Nestled among the whispering pines of The Aspens, located on Moose Wilson Road, this three bedroom plus loft, two full bath, mountain hideaway is a perfect destination for a family or small group.
Upon entering this cozy, well furnished home, one will enjoy a warm, inviting living room, equipped with a Vermont wood-burning stove, TV, VCR, DVD, and stereo. Large windows allow for wildlife viewing and birdwatching. Moose and many of the region's birds frequent the surrounding pines, aspens and willows throughout the year.
A well equipped kitchen and adjacent dining area, along with two bedrooms and a full bath complete the downstairs living space.
The first bedroom has twin beds and a TV, and the second has a set of bunk beds. Both rooms are comfortable and welcoming. Above the kitchen a ladder leads to a loft area with a queen-size bed, usually a child's first choice for sleeping accommodations.
A laundry room off the first level leads to the newly installed hot tub and outdoor deck in the back of the house. Upstairs a cozy landing welcomes readers or folks just wanting to relax. The spacious and private master bedroom with a queen size bed and bath (with shower only) can be accessed from the landing. Some mornings one can spot a cow moose and calf in the backyard from the bathroom windows or hear mountain chickadees chirping in the dense pines.
One of the best features of this wonderful family home is the outside redwood deck that wraps around the front and side of the house. Also, after a long day of hiking or skiing, take time to turn on the jets and enjoy a relaxing and well deserved hot tub in the backyard. Summer barbecues and napping in the Pawley's Island hammock are a must. A detached garage is available for one car. |
