"New Roads," our Gulf view beach house, sleeps eight and is located in exclusive Carillon Beach, featured in Southern Living and Coastal Living magazines. Carillon is a gated community on the beach side of US Highway 98. No having to cross the highway to get to the beach! It is the only rental in Carillon that has a wheelchair ramp and HANDICAP-ACCESSIBLE first floor for the disabled member of your family. Plus, our rates cannot be beat!
Located on the quiet, west end of Panama City's beaches, Carillon has three pools, playground, tennis, boating, beach club, restaurants, and the Carillon market. You will feel as if you are a world away.
But for those family members who enjoy the activities, Carillon is only minutes from numerous world-class golf courses, Shipwreck Island Water Park, Ripley's Believe it or Not, WonderWorks, Gulf World Marine Park, putt-putt golf, bumper cars, Seaside, Pier Park shopping and several nationally-recognized state parks.

This beautiful, two-story, Creole-style home overlooking Lake Carillon is professionally decorated entirely by Norwalk and boasts a huge, front porch on each floor on which to view the gorgeous sunsets. It has hardwood floors throughout with carpeting in the upstairs bedrooms, tile in the bathrooms, outdoor shower, and granite countertops in the kitchen. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a study downstairs that converts to a bedroom with private bath, or the perfect dressing room for the bride.
Enjoy just a short, one-block stroll to the beach walkover with a dip in the pool halfway between, or walk the other direction and within minutes you are in the quaint New Orleans-style Carillon Market eating, shopping, hitting the gym or enjoying the spa. Follow it up with an evening stroll throughout the picturesque village, or return home to roast marshmallows on the backyard built-in BBQ pit.
The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king-size bed, TV/VCR/DVD, walk-in closet, and full bath. The second upstairs bedroom has twin beds and TV-VCR with a second bathroom just across the hall that conveniently has a washer and dryer. The downstairs study has a pull-down, full-size, Murphy bed and sliding French doors which convert this room into a cozy, private bedroom with private, handicapped-accessible bathroom. There is also a queen-size sleeper in the living room.
Bose speakers are networked throughout the house for your relaxation. Internet WiFi service provided. Outdoor gas BBQ grill. Beach service chairs and umbrella provided in season. Plenty of parking.

This was our first trip to Carillon Beach and it was absolutely amazing. New Roads was the perfect place for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and was minutes from the beach. Loved every minute!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: New Roads is owned by two generations of the same family. Bill & Carolyn are retired teachers. Daughter Caroline and her husband Doug are attorneys.
Why the Owner Chose Carillon Beach:
Originally, New Roads was not built as a rental property, but to meet the needs of our own family. Bill & Carolyn were looking for a second home. Doug & Caroline lived in the area already, and so it was the perfect place for the entire family to gather together. In it's design, we wanted to maintain the cottage feel, and yet live big to accommodate our entire extended family. No matter the age, Carillon Beach has something for every member of our family.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The kids love biking around the village. The teens love shopping at Pier Park. The adults love the casual walks, the fitness center, spa and the wine bar. Everyone loves the beach and the sunsets!
