  The property was immaculate and catered for all your needs.Lots of space and great storage for beach "stuff".The balcony was disappointing because it was a bit small,and the air con didn't work which meant for me the property for our week was not 5 star. Booking was great and we were greeted at the airport and the apartment.The beach was a bit of a trek especially in the heat,but once there it was lovely.I would reccomend this apartment to a friend.The strip was a bit commercial for my liking but the children loved the hustle and bustle.Myself and my husband fell in love with the old town which is were we would stay if we went again.

  Owner response: The airconditioning was delayed under technical planning laws for this new development - it is now fully commissioned. The old town is also a favourite place for us to visit - but because it is crowded we prefer the sanctuary provided by Corcovada when you need to get away from it all.   My husband, three young children and I spent a week in Sunny Retreat at the end of August this year. We had a wonderful holiday. The complex was beautiful and well maintained by the management company. The pool area was ideal for our needs. There were plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and the choice of two pools was ideal. However, communal toilet facilities would have been an added bonus, instead of having the return to the apartment. The security was excellent with key access needed for every entrance in addition to an intercom system. The apartment itself was perfect for us. The electric shutters were superb for the children to nap in darkness during the day and the occasional sleep-in some mornings! The location of the apartment complex was just 10 minutes walk from all the major amenities but there were some smaller restaurants and shops just across the road. The owner of the apartment was more than helpful prior to our holiday, providing a cot, high chair and stroller for our use. In addition there were also some inflatable toys for the pool , which took the hassle out of having to buy some. I would highly recommend this property to families seeking a nice quiet relaxing holiday away in the sun.

  Our 2 week stay was most enjoyable from the point of view of convenience, comfort and value. Of great importance was the service provided by our local contact person who was so helpful with information, making phone calls where language would have been a problem for us and arranging for minor maintenance. How fortunate we were to meet with the charming owner who could not have been more obliging in answering all our questions, making suggestions and offering convenience beyond that which was advertised.The financial arrangements for the rental were made so simply with the least possible cost in exchange and transfer rates. We would not hesitate to rent from this owner again.

  We arrived at the airport and successfully found our way to the Europecar rental center, where we then picked up our rental car and made our way to our accommodation, this took around an hour to get to, but that was to be expected because of the distance and darkness of the night but the directions provided us very useful. When we arrived we met our contact Jose and he was very helpful at showing us to and around the apartment, he left us his contact number and information on how we could find him should we need assistance. We had a very pleasant first night and made full use of the television and all the other great facilities we had on offer. Later on during the holiday we made our way down to the swimming pool and found it easy to get enough sun beds for each of. Should we decide to go to the beach the bus service and taxi service is the same price (based on 4 adults) so its very cheap to travel and the best place to park the rental car would be the multi story when in any town as its very cheap and beats all the hassle of parking, it seems everyone wants to park in the street to avoid parking charges but its really affordable. We would definitely return and are looking to book up in the future; however we would recommend that if you go out to eat and drink it is cheaper to make use of happy hours and restaurant that are on the outskirts of the strip or the upper part of the strip where we found a fantastic chicken restaurant.

  We have just come back from a week staying in this appartment, and without doubt, this is the best appartment we have stayed in. The photos do not do it justice, it is definatly five star! Everything you need is in the appartment, our kids loved the flat screen tv with plenty english channels, which kept them entertained in the evening after a long day out at sea marine, or aqualand. The appartment is very close to the strip, a little over 5 mins walk. We went down there every evening to eat and stroll around the various shops. We also went to a bull fight, which is about 3 mins walk from the appartment! The highlight of the trip was the sea rocket, which is a must for anyone visiting Albuferia! An unbelievable feeling crossing the waves at 100km an hour! So we would recommend this appartment to anyone! My biggest regret is that we didnt book it for two weeks, but we will definatly be booking it, the next time we return to Albuferia. I would also like to thank Paul! He was just a great guy to deal with, very professional!

  My family and I have just spent a week at this property (12/05/10) and i can thoroughly recommend it to anyone. The apartment was very modern and had everthing you could want, the pool area was also very pleasant with lots of sun lounges. The location is within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants which is a real bonus. Jose, the agent who met us on arrival at the apartment was very nice and he booked a couple of trips for us, his bar/restaurant on the complex is extremely handy and we had drinks there most days.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
