My wife and I had a wonderfull weekend ar this perfect, cozy cottage. The views from the hottub, the living room and the deck are amazing. You can tell there is pride in ownership in this cabin as everything is perfectly maintained. We are planning a trip back with the kids as they would love it as well.

This cottage and property are lovely, even in January. We enjoyed the grounds, the night lighting, the hot tub, the outdoor shower, the huge deck and water views. The cottage is comfortable, tastefully decorated and not overdone, and the master bed oh so comfortable. There are board games to play and a range of music to listen to. A very nice place overall.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend here at the cottage. Enjoyed some nice weather, boating around Secret Cove and Thormanby Island. Sunday was light rain but that didn't stop us from having coffee in the hot tub, late brunch and some more boating.

We had a wonderful week of gorgeous weather - saw lots of birds (but no bears). John kayaked every day and I enjoyed the peace, quiet and beauty of the deck. Got a lot of reading and deep thinking done! The garden and deck plantings are spectacular this year - glad we came back for an entire week this time. We are so looking forward to coming back again. Wow! What an awesome place. Had a terrific time at the water - exploring the trails and relaxing. Had a surprise visitor while playing crib on the deck - a small black bear wandering through your yard. Got his picture taken and then wandered off. We would like to return. Thank you so much.

Arrived to a Spring like day at the cottage. Sun filtered all afternoon onto the deck through your trees and the little glass birds on the windows sent tiny rainbows throughout your rooms. Beautiful. Your garden is waking up from winter hibernation. Gary has just poured us a glass of wine and we are enjoying the warmth of the wood stove. Music from your surrond sound system is marvellous. Wonderful girls' weekend. Lots of chatting and sewing. Nice to connect with long time friends again. Weather was perfect - one day of heavy rain followed by a day of beautiful sunshine. Lovely setting with gorgeous views.

Spent a relaxing Remembrance Day long weekend hiking and hot tubbing. Recommend Pender Hill hike for the fantastic view from the top. Fierce winds took the power out on Sunday night adn we had to BBQ Breakfast the next morning. No power and still very windy when we left but the hot tub was still nice and warm.

Dutch sisters annual retreat. Appreciated the well equipped kitchen! A very cosy, private cottage and the hot tub was much appreciated since it rained all three days. Great few days to bond with siblings. A beautiful setting amongst the trees with spectacular views. The hot tub was a final bonus. Willie was sick so had the master bedroom all to herself. Loved the wood stove on the rainy days.

What an amazing, pristine place this is! We enjoyed every minute - from the crisp,cool air (we are from Texas!!) to the hikes with spectacular views, sea kayaking and bird watching. Charming and well equipped cottage. Sitting out on the deck enjoying the fabulous view and sunsets was so relaxing. Did of couple of great boat trips, had a few bites on the fishing rod. We certainly loved our stay here. Having such a well stocked kitchen with such good utensils and cooking facilities really helped with organizing the food. We loved sitting out on the deck and did so even when it was cool. We hiked the Skookumchuk Narrows trail and were so glad we did as we felt really rewarded by such dramatic waters. We just spent our first three days at your most beautiful "villa in the woods" and enjoyed our stay immensely. The view from Pender Hill, our first hike in the area, was breathtaking and so we spent an entire afternoon up there. Steak dinner with wine, hot tub followed by "Casino Royale" on your wonderful surround sound system made for the perfect relaxing evening. The next day we watched movies, read from your extensive library and then hiked into Smuggler's Cove where we saw beavers, deer, turtles,and seals as well as a spectacular sunset. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us. We'll definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to relax! Stunning sea views, breathtaking landscapes, and to top it all, a comfortable home from home. Luxury!! Sitting in the sun on the enormous deck with a large glass of red wine, combing the beach for all sorts of critters, watching the herons stalking their prey......... total heaven!! A fantastic place for a break. I'll be back!! ps.. The blackberries made a wonderful crumble too!!!

I am envious of the beautiful cabin you have nestled in the trees overlooking Halfmoon Bay. It was a very quick and easy retreat to get to from Vancouver and we're so glad we chose your cabin for our relaxing weekend away. We cannot stop talking about the vistas from your huge sundeck, the unimaginable quietness, nor the beauty of the surrounding area. Feels like a breath of fresh air when we are here. Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful! What a nice spot and so close to everything we need. Katherine Lake is a wonderful place to swim (just past Madeira Park on the way to Irvine's Landing). Porpoise Bay Provincial park is another. The hot tub is a nice addition. Had a great time!

We had a great few days - beautiful scenery, beach walks, saw bald headed eagles and the boys enjoyed the Sechelt Golf & Country Club as well as the Pender Harbour Golf Club. We swam in Porpoise Bay (at the Provincial Campsite Park) as well as up in Pender Harbour in Katherine Lake. Ordered pizzas from the Upper Crust Gourmet Store as well as ice cream. We haven't been up here since last Fall and we picked the perfect weekend for it - hot and sunny! It was 31 degrees when we arrived Friday. Sam was most impressed with the cabin and several times enthusiastically exclaimed "Wow!" "Nice!" - especially when he ran out on the sundeck. We had a much needed relaxing weekend.

What a wonderful escape from the demands and stresses of city life and caring for elderly parents. We had a fantastic birthday weekend in paradise. This was quite an adventure for a girl from Prince George. The fact that I could be in my tank top (without risking frostbite) was more thrilling than I care to mention! Enjoyed staying at the cottage and a couple of days of snow. What a beautiful contrast of the snow laden trees with the ocean in the background. However, a little bit of white stuff didn't stop us from enjoying a walk in the neighbourhood and picking up a couple of loaves of fresh bread at the Upper Crust Gourment Store. Thank you.
