Beary Blessed cabin is indeed on "top" of the mountain. We had a little trouble finding it because the roads aren't marked paticularly well. However, when we did, we loved it immediately. The cabin was clean enough, although, the sheets could certainly be updated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The view would have been beautiful had the person next door not built their house directly in front of Beary Blessed. All in all we had a wonderful time in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area and would recommend it to anyone and we will return next year for sure. Deb

Owner response:I am sorry that you felt the sheets needed to be updated, we use a cleaning company that provides the linens and we will definitely speak with them on some updates for sheets, and yes the view would have been spectacular had their not been a house built in the location it was, but as owners, and as can be viewed by our past guest, the view is still a great one. We do look forward to having you stay with us again

We found the Beary Blessed Cabin on the internet and picked it for our post tax-season retreat. It was the perfect setting, nestled on the beautiful mountain top. The cabin was lovely, and we had the peace and quiet we needed for some R&R.

We stayed 7nights at Beary Blessed Cabin and had a wonderful time. Had not been to the Smokey Mountains in 14years. Cabin was very clean and well taken care of, the road to cabin was scary at first but was ok after going to and from a lot. The scenery from the cabin was fantastic and the Bears on the front porch will be an unforgettable memory forever. Went to shows, shopped, and drove and walked through the smokey mountains. Will be coming back soon to Beary Blessed Cabin. It was a "Bear of a Good Time"Don and Dorothy Taylor and family.

We stayed at Beary Blessed Cabins for our 6th anniversary it was perfect. The view was absolutely beautiful off the mountain. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing on a cool night. Already trying to plan time to visit again!

Stayed 4 nites thru Christmas weekend, the cabin is so nice, clean, and comfortable. Feels like home. Had snow on the ground when we arrived, it stayed for 3 days, thankfully the roads were clear !! We will probably be repeat guests. Loved being right 'on top' of the mtn.

We spent 5 wonderful nights at your cabin and had one of the best Thanksgivings ever! We were so impressed with your cabin and thought it was charming, spacious and extremely clean. Your suggestions prior to the trip were so helpful and we enjoyed exploring the area. All of us, including our 2 toddlers, had the best time and, despite the fact that we didn't get to see a bear,we would love to return again in the future.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time! The cabin was great and had everything we needed. We never saw any bears like we read other people wrote in the guestbook in the cabin but it was so nice to be there and just enjoy the peace and quiet. The drive up was not as bad either as we had thought. Our trip was a 9 year wedding anniversary/family vacation. We had such a good time. Thank you for everything and we will be back again!

We(4 adults)stay at your cabin for only 2 nights. It was great but too short. Everything was in good condition, the veiw and weather was great. the decor was the best. You are doing things right. We Had a Wonderful time at the Beary Blessed Cabin! On Saturday morning we awoke to a beautiful song bird outside the window! Also we got to see several deer grazing on the grass!! The Cabin had a very "I'm at home" feel and the Hot tub was very relaxing after spending the day chasing my 4yr old at the Aquarium!! My daughter absolutely enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub!! Overall we had a splendid time and felt very relaxed! We just got home and already are talking about planning another trip!! We have even started looking at some real estate! I would recommend Beary Blessed Cabin to anyone! Thanks for allowing us to stay and spend some much needed famiy time!!!!

Our stay was fantastic. The cabin itself was very well kept and maintained. All the decor matched the setting and we easily fell in love with it. The location is great at the top of the mountain and it is located pretty much in the middle between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We stayed at the Beary Blessed cabin for 6 nights. It was absolutely wonderful. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the hot tub was great!! The ride to the top of the mountain was a little scary at first. If you want to escape the noise and the crowds in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg then you must stay here. We did all the tourist things but we came back to peace and quiet everynight. Would definately stay again.

We usually stay in a motel in the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg,It was so nice to get on top of the mountain at Beary Blessed and relax and utalize the favorite verse of my wife.Be still and know that I am God Ps.46:10 and on the way up my son said we were so high up the mountain we had to be getting close to Gods foot, Thanks Binkley Family

Our family of 5 started a new tradition this year and booked your cabin for Thanksgiving holiday. We had the best time and were totally pleased with the cabin when we arrived. We brought board games for the family to play and really enjoyed the foosball table.. We had a tournament every night. The kitchen was well equipped for me to cook our Thanksgiving dinner and the Christmas Tree was a beautiful addition. We plan to make this a tradition for sure and are adding Beary Blessed Cabin to our list for next year!

The cabin was wonderful!!! Very clean! Loved the screened in porch, i have a 2 year old and this was very nice for him to play on with no worries. There were extra little touches throuh out the cabin. Great view, very close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will definitely be back!

Your cabin was perfect for our family of four on our get-a-way days after Christmas. It was warm and comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Love your tounge-in-cheek directions, "a slight hill." Will recommend you to friends.

We loved the cabin! It is so cozy and comfy. We came for a girls weekend getaway and were very impressed with everything. The trip up seemed to be a little tricky at times but was well worth it. My family's second stay at the Beary Blessed Cabin was Nov. 14-18th. It snowed Saturday night and we woke up to a beautiful white wonderland! Us Floridians never see snow, so this was an event for us. Second stay was as good as the 1st! Convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, we hope to stay again!

We stayed in the Beary Blessed cabin the first week of October, we loved the place, yes, the beds were very comfortable, the hot tub outside was very relaxing, it was a VERY nice quiet get away for a week. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are very nice places to visit for vacation, lots of things to do. We will definately try to stay there again.

We loved the Beary Blessed cabin! It is really cozy and just the right size for about 4-6 people. We took our 5 month old daughter and had plenty of room for her pack & play, bouncy chair and toys. The kitchen is well equipped and had every item we needed. We got a friendly visit from a neighborhood dog named Sister and she was friendly and playful as could be. My husband was thrilled that the satellite dish had a DVR. I highly recommend staying at Beary Blessed and do not let the drive up intimidate you! Just drive slowly and carefully and you will do just fine. We even braved going up in the rain and though we had a few tire spins, we made it just fine and none of our vehicles were SUV's or had any type of 4-wheel drive. If you're a military family, Ripley's gives really deep discounts, so make sure you don't pass that opportunity up. Many thanks to Keith and Sheila Bailey for allowing us to rent their beautiful cabin for our grandparents weekend for our daughter. It is nicely tucked away though simple to find, very cozy and we loved the view.

We had a wonderful time at the Beary Blessed Cabin. We celebrated our Mothers 86th birthday. Her favorite place is the mountains. The cabin was perfect. It was clean and had lots of amenities. We loved the hot tub and the huge screened in porch. The view was spectacular. I hope we will be able to visit again.

Our girls week-end was wonderful. Beary Blessed Cabin was beautiful and comfortable. My daughters and older granddaughter really enjoyed the hot tub. The little ones loved the stuffed animals (bears) and your thoughtfulness of leaving crayons and coloring books. We will come back.

Our stay at the Beary Blessed Cabin was a blessing. The only bad thing I experienced at the cabin was leaving. This is the most relaxing mini vacation we have ever had. The place was decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable, the view was breathtaking. the hot tub was so relaxing. Everything was set up so perfect. We took a tour at a local resort while we was in the mountains hoping to purchase a home away from home but nothing could compare to what we experienced at Beary Blessed Cabin. We will be staying here again in the future.

My family really enjoyed the cabin. We cooked most every night and had every thing we needed to do so. We got in the hot tub every morning and the kids really enjoyed playing foosball. We also loved the screened in porch. We ate every meal outside. The beds made you feel like you were still at home they were so comfortable. Getting to the top of the mountain was a little tricky at times but the location was excellent. Close to EVERYTHING we wanted to do. My family will be staying here again.

My family and I had a great time in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our stay at "Beary Blessed Cabin" was great. The cabin was ultra-clean which is a "biggie" with me and my family. The hot tub and jacuzzi were great as was the nice quiet atmosphere. Its a great get away from all the crowds and hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions but yet it is not that far away. It has a great mountain view and at night you can see the lights of Gatlinburg from afar. If I come back to this area I will for sure come back to "Beary Blessed Cabin" it does'nt get any better.

I took a small group of women to the "Beary Blessed cabin" for a retreat and what a wonderful time we had! It snowed the second day we were there so we just "had" to stay in and enjoy the hot tub. What a blessed time we had! I'll tell my friends and I plan to take my family there soon.

My family of 4 stayed in the BearyBlessedCabin Oct. 21-26th, 2007. The cabin was comfortable, roomy and cozy! We especially enjoyed sitting on the large front porch, rocking in the chairs and watching the steaks get done on the grill! Marvelous and breath taking view as well as centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Would definitely recommend to others for a restful get-a-way. We felt Beary Blessed to have stayed for 5 days!!

We had a beautiful time at this cabin! We came up with our 8 children and had a wonderful experience. There was plenty of room for all of us and we loved how we felt right at home. We had all of the comforts of home, yet in a rustic setting in the mountains. The location is very convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, although I wouldn't want to drive up that mountain after dark! We are "Beary Blessed" to have stayed there!

Owner response:For any mountain view, we all have to make that drive up the mountain to get to that breathtaking point of seeing the tops of the mountains. It is well worth it to those of us who love a mountain view though!

We have stayed in several cabins over the past 10 years and Berry Blessed was a great experience for us too. The visit from the bear was awesome. (looking throught the window from the inside of the cabin of course!) The christian atmosphere was a bonus for us too. Our parents traveles with us. This was their first visit to the area. They loves being in the cabin and sitting on the porch soaking up the peace and beauty of the mountains. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Our stay at Bearly Blessed Cabin was so awesome. The cabin is beautiful & the scenery was breath taking. We have been staying at other cabins in the area for the past 3 years for our church youth group visits. We will definitely be staying here again! We absolutely loved the Beary Blessed cabin. We were on vacation with our 1 year old daughter and this cabin was very family and small child friendly. The cabin decor is very inviting and you feel like you are at home and not a cold hotel room. All of the features and amenities were a definite plus and for the money you can't go wrong here. We would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to friends and family, nor would we hesitate to come back. The area was beautiful and the views were great. Watching the sunrise and sunset were amazing from the screened porch and the covered porch off of the upstairs bedroom. We loved the rocking chairs and all of the Bear decorations. The location, between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was very convenient. We did a lot of driving a round and this cabin was centrally located for all that we did.

The Beary Blessed cabin was simply a blessing to me and my family. The reservation process was extremely easy and stress free. And since we were going to the mountains it only made since to "stay in the Mountains! (I can't take credit for that one) There is no doubt that the cabin is up in the mountains..wow! What a view! The vacation rental was just as described on the web-site. It was a wonderful getawat for the "fam". The next time we visit the Gatlinburg area we will definetly try to stay at the Beary Blessed cabin.

It was as wonderful as our first visit. I loved the fact that the cabin is so secluded and peaceful. Building memories for our 4 grandkids was a blessing. They can't wait to go back! They also enjoyed the hiking, rafting, swimming, ice skating etc. I would have been happy to just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I love the decor of the cabin (can't wait to print the picture of the 3 year old sitting next to the "Beary Blessed" sign with the bear on the front porch! We can't thank you enough. We truly feel blessed. Our 10 year old enjoyed the Bibles sitting around (didn't pack hers) and memorized some more verse. We can't wait to return. From the keyless entry, to the timer on the fireplace,we felt that this cabin had been smartly furnished with much thought put into it. It is a beautiful all wood interior cabin that is very cozy. The price, location, number of bedrooms were all a plus, but the price definitely sold us. We really enjoyed our vacation here at the cabin and thank you.
