiped with what you need to stay 4 or more nights, to cook and stay in watching dvds, HBO, Showtime, etc. You can walk along the beach probably a mile or so to restaurant row. Lovely patio, sat for hours watching the seagulls dive into the water and listened to the ocean. I would absolutely stay here again.
