  We were a mixed group of 6 (early 20's) staying in the penthouse apartment and couldn't fault a thing! The owner was great and always quick to reply making the booking easy and our stay stress free. The penthouse was spotless, modern and had plenty of space for 6 adults and the balcony was huge! We liked the fact that it was close to the beach, shopping and the strip but also not right in the middle of everything so was very quiet. The pool, although small, was nearly always empty and there was always sun loungers free. We ate out a lot as the local food was so good and really quite cheap but on the days we did cook the kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The local area is very nice, we would recommend going on one of the boat trips to see the caves, we went on the 'black runner' which was a small speed boat and had a great day. Over all we had a great holiday and would love to return in the future!

  Our party of five, made up of my husband and I and our son age 14 and two daughters aged 10 and 8 stayed in a two bed apartment for our holiday. We found this to be an excellent property, and suited our needs far better than any package holiday ever has. The accommodation was as described and slept 6, although for purely personal reasons I would try and book a three bed next time, just for extra comfort. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and was the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in and was a home away from home. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is to perhaps have a bottle of cleaning spray just to give the toilets and kitchen a quick clean, as after an 11 night stay the apartment needed it. Also maybe a toilet roll in each toilet for arrival would be a good idea?! The owner was a pleasure to deal and was prompt with a reply to every query. Private transfers were arranged for us and these too were efficient and on time and made the airport journey's so comfortable and relaxed. The manager on site was so nice and friendly and was helpful in every way. It is ideally situated for a family, in that it is close enough to plenty of amenities but not in the middle of a crowded area and was mostly quiet at night for sleeping. The pool was clean and well maintained and there were always beds available. The Wifi in the apartment was brilliant and really appreciated by our teenager. I would and have already recommended this property to any friend or relative and intend to return there again ourselves, perhaps even next summer.

  The penthouse apartment was lovely with excellent facilities and plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 young children. Furnished to a high standard and exactly as descibed. Wi-fi and washing machine were particularly useful. Nice pool area and good location. Thanks to Marta who was on hand to quickly resolve any problems and also to Paul for safely returning an item we had left behind. We had an excellent holiday and would definitely recommend this apartment.

  We had a great holiday in Albufeira, the apartment was really close to the strip and everything was very tidy when we arrived. At first we didn't have hot water, but one call was enough and after half an hour or so everything was in order.

  This apartment was well above our expectations. The location, space and facilities were very welcomed by our family. We were five adults and had so much space. The Portugese hosts were very accomodating and welcoming. We had occasional problems with the internet and Jose and Marta were both very willing to help fix the problem. The area is beautiful and we would return in the future for sure.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

  We were a family of mum and dad and two teenagers. The apartment is fantastic. It has absolutley everything you could want and is so clean! We had a really relaxing break and the girls loved it as they had their own bathroom and wi-fi, what more could a teenage girl want. The location is good and there is a very large supermarket not too far away. We just walked there and got a taxi back for 5 euros. I enjoyed it that much I am shortly returining with my girlfiends!

  This is a fab apartment. Stayed here last year and were delighted to get it again this year. Verv spacious apartment and really clean. Transfers with yellow fish and they were excellent. Would be happy to stay in this aparetment again.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children.

  Me and my 5 other friends all 18 arranged a holiday to corcorvada to the penthouse as i had stayed near with my family and it was in an ideal location with the strip 5 minutes away. It had all the facilities listed on the website, the cleaner came in through the 2 weeks and gave us a towel change and also a linen change, it had comfy seating for all of us and as the weather was very hot, the air conditioning was always a good thing. Paul provided exellent service from when we first contacted him to book it, to sorting out the transport a few weeks before and always answered our emails very quickly and put all our parents at ease. Jose and Marta were also excellent throughout our holiday and helped us with whatever we needed, such as nearby hospitals etc As a group of young adults we very much enjoyed the barcrawls and also matts bar which we were there most nights, we enjoyed the italian restraunt on the top end of the strip and also the corcorvada club where we ate on the last night before going home. Overall it was an excellent holiday we couldn't have asked for more, it was exactly what it said on the site a truly beautiful apartment and we would highly recommend this apartment to anyone and are looking to go back ourselves next year!! I would recommend this holiday for familys with teenage children, and also a girly getaway.

  I had arranged a holiday to Portugal as a surprise for my mum's birthday. I chose this apartment because it had enough bedooms to fit us all in and the pictures looked great! Upon arrival my expectations were well and trully exceeded. The apartment was absolutely beautiful; a real home away from home. It had everything you could possibly need and more. The pool isn't huge but was more than adequate for our needs and there was tonnes of sunbeds so no need to be up at the crack of dawn to put towels out! The villa is in a great location; 5 minutes from the strip and a short taxi ride to the old town. This was great as it meant that we could vary where we spent our time. The strip is very much aimed at party people with lots of music and drinks offers whereas the old town is tranquil and beautiful with lots of really lovely restaurants. We also spent a day trip in Vilamoura which was approx 20 minute away by taxi and definitely worth a visit especially for the beach! There is a number of supermarkets and shops a short walk away so no problems stocking the kitchen cupboards! Paul also has another apartment in the same block which my aunty and family rented out and their apartment was fantastic also. Being able to spend our holiday as a whole family made it extra special so I would definitely reccommend the apartments to any big parties. Our apartment had a HUGE balcony where we spent a lot of time eating, drinking and playing cards. It was lovely to have a private place to spend time in the evenings with a nice glass of wine (which is very cheap by the way!) Paul was amazingly helpful in the lead up to our stay, responding quickly to every question I had (which was quite a lot!) The agents were also brilliant and made our stay really easy. I cannot reccommend this apartment enough, it was perfect in every way. Thanks Paul.

  Holiday dates 27th March 2011 Our stay at the Penthouse was better than we expected. The Penthouse had everything we needed and more. Our party consisted of 4 adults a 2 year old and 18 month old and the facilities suited everyone. The children especially enjoyed the freedom of the balcony and we were safe in the knowledge they could not come to harm. The pool facilities were easily accessed although not warm enough for us to try them out. Paul's responses were always quick and helpful. Following an accident we had in the property (our fault) where something was broken local agents Jose and Marta together with Paul resolved the problem quickly efficiently and very reasonably (It should be noted the security deposit was repaid into my bank 2 days of arriving home). Upon our arrival we were greeted by local agents Jose and Marta who amongst other things provided their telephone number for us to contact for any help or assistance. This was very reassuring to know someone could offer immediate help, helping us with taxis arrangements and local directions. Supermarkets, restaurants, local transport - bus - miniature train were all within a 5 walk. We were in Portugal for a family wedding and had little time to explore Albufeira but what we saw we liked. We would all recommend the Penthouse and would have no hesitation to return.
