Steps to the beach!!! Great oceanviews and breezes from our covered front porch and open main living area. Spacious family room is sunny and large and opens to the gourmet kitchen and dining room which seats 8 at a country farm table.
Master and Jr. Master bedrooms with private baths on main level together with a powder room and laundry room. Master Bedroom has walk-in closet so large many families use as a toddler room with a portable crib. Beach level has two additional bedrooms and share a full bath. All queen size beds with excellent mattresses. High quality furnishings and finishes, fresh and brightly decorated with great supply of current books and magazines for your enjoyment. Wonderful outdoor shower and outdoor fireplace. Property maintained with great attention...hardwood floors, new carpet and updated appliances.
Three car parking. The best location just up the block from Eds, the Starboard and Sunrise for breakfast! In season beach service available, umbrellas, chairs and food stands. Trolly Stand (seasonal) at the end of our block.

Our family has been coming to the DE beaches for decades. We live in the Washington Metro area and love how close Dewey is to home yet when we arrive we are a million miles away. We park our car upon arrival and walk or take the trolley around town.
Why the Owner Chose Dewey Beach
We chose Dewey Beach because we love the proximity to the DC area. It takes as little as 2.5 hours from door to door for us. We also love that Dewey has a small town feel with lots of "Mom and Pop" owned restaurants and shops to frequent. Our favorites are: "ED's" at the corner of our street, he is famous for his chicken marinade; "SUNRISE" for breakfast, has a diner like feeling and huge breakfasts. But most of all we chose Dewey Beach over its neigbors because it is DOG FRIENDLY, dogs are allowed in the early morning and evening hours. Walking on the beach with our dogs is like being in another world and always a highlight of our vacations.
The Unique Benefits of this House; duplex (we are 1 of 2)
My favorite things about our house is its proximity to the beach. From the front porch I can watch my kids and family on the beach. It is also easy to get back and forth for all the little things you need back at the house. Dewey also has full beach service so if you need to rent chairs, umbrellas or get a hot dog or ice cream it is all available. The beach is a very social place but there is always room for more.
