Our goal was to create Blissy Beach as a Five-Star Caribbean Vacation Home. We spent months making this the best beach house in Michigan. We looked not just in Michigan, but all over the USA, and this was the perfect beach. It is like something from a romantic movie. We think you will find it is a magnificent beach and one of the most fun houses ever.

If you have never been delighted by a rental before, get ready! We bought Blissy Beach in 2005, and spent all winter and most of this spring and summer renovating the home to be your ideal beach getaway.

Blissy Beach has a somewhat remote feeling to it. It is sort of like being on an island in the ocean, but just a short distance from town. We have what is arguably the best location on the beach. It sounds cliché, but it really is a magical location.

We added designer tile, bead board ceilings, big walkouts, wainscoted walls, ceiling fans everywhere, custom closets, satellite TV, kayaks, beach chairs, bright outside lighting, original artwork, great in-home theatre with additional stereo speakers in Master, Kitchen, Living, and Dining. We crammed every fun and colorful idea we could into this wonderful cottage for your BLISSFUL delight!

    We are soooo grateful you decided to share this beautiful beach! The Beach House is so cozy and colorful. The Beach is the best ever! We thoroughly enjoyed swimming & sunning, sunsets and bonfires. The water is so clean and clear, very sandy and really fun waves. Kayaking is great too!

    What a wonderful beach house! Very comfortable and de-stressing. Its decorated so creatively for this water/dune setting. We had fun family dinners in the sun room & (a poker night) & played games on the big table in the living room. Most days we were on the beautiful beach. You can walk quite a long way south, go out on the kayaks, or neighbor Paul would invite us to jump on the water trampoline. Best swimming ever (in my lifetime). Thanks to Brad and Linda for their wonderful hospitability, especially the afternoon on the Flying Tangerine!

    The one thing I like best about the place: Swimming! (Normally it must be very hot before I get wet.) Not here though! Water temp. was perfect every day! I swam at night while the bonfires were burning and in the daylight when the water as smooth as glass or rough with whitecaps!
