Abrazo Casa Bocana is named for the 'Dune Break' in front of this impressive sanctuary. It is part of the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean that spreads out before you. From the many vistas in our home, you can see the whales spout as they come right to the beach during their migration from late November through March! Remember that this is a cool tropical environment through June, even when Cabo and La Paz are pretty hot, this area is lovely!!
You are a one-minute walk from a stunning shoreline that goes for miles in both directions! This is a great fishing and walking beach, with swimming and surfing beaches nearby. You can see the famous La Pastora surf break from the patio. The stars at night are too fabulous to describe.
Mature landscaping surrounds this lovely, 2500 square foot, all solar home with original artwork throughout. All bedrooms have King sized Beds!!! There are two separate floors. The downstairs has a Great room with full kitchen, fireplace, and living room with satellite TV & DVD viewing, and big double patio with screened dining area and barbecue. Spacious Master bedroom, Mexican tiles adorn the walk in shower. Second charming bedroom with king bed and half bath, both have private entry double doors to the patio and views. We have a whole house water purification system.
A private entry leads to the upstairs, a beautiful Master Suite with a King bed with sitting area and a fireplace, two lovely patios sporting stunning views everywhere you look.
The upstairs also has its own TV/DVD. Wireless Internet This is a solar and city electric home.
Five minute drive north of downtown Todos Santos off Calle Las Playitas. Fish vendors drive by the house once a week. Great restaurants ranging from great street tacos to gourmet cuisine, grocery store, organic produce, shops, great arts community, and all that the area has to offer within a five minute drive, yet a peaceful beautiful place to come home and watch the sunset every night! We are back and Tucson and had a great time!!! The house worked out perfectly for the six of us. I am sorry I neglected to write a note in the guest book. The whales were really performing for us. Well, after my second visit to the CasaBocana and the newer one for a first time, I absolutely love both places. The ocean is heard all the time, and at some times the white caps decorate the air right from the patios. the spot is the untimate getaway. JDDid you find this review helpful? Dear Linda Sue, What a wonderful week we had lounging on the portal of your wonderful house! Heri may have told you about our arriving in TS without his telephone number. Quite hair raising, but the owner of the Hotel California knows Heri, and called him. He and his family drove us to the house. Everything about the house was just delightful, especially Terryl's artwork. Please tell her how much we enjoyed it. Linda Sue and Terryl, I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know again how much I appreciate your generosity in sharing your home with us last week. A few discovery trips into town, unique shops and galleries, nice and interesting people and some great restaurants was just what I needed. Setting in the afternoon on the covered deck and reading my book while listing to the ocean was perfect! The apartment upstairs was perfect! We kept one window open at night so that the ocean would rock us to sleep. I have never in my life seen the stars like standing on the upstairs open patio and just looking up! The whales were the most unforgettable part of the trip for me. The day we watched the five playing in the surf 30 yards away was something that I will never forget. We loved having Pica around to help not miss Baron and Gretchen so much. She is such a great dog. Did you know she went to the beach and running with Jim that last day? How wonderful that your lives were brought together. I was also great to have the opportunity to get to know you and both. Thank you for all of your conversations, guidance, activity suggestions and your friendship. I will be looking forward to pictures of the new house's addition/construction progress. Linda- Happy New Year! Thanks so much for your email- we arrived safely back in San Diego on Sunday after a long drive. Todos Santos was a wonderful trip and we very much appreciated having the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. We loved the beachfront view and spent hours watching whales swim by- it was definitely a relaxing vacation and wonderful place to spend time together as a family. Thank you Linda Sue for letting us rent your truly beautiful house! The grounds and art work are unbelievable (in fact, if you would like to sell the picture of the Dancing Senorita, let us know!). The solar worked perfectly and we never needed generator. We are building a house in the area and got lots of great ideas from your house...we love the doors and windows. Why the Owner Chose Todos Santos:
We love this location! It is just back a nice distance from the ocean so you get an awesome view, it is on the beach side of the road, so you are quite close to walk down to the beach. The Bocana is fun to be on, as the lagoon is always changing, lots of birds and fun things to watch. Todos Santos is a very lovely community to be in as well, with plenty of fun and nice people, and beaches to always have entertainment and great food when you want to go out.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This house is very nice to stay in. It has a wonderful downstairs area with fireplace, screened in dining area, patio and two bedrooms with private doors out to the patio and of course with full kitchen. The upstairs is a second Master bedroom with a sitting area, and two outdoor patio areas with shade. All rooms in the house have ocean views!
