This fabulous home is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac in a neighborhood surrounded by lagoons and the Turtle Point golf course. Tall palmetto trees sway in the breezes off the lagoon and provide a beautiful backdrop for your family vacation. Private, yet very conveniently located to the beach. With a stroll over the lagoon bridge, past the golf course and over the boardwalk, you'll find yourself on the beach within minutes. Or, just a 2 minute walk in the other direction will lead you to the community pool.
A covered front porch welcomes guests into the beautifully furnished and open interior spaces. Hardwood flooring and access to the outdoor living spaces highlight nearly every room of the home.
This house offers over 2500 square feet of luxury living space that is tastefully furnished and decorated. Four large bedrooms, three baths, gorgeous oak floors, granite kitchen countertops, high ceilings, a large family kitchen, wireless internet and wonderful lagoon views, make this the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation.
The living room with its lagoon views and access to the screened porch brings the beauty of the outdoors in, while a fireplace adds architectural interest. The living room is well equipped with all the features the "techies" in your family demand - a 46" flat panel TV over the fireplace, a CD player with an IPod docking station, a Blu-Ray player and wireless internet.
Step out onto the back porch and enjoy breakfast in the sunshine of the early morning, or watch the sunset with a glass of wine and view the birds as they swoop through the palmettos down to the lagoon. There you will find a huge, stainless steel grill - just ready to put a sizzle on your steaks. Enjoy dinner inside or on the porch - on the porch there is a table for four under the ceiling fan.
The kitchen is well equipped and features plenty of storage and preparation space. Outfitted with granite countertops, the kitchen is both stylish and functional. The adjacent dining areas offer lagoon views and access to the screened porch for alfresco dining. You'll be hard-pressed to find a kitchen as well-stocked as this one. It is furnished with everything that you'll need to make fabulous dinners - from the ziplock bags, Pam spray and olive oil, to the apple slicer, coffee grinder and vacuum cork set for your wine.
Located on the first floor, the first master bedroom includes a queen-size bed, a 32" flat panel TV/DVD, a large master bathroom includes a double vanity and shower.
Also located on the first floor is a laundry room and a bedroom with two twin beds, a 26" flat panel TV/DVD, with a bathroom just down the hall.
The second floor offers a second master bedroom with a king-size bed and 32" flat panel TV/DVD. It shares a bathroom with the 4th bedroom which has two twin beds and a 26" flat panel TV/DVD. Both upstairs bedrooms open to private decks.
The house is all about comfort. All bedrooms are complete with pillow-top mattresses, Egyptian-cotton sheets and down-alternative pillows. And every bathroom is complete with fluffy towels.
This house is furnished with everything from an outside grill, community pool, washer/dryer, utensils, pots and pans, to a cooler and beach towels.
The "Summer House" accommodates up to 8 people. No smoking, no pets.

About Property Managers: Shawn and Jeanette Lawson (Kiawah Island Getaways)
Shawn's family discovered Kiawah in 1978 and returned year after year for two-week vacations. In 1985 we drove our VW Bug convertible to Kiawah and Shawn introduced me to Kiawah. I remember stepping over the dune boardwalk out in front of the Kiawah Island Inn and seeing Kiawah's wide, sandy beach for the first time - it was so brilliant it practically danced before my eyes. It was during this vacation that the two of us decided to set our sights on moving to this beautiful and fascinating place permanently.
In 1988 our dreams came true and our U-Haul rattled across the Kiawah Island bridge (at that time it was nothing more than a wood-planked bridge). For the next four years we rented a 1-bedroom villa, 4251 Mariner's Watch. Shawn was so thrilled to be living on the island that he spent the additional money required for the personalized South Carolina license plate "KIAWAH" (which we still own today).
In 1992, we built our first home on the island at 134 Conifer Lane. During construction, I gave birth to our first son Benjamin - he arrived 2 months early in an ambulance outside of the Kiawah Island Fire Station.
In 2001, we purchased our first villa, a 1-bedroom, beachside Seascape (3563) and Kiawah Island Getaways was born. Once we got our feet wet with the villa rental business, it was a like a fever for us. We both really enjoyed furnishing, decorating and maintaining the villas - not to mention the new found fun of meeting and talking to all sorts of people about Kiawah. Because we really enjoy what we do, other Kiawah Property Owners noticed and we started managing their properties as well.
Our whole family loves Kiawah and running Kiawah Island Getaways is a true family-run business. We personally prepare each villa prior to your arrival - because we want your stay to be perfect. We want you to fall in love with Kiawah too...and we know you will!!

We loved the Summer House! We were a group of 4 adults and two young children (2.5 years and 3 months) and there was enough space for everyone with some to spare. It was beautifully decorated and the linens were all high end. The location is perfect - a quick and lovely walk to the beach, and even closer to a very nice community pool. Kiawah Island Getaways did an amazing job of answering our questions beforehand and attending to every detail so that our vacation was truly that - nothing to worry about! We can't wait to return!

Thank you for a lovely week in your gorgeous villa. The decor was fabulous, and it was stocked with everything to make our vacation carefree and easy. The view from all three floors was fantastic and we loved the easy access to the beach.

My family enjoyed a special reunion in May 2009 at the Beach House to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. It was a wonderful present to ALL of us! The house was just wonderful - immaculately clean and well equiped. We were a family of 10 with 4 grandchildren under the age of 8...so we really appreciated the spaciousness of the unit; each family had their privacy and their own bathroom! When we all weren't enjoying the beach or day trips to Charleston or golf, the children enjoyed the board games and DVD player and the TVs... All the makings for a really wonderful vacation. Truly a special property with something for everyone. Can't wait to come back!!
